Farnsworth Peak

Both stations share studios on West 1700 South in Salt Lake City, while KTVX's transmitter is located atop Farnsworth Peak in the Oquirrh Mountains. KTVX has a large network of broadcast translators that extend its over-the-air coverage throughout Utah, as well as portions of Idaho, Nevada and Wyoming.

The station is owned by the University of Utah, and has studios at the Eccles Broadcast Center on Wasatch Drive in the northeastern section of Salt Lake City; its transmitter is located on Farnsworth Peak in the Oquirrh Mountains, southwest of Salt Lake City. KUED has a large network of broadcast translators that extend its over-the-air coverage throughout Utah. Prior to July 2018, KUED was one of two PBS member stations serving Utah, the other being Provo-licensed KBYU-TV (channel 11), owned by Brigham Young University. In October 2017, it was announced that KBYU would drop PBS programming on June 30, 2018, in favor of its own BYUtv service, leaving KUED as the sole PBS station for the state.

KSL-TV (channel 5) is a television station in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States, affiliated with NBC. It is the flagship television property of locally based Bonneville International, the for-profit broadcasting arm of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church), and is sister to KSL radio (1160 AM and 102.7 FM). The three stations share studios at the Broadcast House building in Salt Lake City's Triad Center; KSL-TV's transmitter is located on Farnsworth Peak in the Oquirrh Mountains, southwest of Salt Lake City. The station has a large network of broadcast translators that extend its over-the-air coverage throughout Utah, as well as portions of Arizona, Idaho, Nevada and Wyoming. KSL-TV is one of a few for-profit U.S. television stations owned by a religious institution (most U.S. TV stations owned by religious institutions are affiliated with non-profit religious broadcasting networks).

KUTV (channel 2) is a television station in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States, affiliated with CBS. It is owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group alongside independent station KJZZ-TV (channel 14) and St. George–licensed MyNetworkTV affiliate KMYU (channel 12, formerly solely a satellite station of KUTV from its 1999 sign-on to 2008). The stations share studios on South Main Street in downtown Salt Lake City; KUTV's transmitter is located on Farnsworth Peak in the Oquirrh Mountains, southwest of Salt Lake City. KUTV's programming is relayed on KMYU's second digital subchannel (VHF digital channel 12.2, also mapped to 2.1) in high definition to serve the southern portion of the Salt Lake City market not covered by the KUTV broadcast signal; the station also has a large network of broadcast translators that extend its over-the-air coverage throughout Utah as well as portions of Nevada and Wyoming.

KUER-FM (90.1 MHz) is a public radio station in Salt Lake City, Utah. Owned by the University of Utah, its studios are located in the Eccles Broadcast Center on the University of Utah campus, while its transmitter is located on Farnsworth Peak, after relocating from Mount Vision in the Oquirrh Mountains in 2011. The station primarily carries National Public Radio programming and other syndicated content distributed by Public Radio International and American Public Media. It is also the producer of RadioWest, a local news discussion program focusing on Utah and the Western United States. KUER broadcasts in HD Radio; its second subchannel carries the BBC World Service, while its third channel carries classical music from American Public Media's Classical 24 service.

KSFI (100.3 FM) is a radio station in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. KSFI maintains studio facilities located at the KSL Broadcast House building in Salt Lake City's Triad Center (which also house KRSP-FM and the KSL-AM-FM-TV partners), and its transmitter is located on Farnsworth Peak in the Oquirrh Mountains, southwest of Salt Lake City.

KSVN-CD (channel 25) is a low-power television station licensed to Ogden, Utah, United States, serving Salt Lake City as an affiliate of Estrella TV. Founded on March 28, 1995, the station is currently owned by Bridge Media Networks. Unlike many low-powered stations, it is seen on channel 98 through Comcast cable in the Salt Lake City area in addition to its low powered signal.

KUUU (92.5 FM, "92.5 The Beat") is a radio station licensed to South Jordan, Utah, serving the Salt Lake City metropolitan area. Owned by Broadway Media, the station primarily broadcasts a Rhythmic adult contemporary format during the daytime hours, but transitions to a rhythmic contemporary-based playlist during the evening and overnight hours. The station's studios are located in Downtown Salt Lake City and its transmitter site is located southwest of the city on Farnsworth Peak in the Oquirrh Mountains. KUUU broadcasts in HD Radio, carrying simulcasts of sister stations KYMV and KEGA on its HD2 and HD3 subchannels. In turn, KUUU is simulcast on the HD3 subchannel of sister station KUDD.

KAAZ-FM (106.7 MHz, "Rock 106.7") is a mainstream rock formatted radio station broadcasting to the Salt Lake City metropolitan area. The station's city of license is Spanish Fork, Utah. The station is owned by iHeartMedia, Inc.. The station's studios are located in West Valley City and its transmitter site is located southwest of the city on Farnsworth Peak in the Oquirrh Mountains.
