CBe-learn is a public elementary, junior high and high school located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The school is under the jurisdiction of the Calgary Board of Education. The school is currently located within the Career and Technology Centre.

Westbrook Mall is a shopping centre in Calgary, Alberta. Its anchors are Safeway and Walmart. The Westbrook Station on the West Line of the C-Train is located adjacent to the mall. The mall was originally opened in 1964 but was renovated in 2002.

Westbrook is the third station on the West LRT line of the CTrain light rail system in Calgary, Alberta. The station, along with the rest of the line, opened on December 10, 2012. However, on December 8, 2012, it was opened as a preview for the public to use.The station is located underground beside 33 Street SW between Bow Trail and 17 Avenue SW, 4 km from the 7 Avenue & 9 Street SW Interlocking. The station, along with associated office block above it, occupies the site of the former Ernest Manning High School, which closed in June 2011, and a former Petro-Canada service station that closed in 2009. The school and station were demolished to make room for this station and a new school (using the same name) was built 3.5 kilometres away near the 69 Street SW station. The new school opened in September 2011. The Westbrook station also offers a new BRT service to Mount Royal University and Heritage station. The station platform is located underground, with two entrances above ground, and is the first operational underground CTrain station in Calgary. A station was planned for under Calgary's Olympic Plaza. However, only the approach tunnel exists below Calgary's Municipal Building, as part of a subway system that was partially built and mothballed in the mid-1980s. The station was built with provisions for a spur line to Mount Royal University in the future. The platform is side-loading and is connected via two entrances: the north entrance is located in the lobby of a four-storey office block constructed on the former site of the service station; the south entrance is via a standalone building. An escalator, stairs and an elevator provide access to the platform at both entrances. A small bus loop has been constructed near the north entrance which also doubles as an access road to the nearby Westbrook Mall. In its first year of service, Westbrook served an average of 8,180 boardings per day.The station primarily serves the communities of Spruce Cliff, Rosscarrock, and Killarney. Also, the Westbrook Mall is located near this station and the general area is part of the Westbrook Area Redevelopment Plan (ARP). In April 2016, a Calgary Public Library branch, named the Nicholls Family Library, opened inside the main floor of the office block adjacent to the station entrance, replacing the nearby Shaganappi branch. A cafe operated within the library branch for a short time after its opening, but subsequently closed and was converted for further library use.

Spruce Cliff is a residential neighbourhood in the southwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is bounded to the north by the CPR tracks and the Bow River, to the east by the Shaganappi golf course and 33 Street W, to the south by Bow Trail and to the west by 37 Street W. The land was annexed in 1910, and Spruce Cliff was established in 1950. It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 8 councillor.

Shaganappi is a residential neighbourhood in the southwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is located between 17 Avenue SW and the Bow River. The Shaganappi golf course is located north of the Bow Trail. The name Shaganappi is of Cree origin, and was used as far back as 1870. The land was annexed to the City of Calgary in 1910 and Shaganappi was established as a neighbourhood in 1949. It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 8 councillor.

Rosscarrock is a residential neighbourhood in the southwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is bounded to the north by Bow Trail to the east by 33 Street W, to the south by 17 Avenue S and to the west by 45 Street W. The Westbrook Mall is located in the northeast corner of the neighbourhood, and it is bordered by the Shaganappi golf course. Rosscarrock was established in 1954. It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 8 councillor.

45 Street station is a CTrain light rail station in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It is the fourth station from downtown on the West leg of the Blue Line. It opened for revenue service on December 10, 2012. On December 8, 2012, a preview of the West Line was provided.The station is located in a trench on the north side of 17 Avenue SW and west of 45 Street SW, 5.3 km West of the 7 Avenue & 9 Street SW Interlocking. No park & ride is provided and the station is a walk-on only with passengers arriving by Calgary Transit buses, cycling, walking or by vehicle drop off. The platforms are side-loading with grade-level access at the west end and stairs and ramps at the east end. The station serves the neighborhoods of Glendale, Rosscarrock, Westgate and Glenbrook. It is located immediately adjacent to the Calgary main office of the Alberta Motor Association, as well as a district Calgary Police Service station. 45 Street along with 69 Street are the first trenched stations to be built in Calgary. In its first year of service, 45 Street served an average of 3,630 boardings per day.

Glendale is a residential neighbourhood in the southwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is located south of 17th Avenue SW, east of Sarcee Trail and Signal Hill and west of 37 Street SW and Killarney. The Optimist Athletic Park is located in this community. It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 6 councillor.

Killarney, also known as Killarney/Glengarry, is a residential neighbourhood in the city of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It is bounded by 17th Avenue S.W. on the north, 37th Street S.W. on the west, Richmond Road S.W. on the south, and 25A Street S.W. on the east. It was named after Glengarry County, Ontario, as the place the first settlers originated from.

Shaganappi Point station is a CTrain light rail station in Shaganappi, Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It is located in the median of Bow Trail, just west of 26th St. SW, 3km West of the 7 Avenue & 9 Street SW Interlocking. The second station on the West line, it opened with preview service on December 8, 2012, and opened for revenue service on December 10, 2012.The station has side-loading platforms that are only accessed by ramps from the intersection of Bow Trail and 26 Street SW immediately east. The 27-hole Shaganappi Point Golf Course is located near the station. In its first year of service, Shaganappi Point served an average of 1,320 boardings per day.The Kerby Centre (a major drop-in centre for seniors) was planned to be relocated to a location beside this LRT station by 2017, from its current location in downtown Calgary.

Wildwood is an established neighbourhood in the Southwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It was first settled in 1883 and developed in the 1950s on a plateau to the south to the Bow River valley, and is primarily composed of single-detached bungalows on wide lots with rear laneways. Wildwood is bounded on the north by Edworthy Park, a significant natural area park in Calgary, and the Bow River. It borders the neighbourhood of Spruce Cliff on the east side at 38th Avenue SW, and is limited on the south side by Bow Trail, a six-lane expressway. It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 6 councillor. Between 2006 and 2009, Bow Trail was widened to accommodate more suburban traffic.

Lawrey Gardens, erroneously known as Lowrey Gardens is an urban park in southwestern Calgary, Alberta along the Bow River.
