Anguksa (Seoul)

Nakseongdae (Korean pronunciation: [naks͈ʌŋdɛ]; Korean: 낙성대; Hanja: 落星垈) is a park located in Gwanak, Seoul. It is the birthplace of General Gang Gamchan in Goryeo Dynasty.

Nakseongdae Station (Korean pronunciation: [naks͈ʌŋdɛ]) is a station on Seoul Subway Line 2. This station is named after a nearby place called Nakseongdae (落星垈), which literally means 'the site of the fallen star' and is the birthplace of the great Goryeo general Gang Gam-chan, (which is also the second name of this station) best known for his heroics against an invading Khitan force in the Battle of Gwiju. This station is located in Bongcheon-dong, Gwanak-gu, Seoul.

Seoul National University Gymnasium is an indoor sporting arena located in Seoul, South Korea. The capacity of the arena is 5,000 and was built in 1986 to host table tennis and badminton (demonstration) events at the 1988 Summer Olympics.

Bongcheon or Bongcheon-dong is a statutory division of Gwanak District, Seoul, South Korea. Its name means "enshrining heaven" which was derived from its location, northern skirt of Mt. Gwanak, stretching to the mountain ridge. It consists 9 administrative neighbourhoods. District office of Gwanak is located in Bongcheon.

Gwanak District (Gwanak-gu) is an administrative subdivision (gu) of Seoul, South Korea. It lies on the southern skirt of Seoul, bordering Anyang of Gyeonggi Province. The southern border of Gwanak-gu, bordering Anyang, consists of the craggy ridgeline of Gwanaksan (Mt. Gwanak), which dominates the local geography. Originally a part of Siheung, Gyeonggi, it was transferred to Seoul with the rapid expansion of the National Capital Area and its population growth in 1960s. Partitioned from Yeongdeungpo District and established as a district in 1973, it now neighbours the Seocho, Dongjak, Guro, and Geumcheon Districts, and exercises jurisdiction over 21 neighbourhoods (dong), with a population of 500,000.

Seoul National University School of Law (Korean: 서울대학교 법학전문대학원; SNU Law) is one of the professional graduate schools of Seoul National University, located in Seoul, South Korea. Established in 1895 as 'Popkwan Yangsungso' (법관양성소), it is oldest and most renowned law schools in South Korea. After legal education reform in 2009, it adopted the American model of 3-year law school system, and currently offers the J.D., J.S.D., LL.M., and Ph.D. degrees in law. Due to the establishment of the graduate J.D. program, the law school no longer admits undergraduate law students. The LL.B. program will be gradually phased out in favor of the Law School's graduate programs. SNU Law currently enrolls 150 students in each class of the J.D. program.

Seoul National University Station is a station on Seoul Subway Line 2, located in Bongcheon-dong, Gwanak-gu of southern Seoul. This station is also known as Gwanak-gu Office Station. There are eight exits, two at each corner of the crossroads – of Nambu Beltway (Nambusunhwan-ro) and Gwanak-ro – where the station lies beneath. Seoul National University Station has one curved island platform, which is wide in the middle and narrow at both ends. The platform screen doors were installed for both tracks by 2006. Escalators are available between the platform and the waiting/ticketing area. Despite being named the Seoul National University Station, Seoul National University is actually approximately 1.75 kilometers south of the station; it typically takes more than thirty minutes to reach the university on foot from the station. In The Amazing Race 4, teams had to find this station (which was labeled only as Station 228) to obtain the next route marker.

The Kyujanggak, also known as Gyujanggak, was the royal library of the Joseon Dynasty. It was founded in 1776 by order of King Jeongjo of Joseon (as a major policy arm of his government), at which time it was located on the grounds of Changdeokgung Palace. Today known as Kyujanggak Royal Library, the Kyujanggak Archives are maintained by Kyujanggak Institute for Korean Studies at the Seoul National University, located in Sillim-dong, Gwanak-gu in Seoul. The archive functions as a key repository of Korean historical records and a centre for research and publication of an annual journal titled Kyujanggak.

Seoul National University (SNU; Korean: 서울대학교; lit. Seoul University) is a public research university located in Seoul, South Korea. It is one of the SKY universities and a part of the Flagship Korean National Universities.The university's main campus is located in Gwanak, and two additional campuses are located in Daehangno and Pyeongchang. The university comprises sixteen colleges, one graduate school and nine professional schools. The student body consists of nearly 17,000 undergraduate and 11,000 graduate students.

Hallym University (한림대학교) is a private university located in Chuncheon, Gangwon, Republic of Korea. Hallym University was established in 1982. In 1995 it was designated by the Ministry of Education as one of a handful of universities entitled to receive the financial support of the Ministry for their specialization programs. After that, it continued to be so designated consecutively for five years. In addition, it has acquired the status of "distinguished university," the title granted by the Ministry of Education, three years in a row, and has also been selected for funding by the Brain Korea 21 Project.

Gwanaksan Station (Korean: 관악산역) is a subway station on the Sillim Line in Gwanak-gu, Seoul. It will be a transfer station with the Seoul Light Rail West Line in the future. From this station to Saetgang Station, all stations are underground. There are two late-night trains that stay at the station overnight.
