The Dabney was named one of the Best New Restaurants of 2016 by Bon Appétit magazine, it was a awarded a Michelin Star in 2017, and Chef Langhorne won the James Beard Award for Best Chef, Mid-Atlantic in 2018.

The Walter E. Washington Convention Center is a 2.3-million-square-foot (210,000 m2) convention center located in Washington, D.C., owned and operated by the city's convention arm, Events DC. Designed in a joint venture by the Atlanta-based architecture firm Thompson, Ventulett, Stainback & Associates, Washington, DC- based architects Devrouax & Purnell Architects Planners PC and Mariani and Associates, the convention center is located in a superblock bounded by Mount Vernon Square and 7th, 9th and N streets, N.W. It is served by the Mount Vernon Square station on the Yellow and Green lines of the Washington Metro. It was completed in 2003.

The archives hold the original wills of Dolley Madison, Francis Scott Key, Frederick Douglass, Henry Adams, Woodrow Wilson, Alexander Graham Bell and Louis D. Brandeis. It similarly preserves Mildred and Richard Loving's marriage certificate, Duke Ellington's birth certificate, and the Architectural registration for Chloethiel Woodard Smith.The state of the current records facility and operations has been described as "decrepit" and "overcrowded."

Marriott Marquis Washington, DC is a luxury hotel located on Massachusetts Avenue NW, in NW, Washington, D.C., United States. The hotel is connected to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center across 9th Street NW via an underground concourse. The Washington Marriott Marquis is considered a "convention center headquarters hotel", designed both to provide lodging for attendees at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center across the street, and to augment the convention center by providing smaller, more versatile meeting rooms. The hotel has 100,000 square feet (9,300 m2) of meeting room space, which includes a 30,000-square-foot (2,800 m2) main ballroom and two smaller 10,800-square-foot (1,000 m2) ballrooms. The operator is Marriott International. It opened on May 1, 2014, and has 1,175 rooms (which includes 49 suites), a lobby with multi-story atrium, and four dining outlets on the first floor. The hotel has 14 stories above ground, and four stories below.

Immaculate Conception Catholic Church is a historic Catholic parish located at 1315 8th Street NW in Washington, D.C. The church, school, rectory, and convent were placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003. The cornerstone of the original church, located on a lot near the corner of 8th and N Streets, Northwest took place on October 30, 1864. Martin John Spalding, Archbishop of Baltimore, dedicated the new church on July 2, 1865, the Feast of the Visitation. The parish rapidly outgrew this structure, however, and on November 13, 1870 the cornerstone for the present Gothic Revival church was laid, with construction commencing the following year. It was dedicated in 1874, at which time the old structure became the parish and school hall. The church was refurbished in 1939 and 1962–3.

The American Federation of Labor Building is a seven-story brick and limestone building located along Massachusetts Avenue in Washington, D.C. Completed in 1916, it served as the headquarters of the American Federation of Labor until 1955, when it merged with the Congress of Industrial Organizations to form the AFL-CIO. It remained a trade union headquarters until 2005, when it was sold to the developers of the Washington Marriott Marquis hotel. The building exterior, the only historical element remaining of the building, is now part of that structure. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1974. It housed the American Federation of Labor for 40 years.

The Samuel Gompers Memorial is a bronze statue in Washington, D.C., listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is located at the intersection of 10th Street, L Street, and Massachusetts Avenue, Northwest, Washington, D.C. The statue is in memory of Samuel Gompers, an English-born American cigar maker, labor union leader and a key figure in American labor history.

The Plymouth is a historic building in Washington, D.C., United States. It is in the Logan Circle-Shaw neighborhood in the Northwest Quadrant of the city. Frederick Atkinson designed the building in the Classical Revival style and it was completed in 1903. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Seventh Street Savings Bank is an historic structure located in the Shaw neighborhood of Washington, D.C. It has been listed on the District of Columbia Inventory of Historic Sites since 2002 and it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.
