The Jardin Atlantique is a public park and garden located in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, on the roof that covers the tracks and platforms of the Gare Montparnasse railway station. It has an area of 3.4 hectares. It was created by the landscape architects Brun, Penna and Schnitzler, and opened in 1994.

Gare Montparnasse (French pronunciation: ​[ɡaʁ mɔ̃paʁnas]; Montparnasse station), officially Paris-Montparnasse, is one of the six large Paris railway termini, located in the 14th and 15th arrondissements. The station opened in 1840, was rebuilt in 1852 and relocated in 1969 to a new station just south of the original location – where subsequently the prominent Montparnasse Tower was constructed. It is a central element to the Montparnasse area. The original station is noted for the Montparnasse derailment, where a steam train crashed through the station in 1895, an event captured in widely known photographs – and reproduced in full scale in several locations.The station serves intercity TGV trains to the west and southwest of France including Tours, Bordeaux, Rennes and Nantes, and suburban and regional services on the Transilien Paris – Montparnasse routes. There is also a metro station. Gare Montparnasse is the only mainline terminus in Paris not directly connected to the RER system, though the Montparnasse main line is connected to the RER at Versailles-Chantiers and the LGV Atlantique at Massy Palaiseau.

The Pullman Paris Montparnasse Hotel is skyscraper hotel located near the Gare Montparnasse in the 14th arrondissement of Paris, France. With 953 rooms, it is the third-largest hotel in Paris after the Le Méridien Étoile and the Hyatt Regency Paris Étoile.

Tour Maine-Montparnasse (Maine-Montparnasse Tower), also commonly named Tour Montparnasse, is a 210-metre (689 ft) office skyscraper located in the Montparnasse area of Paris, France. Constructed from 1969 to 1973, it was the tallest skyscraper in France until 2011, when it was surpassed by the 231-metre (758 ft) Tour First. It remains the tallest building in Paris outside of the La Défense business district. As of February 2020, it is the 14th tallest building in the European Union. The tower was designed by architects Eugène Beaudouin, Urbain Cassan, and Louis Hoym de Marien and built by Campenon Bernard. On 21 September 2017, Nouvelle AOM won a competition to redesign the building's facade.

The Musée Bourdelle is an art museum located at 18, rue Antoine Bourdelle, in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, France, located in the old studio of French sculptor Antoine Bourdelle (1861–1929). The museum is open daily, except Mondays. Admission to the permanent collections is free. The nearest metro stations are Falguière and Montparnasse-Bienvenüe. The museum preserves the studio of sculptor Antoine Bourdelle and provides an example of Parisian ateliers from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It was Bourdelle's active studio from 1885–1929. In 1922, Bourdelle began plans to turn his studio into a museum. In the early 1930s Gabriel Cognacq provided funds to purchase the studio and thus avoid dispersing the artist's remaining works. The museum was inaugurated in 1949, expanded in 1961 by architect Henri Gautruche, and again in 1992 by Christian de Portzamparc. A second Bourdelle garden-museum, in Égreville, was established by his heirs in the late 1960s. It hosts another 56 of his sculptures. Today the museum contains more than 500 works including marble, plaster, and bronze statues, paintings, pastels, fresco sketches, and Bourdelle's personal collection of works by artists including Eugène Carrière, Eugène Delacroix, Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres, Adolphe Joseph Thomas Monticelli, Pierre Puvis de Chavannes, and Auguste Rodin. It contains the original plaster casts of some of his finest works including 21 studies of Ludwig van Beethoven, as well as document archives and his copies of Greek and medieval works. Since June 2012, the museum's visitors follow a different path through the permanent collections: educational, chronological and attuned to the work, highlighting Bourdelle's artistic evolution. Bourdelle Museum is one of the fourteen Museums of the City of Paris that have been incorporated since 1 January 2013 in the French public institution Paris Musées.

The Musée du Montparnasse was a museum at 21 Avenue du Maine, in the 15th arrondissement, Montparnasse Quarter of Paris, France. The museum closed in 2015.

Le Sphinx was a maison close (brothel) in Paris in the 1930s and 1940s. Along with the "Le Chabanais" and "One-Two-Two" it was considered one of the most luxurious and famous Parisian brothels.It was the first luxury brothel and opened on the left bank of Seine. Because of its location in the triangle of "literary" cafes (La Coupole, Rotonda and the Cafe du Dome in Montparnasse, it was popular with literary and artistic bohemians.

Gaîté (French pronunciation: ​[ɡɛte]) is a station on line Line 13 of the Paris Métro in the 14th arrondissement. The station opened on 21 January 1937 as part of the original line 14 between Bienvenüe and Porte de Vanves. This line became part of line 13 on 9 November 1976. The station is named after the Rue de la Gaîté, which was a country road connecting Clamart with the Barrière du Montparnasse, a gate in the Wall of the Farmers-General at the intersection of the Boulevard Edgar-Quinet and the Rue du Montparnasse (the location of Edgar Quinet station), built between 1784 and 1791 by the Ferme générale, the corporation of tax farmers, to enforce the collection of taxes of goods, including wine, imported into Paris. Guinguettes, restaurants and theatres were built outside the wall, so they could avoid these taxes. "Gaîté" is an old French spelling of "gaiety", reflecting this trade. In 2021, it is planned to rename the station Gaîté - Joséphine Baker after American-born French dancer, singer, actress and World War II spy Joséphine Baker.

The Théâtre de la Gaîté-Montparnasse is a venue situated at 26, rue de la Gaîté, in the Montparnasse quarter of Paris, in the 14th arrondissement. It opened in 1868 and seats 399 people. In addition to functioning as a popular café-concert venue for many decades, it evolved into a legitimate theatre, offering not only commercial plays but also, by the end of the nineteenth century, occasional new experimentalist plays of the Independent Theatre movement. One such effort was Paul Fort's Théâtre d'Art disappointing presentation, on 5 February 1892, of a French translation of Marlowe's The Tragical History of Doctor Faustus.

Bobino at 20 rue de la Gaîté, in the Montparnasse area of Paris (14th arrondissement), France, is a music hall theatre that has seen most of the biggest names of 20th century French music perform there. During its long history it was also known as Les Folies Bobino (1873), Studio Bobino (1991), Gaieté Bobino and Bobin’o (2007).

Falguière (French pronunciation: ​[falɡjɛʁ]) is a station on line 12 of the Paris Métro in the 15th arrondissement. The station opened on 5 November 1910 as part of the original section of the Nord-Sud Company's line A between Porte de Versailles and Notre-Dame-de-Lorette. On 27 March 1931 line A became line 12 of the Métro. It is named after the Rue Falguière. Alexandre Falguière (1831–1890) was a French sculptor and painter. The Necker-Enfants Malades Hospital (the first paediatric hospital in the world) is nearby.

La Comédie-Italienne is a theatre in the Montparnasse district of Paris, presenting Italian commedia dell'arte plays in French translation.The present-day Comédie-Italienne is situated at 19 rue de la Gaîté, where it was established in 1980 by the director Attilio Maggiulli, after the closing of his Teatrino Italiano, founded in 1975 on the avenue du Maine. The Comédie-Italienne remains the only Italian theatre in France and performs exclusively plays by Italian writers, classic and contemporary, in French translation.
