Kilcoole (Irish: Cill Chomhghaill, meaning 'church of Comhghall') is a town in County Wicklow, Ireland. It is 3 kilometres (2 mi) south of Greystones, 14 kilometres (9 mi) north of Wicklow, and about 28 kilometres (20 mi) south of Dublin. It was used as a filming location for the Irish television series Glenroe, which ran through the 1980s and 1990s. The town has a large industrial estate to the south. An area of marshland runs along the coast from Kilcoole south to Wicklow town, called the Murragh. This area is home to many endangered species of plants and animals. The nearby beach is the summertime home of the little tern, one of the few places in Ireland where these birds nest. Within Kilcoole, is an area of flora known as the Rock which is a huge rock/hill that predates the Cambrian Period. Kilcoole is in the Roman Catholic parish of Kilquade and the local church, St. Anthony's Church, was opened in 1968.

The 2002 Seve Trophy golf tournament took place 19–21 April at Druids Glen, Newtownmountkennedy, County Wicklow, Ireland. The team captain for Great Britain and Ireland was Colin Montgomerie, with the captain for Continental Europe being Seve Ballesteros. The competition was won by Great Britain and Ireland.

Druid's Glen is a hotel and golf resort in Newtownmountkennedy, Republic of Ireland, situated about 35 kilometres (22 mi) south of Dublin in County Wicklow. The resort consists of the 5-star Druid's Glen Hotel & Country Club, two championship golf courses, and Woodstock House, the clubhouse at Druid's Glen.The "Druids Glen Golf Course", opened in 1995, and was the venue for the Irish Open between 1996 and 1999, and the 2002 Seve Trophy. The second course on the site is the "Druids Heath Golf Course", which opened in 2003 and has hosted 'the Irish PGA'.Druids Glen has now been reconstructed on HB studios The Golf Club Game on PS4, Xbox1 and PC via Steam in 2015.

Kilquade, historically Killcowade (Irish: Cill Chomhaid), is a townland and a Roman Catholic parish in north County Wicklow, Ireland. It lies between Kilpedder and Kilcoole, about one kilometre east of Junction 12 (Kilpedder) of the N11 national primary route. It is part of the barony of Newcastle and lies within both the civil parishes of Kilcoole and Newcastle Lower. The church, St. Patrick's, was rebuilt in 1802, refurbished in 2002-2003 and rededicated in 2004. Directly across the road from the church is the National Garden Exhibition Centre.

Charlesland (Irish: Acra na mBodach, meaning 'acre of the low-bred persons (or churls)') is a townland and residential development located on the southside of Greystones in County Wicklow, Ireland. It is about 25 kilometres from Dublin city centre. As of the 2011 census, the townland of Charlesland had a population of 3,130 people.

Kilcoole railway station (Irish: Stáisiún Chill Chomghaill) is a railway station in Kilcoole, County Wicklow, Ireland. The station serves the village of the same name and the nearby village of Newtownmountkennedy.

Ballyronan (Irish: Baile uí Rónáin) is a townland, located in County Wicklow, Ireland. Ballyronan is located south-east of the village of Kilpedder and north-east of the village of Newtownmountkennedy. The townland is bordered by Kilpedder West, Seaview and Kilpedder East to the north, Kilquade to the east, Ballygarret to the south and Mount Kennedy Demesne to the west. Today, it is considered a part of Kilpedder or Kilquade.

Newcastle (Irish: An Caisleán Nua) is a village in County Wicklow, Ireland. It is situated on the R761 and is about 45 km (28 mi) south of Dublin city. Newcastle had a population of 924 as of the 2016 census. The ancient barony of Newcastle, which surrounds the village, takes its name from the village and its Norman castle.

Éire Óg Greystones GAA Club is a Gaelic Athletic Association club with approximately 600 members and 20 different teams competing in Hurling, Gaelic Football, and Ladies Football in Wicklow League and Championship competitions. It comprises adult and juvenile sections. The majority of the clubs members are juveniles, both girls and boys, playing football and hurling. Some of the clubs most notable honours include football and hurling intermediate county championships in 2011 and 2013 respectively, a Leinster intermediate football championship and the club has also won the All Ireland Féile on two occasions in 2007 and 2016. Éire Óg Greystones have produced many superstars over the years who have represented their county and even country in both football and hurling. One of the most recent representatives goes by the name of Martin Joyce, who in 2018 represented Ireland in a hurling exhibition game against Brazil in Wembley stadium. Mr Joyce bagged a modest 7-16 on the day. The club is amongst the largest community sports club in Greystones, catering for men and women of all ages and also a growing social membership. A new clubhouse, to provide for the growing membership in the club and in the wider community, was under construction as of 2006.

Killincarrig (Irish: Coillín na Carraige, meaning 'little wood of the rock') is a village between Greystones and Delgany in North County Wicklow. It lies at the crossroads (now a mini-roundabout) of the R762 and the R761 roads. Like neighbouring Delgany it has been steadily built up over the past 40 years and now forms part of the continuous urban area of Greystones.

Delgany (Irish: Deilgne, meaning 'thorny place') is a small rural village in County Wicklow in Ireland, located on the R762 road which connects to the N11 road at the Glen of the Downs. It is about 25 km (16 mi) south of Dublin city centre. While it is an older more rural settlement, it is closely connected to the urban area of Greystones. The area is surrounded by wooded hills (including Kindlestown Wood) and the Glen of the Downs. Delgany has a Church of Ireland parish church which is associated with the nearby Delgany National School. It is also in the Roman Catholic parish of Kilquade and the parish church is in Kilquade about 4 km (2.5 mi) to the south. The local Catholic school is St Laurence's National School which is on Convent Road.
