HM Prison Holloway was a closed category prison for adult women and young offenders in Holloway, London, England, operated by Her Majesty's Prison Service. It was the largest women's prison in western Europe, until its closure in 2016.

Tufnell Park is an area in north London, England, in the London boroughs of Islington and Camden. Its existence as a district or neighbourhood in Inner London is consolidated by its tube station on the Northern Line which, non-exclusively, serves this area of former farmland last owned by a wealthy branch of the Tufnell family before its development. The station opened in 1907; this is also the nearest tube station for the similarly residential Dartmouth Park, a higher area towards the centre of Highgate. The two are separated by part of today's London Overground line built in the 19th century; however, Junction Road railway station between the two "Park" districts closed in 1943, on the GOBLIN, the spur line of the main Overground loop about 200 metres north of the tube station. Tufnell Park Football Club was a football club based immediately south of the overground railway, where Tufnell Park Playing Fields and a playground is today. One of the top amateur clubs in the country in the early 20th century, it merged in 1950 into Edmonton F.C., in turn merging in 1973 into Haringey Borough F.C. based at Coles Park, Tottenham.

Torriano Primary School is a community primary school in Kentish Town, London. The school was founded in 2015 following the merger of the previous Torriano Junior School with Torriano Infants School. It is rated Outstanding by Ofsted. Torriano has inherited from its predecessor a partnership with Netley Primary School that was set up in 2012.

Whittington Park is a public park in Upper Holloway, North London. Like the nearby Whittington Hospital, it is named after Dick Whittington, and a large topiary cat, in reference to Whittington's legendary pet, stands at the Holloway Road entrance. Amenities include a raised Astroturf football pitch, children's playground, and experimental garden planted as part of an RSPB initiative to investigate the preferred habitat of house sparrows. In 2009 and 2010, renovations were carried out at Whittington Park, including the construction of a new community centre.

Nambucca is a live music venue in Holloway Road in London. Since being rebuilt following a fire it now houses two distinct areas in a big open plan venue - a front bar area and a rear dancefloor and gig area. It is popular with up-and-coming bands and hosts music and entertainment events on a nightly basis. In the mid-part of the 2000s Nambucca provided a platform for many of the forerunners of the London nu-folk scene, with artists such as Frank Turner, Marcus Mumford, Beans on Toast and Laura Marling performing there regularly. It also was a staple of the burgeoning indie-scene led by The Libertines and many successful bands performed early gigs there including The Holloways who were actually formed at the venue and played their first gig there. On December 17, 2008 a fire at the venue caused major destruction and it was almost two years before it reopened.On October 31, 2014, after another closure, an extensive refurbishment and a change of ownership, the bar reopened once again. Many long-running and successful events have now found a new home at the venue in its latest incarnation. Nambucca is now a 300-capacity music venue, with the re-positioning of the stage to the back of the room as opposed to its former position at the left-hand side of the venue, allowing a clear view for all gig-goers. The venue has a 30-channel Soundtrack Si-Compact mixing desk and PA system. Since its reopening in 2014 it has hosted gigs by artists such as Wolf Alice, The Wombats, Fat White Family, John Power (Cast, The La's) The Rifles (band), The Enemy (UK rock band) and many more and currently houses the popular This Feeling and Some Weird Sin clubnights.

Camden Town is a ward in the London Borough of Camden, in the United Kingdom. The ward will represent the area of the same name. The ward will be first used for the 2022 Camden London Borough Council election, and will elect two councillors to Camden London Borough Council. Most of its area was previously in the Camden Town with Primrose Hill ward, which will be abolished at the same time. In 2018, the ward had an electorate of 4,792.

The Royal Northern Hospital was a general hospital on Holloway Road, London N7, near Tollington Way. It had inpatient, outpatient, accident and emergency facilities and was also a centre for postgraduate education.

Market Estate is a public housing estate consisting of 271 flats and maisonettes situated to the north of Caledonian Park in the London Borough of Islington. It is named after the Metropolitan Cattle Market which operated on the site until the 1960s. After slaughter the carcasses of cattle and sheep were sent by underground trains to Smithfield Market to be traded. Three of the six blocks that make up the estate are named after breeds of animal that were traded in the market: Tamworth (pigs), Kerry (cows) and Southdown (sheep). The remaining three blocks are called the Clock tower blocks after the market's clock tower which still stands in Caledonian Park. This contains a working clock used as a prototype for the mechanism of Big Ben.

St Luke's Kentish Town is an active Church of England parish church on Oseney Crescent in Kentish Town, North London, closed from 1991 to 2011 and now hosting a Holy Trinity Brompton church plant. The church has been designated by English Heritage as a Grade II* listed building,One of its missions is combatting gun and knife crime, though there is no dedicated programme to do so.

Pleasance Islington (also known as Pleasance London or the Pleasance Theatre) is a fringe theatre in Islington, London, opened in 1995. It is run by the Pleasance Theatre Trust and is the sister venue of the original Pleasance Edinburgh. It has hosted popular comedians including Michael McIntyre, Russell Brand, Micky Flanagan, Mark Watson, Adam Hills and Mark Thomas.

Upper Holloway railway station is in Holloway, north London (N19). It is on the Gospel Oak to Barking Line, 3 miles 0 chains (4.8 km) from St Pancras (measured via Kentish Town and Mortimer Street Junction) and is situated between Gospel Oak and Crouch Hill. It is operated by London Overground, and the service is one train every 15 minutes in each direction except late evenings when it is half-hourly. The line is now electrified, and services are operated by 4 car Class 710 EMUs. The station is a short walk along Holloway Road from Archway on the Northern line. This is currently the most convenient interchange between the two lines, given as 490 yards (450 m) on the tube map and maps inside London Overground trains.
