Namhyeon-dong

Namtaeryeong Station is a station on Seoul Subway Line 4. It is operated by Seoul Metro.The name of this station literally means "great southern pass," referring to a passageway linking Seoul and Gwacheon, between Mt. Gwanak and Mt. Umyeon. Actually this name began from Choson Dynasty. King Jeong-Jo(정조), the 22nd King of Choson, had gone to Hwaseong Fortress, Suwon, where the Jeong-Jo's father was buried on. When Jeong-Jo came back to palace, he passed the hill named 'Fox Hill.' But King Jeong-Jo didn't know about this hill's name, and suddenly he saw one old man, so he asked to him "What is this hill's name?" So the old man answered "Oh lord! This hill's name is Namtaeryeong." However, the one vassal already knew what's this hill's real name; Fox Hill, so he contradict to old man and said "No! This hill's name is Fox Hill." So King Jeong-Jo was really wondered that why old man lied to him. So the old man said "Actually fox is very vicious and sly animal, so I couldn't say the real name to you, because you are the King of us, so I couldn't make a mess to your name, I decided to tell you the better name Namtaeryeong, which means 'Great Hill located on Southern part,' instead Fox Hill." So King Jeong-Jo was so impressed to old man, and decided to change that hill's name Fox Hill to Namtaeryeong. Most of the provincial railways in South Korea were built with Japanese expertise when Korea was under Japanese rule. Trains still run on the left hand side of the track on these railways. But the Seoul Subway, which was constructed much later in the 1970s, ran on the right hand track. Therefore, between Namtaeryeong and Seonbawi Stations, where the two lines connect, the underground tracks must cross over from right hand drive in Namtaeryeong to left hand drive in Seonbawi. It is an island platform with two lines on one side, and a screen door is installed. There are 4 exits.

Sadang Station is a station on the Seoul Subway Line 2 and Seoul Subway Line 4 in South Korea. Sadang Station has one island platform for Line 4 and two side platforms for Line 2. The Line 2 platforms of this station were the second in South Korea to have platform screen doors installed, after Yongdu Station and the first to be retrofitted on existing platforms, on October 21, 2005. Both platform levels are located in Sadang-dong, Dongjak-gu, Seoul.

Bangbae-dong is a dong, or neighbourhood of the greater Gangnam area Seocho-gu district of the South Korean city of Seoul. Bangbae-dong is divided into 5 different dongs which are Bangbaebon-dong, Bangbae 1-dong, 2-dong, 3-dong and 4-dong. The origin of Bangbae-dong is derived from the name Bangbae, meaning "dong-ri with my back to Mt. Myeon-ri," which rises on the border between Gwanak-gu and Seocho-gu. Bangbae-dong was Bangbae-ri, Sangbuk-myeon, Gwacheon-gun, Gyeonggi-do until the end of the Joseon Dynasty, but became Bangbae-ri, Sindong-myeon, Siheung-gun, Gyeonggi-do in 1914 when the area was confirmed during the Japanese colonial period. It was incorporated into the Seoul Metropolitan Government following the expansion of the Seoul Metropolitan Government's zone in 1963, and became Bangbae-dong to this day. The location is Dong at the western end of Seocho-gu, and it is an area from the intersection of the road from Seoul to Gwacheon City and the southern circulation road to Umyeon Mountain.

Nakseongdae Station (Korean pronunciation: [naks͈ʌŋdɛ]) is a station on Seoul Subway Line 2. This station is named after a nearby place called Nakseongdae (落星垈), which literally means 'the site of the fallen star' and is the birthplace of the great Goryeo general Gang Gam-chan, (which is also the second name of this station) best known for his heroics against an invading Khitan force in the Battle of Gwiju. This station is located in Bongcheon-dong, Gwanak-gu, Seoul.

Anguksa (Korean: 안국사) is a shrine located in Nakseongdae Park, Seoul, South Korea. It was built in 1973–74 to commemorate General Gang Gam-chan (948–1031). A memorial ceremony is held at the shrine every October to commemorate the general.

Naebang Station is a station on the Seoul Subway Line 7. To avoid confusion with Bangbae Station on Seoul Subway Line 2, the station was named as "inner (내, 內) of Bangbae-dong (방, 方)."
