Stallworth Stadium is a stadium in Baytown, Texas. It is primarily used for American football and soccer and is the home field of Robert E. Lee High School, Ross S. Sterling High School, and Goose Creek Memorial High School. All three schools are in the Goose Creek Consolidated Independent School District. The stadium holds 16,500 people and opened in 1969 when Memorial Stadium (now Sultis Stadium) on the Robert E. Lee campus became too small. Stallworth Stadium is on a neutral site and not on any of the three campuses in GCCISD. On October 29, 1976, President Gerald Ford attended a game between the Robert E. Lee Ganders and the Aldine-McArthur Generals. The President, on the campaign trail in Houston, stayed long enough to see the Ganders reach a 21–0 lead over the Generals en route to a 34–0 victory. In addition, the Bayou Bowl, a high school all-star game between players from Louisiana and Texas, takes place annually at the venue. Starting in 2006, the stadium is occasionally used for middle school football games. The stadium was also the home of the Baytown chapter of The American Cancer Society's Bay Area Relay for Life until it moved to Royal Purple Raceway, due to the GCCISD bus barn in the stadium's parking lot. Baytown Christian Academy is a private Christian primary and secondary school located in Baytown, Texas. The school's administrative offices and campus are together. The school was established in 1979.

Ross S. Sterling High School is a public high school located in Baytown, Texas and classified as a 6A school by the UIL. Sterling is a part of the Goose Creek Consolidated Independent School District which covers southeastern Harris County. The school was built in 1966 to accommodate the growing population of Baytown. It is named after Ross S. Sterling, co-founder of Humble Oil (now part of ExxonMobil) and 31st Governor of Texas. The campus has over 400,000 square feet (37,000 m2) and is built on 86.32 acres (349,300 m2). In 2015, the school was rated "Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency.Sections of the city of Baytown are zoned to Sterling High School. Previously, sections of Highlands were until the Goose Creek Memorial High School was built in 2008.

San Jacinto Mall was a regional shopping mall located in Baytown, Texas, United States. It was last managed by Fidelis Realty Partners. The mall had a gross leasable area of 1,156,000 sq ft (107,400 m2). The mall ceased operations on January 4, 2020 and will be redeveloped into an outdoor shopping destination. The first phase is due to open in November 2020. The mall was anchored by Sears, JCPenney, Macy's, Montgomery Ward, Mervyn's, Service Merchandise, Bealls, Palais Royal, and Marshalls.

Lee College is a public community college in Baytown, Texas. Lee College's main campus occupies 40 acres (160,000 m2) near downtown Baytown and extension campuses throughout its service area. The school has an enrollment of over 7,773 total students as of Fall 2018. Approximately 83% are part-time students, and about 17% are enrolled full-time. The college offers over 60 academic, technical education, and non-credit continuing education programs.

The district has 16 elementary schools, 5 junior high schools (6-8), 4 high schools (9-12), a career center, and two alternative centers for education. The district serves all of Baytown, Highlands, Coady, McNair, outlying areas of East Harris County, and a small portion of West Chambers County. The district has a total enrollment of 23,765 students and 1,534 staff. The district's total actual budget for 2019-2020 is US$293.9 million.In 2009, the school district was rated "academically acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency.

George Washington Carver High School was a public secondary school in Baytown, Texas. It served as the high school for Black students until the public schools in the area were desegregated.

Robert E. Lee High School is a public high school in Baytown, Texas, that serves grades 9 through 12. It was opened as a segregated school, and named after Confederate Army commander Robert E. Lee. Lee is one of four high schools in the Goose Creek Consolidated Independent School District. The building is a Texas historic landmark.
