Monmouth Beach is a borough in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough's population was 3,279, reflecting a decline of 316 (-8.8%) from the 3,595 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 292 (+8.8%) from the 3,303 counted in the 1990 Census.

Galilee is an unincorporated community located within Monmouth Beach in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. The area is named for the Biblical city of Galilee and was founded as a fishing village. Located at the northern extent of Monmouth Beach, it is located along the peninsula where it begins to greatly narrow between the Shrewsbury River and the Atlantic Ocean. Single family homes typically make up the ocean side of the peninsula while condominiums and a marina are located on the river side. The Sea Bright–Monmouth Beach Seawall passes through the community and continues to neighboring Sea Bright.

North Long Branch is an unincorporated community located within Long Branch in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. The community is situated in the northern portion of the city and is physically located between Troutmans Creek and Ocean Boulevard. Centered about the intersection of Joline Avenue (New Jersey Route 36) and Long Branch Avenue, most of the area is made up of single-family houses except for some schools, apartment complexes, and the city's sewage treatment plant.

Seven Presidents Park is an oceanfront park in the city of Long Branch, New Jersey, USA, maintained by the Monmouth County Park System. It is named after U.S. Presidents Ulysses S. Grant, Rutherford B. Hayes, James A. Garfield, Chester A. Arthur, Benjamin Harrison, William McKinley, and Woodrow Wilson, all of whom spent time in the area's resorts. President Grant declared Long Branch the nation's "Summer Capital" in 1869.The park, which includes a mile of public beach and 38 acres (150,000 m2) of land, allows swimming and surfing and also contains a snack bar, sheltered eating areas, a volleyball court, showers and changing facilities, a universal-access playground, a park and rink for skaters and skateboarders, and protected sand dunes. The inclusive playground, Tony's Place, won the 2011-12 NJ Park and Recreation Association's Excellence in Design Award. In addition, it hosts the Monmouth County Park System's annual Sprint Triathlon—combining swimming, cycling and running—in September. Seven Presidents Park charges an admissions fee from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend, although seasonal and multi-day passes are available.Seven Presidents Park is a protected ecological habitat. The dunes offer a natural habitat for birds and plants, while protecting the beach against large storms. The Park System constantly plants erosion-fighting beach grass to reinforce the dunes and takes other protective measures to sustain the environment. Two threatened or endangered birds, the Least Tern and Piping Plover, now breed there.Many other species of birds can be seen in the park. Seaducks, loons, gannets, gulls and alcids frequent the beaches. Especially common are the razorbill, the surf scoter, the black scoter, the long-tailed duck, the red-throated loon, the common loon, and the lesser black-backed gull. Brant geese, including the occasional black brant, can sometimes be seen at the athletic fields in foul weather. A flock of Bonaparte's gulls inhabits the park in winter. Farther inland, orange-crowned warblers, white-winged crossbills and red crossbills have been reported. Other birds found in the park have been white-winged gulls, little gulls, black-headed gulls, the sooty shearwater, the black-legged kittiwake, the parasitic jaeger, the vesper sparrow and the snow bunting.In the late 19th century, Seven Presidents Park was the location of Long Branch businessman Nate Salsbury's Buffalo Bill Wild West Show, which included performers Buffalo Bill Cody, Annie Oakley and Chief Sitting Bull.Locals have been surfing at Seven President's Park for decades as it was one of the first locations on the Jersey Shore that allowed surfing. The Kiernan Surfing Association, a group of local surfers, brokered a deal with the property owner so the surfers would not be pulled out of the water by the Long Branch police.

East Long Branch is a neighborhood in Long Branch in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. It is located in the northern portion of the city along the Atlantic Ocean coastline. Major roads through the area include Joline Avenue and Ocean Boulevard, both of which are parts of New Jersey Route 36. Homes consisting of single-family houses and condominiums are located throughout the area and the county-maintained Seven Presidents Park is located within East Long Branch.

The Shrewsbury River is a short stream and navigable estuary, approximately 8 mi (13 km) long, in central New Jersey in the United States. It extends ENE from its head of navigation at Oceanport to its confluence with the Navesink River estuary, then entering 1 mi (1.6 km) north in a narrow channel to Sandy Hook Bay at Highlands. The south shore runs about the entire length of the northern border of Long Branch. The estuary is protected from the open Atlantic Ocean on its eastern side by a long barrier peninsula that extends north to become Sandy Hook. Jersey Shore resort communities on the peninsula include Monmouth Beach and Sea Bright. On the inner side of the estuary, the bedroom community of Rumson on the end of the peninsula, separating the Shrewsbury and Navesink estuaries, is among the wealthiest communities in the United States. The estuary provides a popular marina for pleasure craft and recreational fishing. Marine species like Fluke (summer flounder), striped bass, bluefish and weakfish are popular fish targeted by local anglers.

Branchport is an unincorporated community located within Long Branch in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. Centered in the northern part of the city, the area contains mostly single-family homes along grid-like streets though some commercial businesses are located on New Jersey Route 36 which through Branchport is called Joline Avenue. The North Jersey Coast Line passes through the community though the closest stops along the line are the Monmouth Park station in Oceanport and the Long Branch station in the center of the city.

The Shore Institute of the Contemporary Arts (SICA) was a non-profit arts center in Asbury Park, New Jersey. It was previously located in Long Branch, New Jersey, United States, located in the former Lincon Can Manufacturing building. Founded in 2000, the physical institute was officially opened in 2004. SICA had a gallery, a cafe, artists studios and classrooms. The cafe hosted local bands, film screenings, meetings and performances. SICA offered artists instruction and speakers as well as yoga classes. They also held the yearly ArtX performance event. The Institute has closed as of December 2012.

Port-au-peck is an unincorporated community located within Oceanport in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. The name Port-Au-Peck comes from the Lenape name Pootapeck. The land was "sold" to English interests in 1670; however, it is unclear how fair this land transfer was or if the local residents were aware they were giving away their hunting and fishing rights in the transfer.
