Trinity Episcopal Church is an Episcopal church located in Columbus, Georgia.

The Flowers Building is a historic building constructed in 1902 in Columbus, Georgia. Its Chicago style design is by architect T. Firth Lockwood. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. It has also been known as the Flowers Building.It is a four-story Chicago school-style commercial building. The building was deemed significant "as a turn-of-the-century Masonic Temple, which later became a major commercial center in downtown Columbus, housing offices of leading professionals and businessmen", and as "the only example of the Chicago Commercial building in town. It is Sullivanesque in the use of the tall vertical pilasters and over all upward thrust of the facades. It also shows some influence of John Wellborn Root in its Romanesque detailing, such as the granite piers on the first floor, the rounded arches on the 3rd floor, and the heavy cornice on the parapet."The building was constructed in 1902 as meeting hall for local Masonic lodges (with commercial retail and office space rented on the floors not occupied by the Masons). The Masons sold the building to a Mr. Flowers in 1940 and moved to the Columbus Masonic Center, 1127 2nd Ave, Columbus, GA . Under his ownership it was used as an office building. Miller & Gallman Developers later converted it into an apartment complex.Columbian Lodge (as an organization) was chartered in 1828.

Church Square is a city block in downtown Columbus, Georgia home to two churches: First Baptist Church of Columbus and St. Luke United Methodist Church. The block, located between 2nd and 3rd Avenues and 11th and 12th Streets, is significant because it is the only remaining square designated for church use by Edward Lloyd Thomas, who surveyed the area in 1828 and drew up the original city plan. The square was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on December 2, 1980.

First Presbyterian Church is a historic church at 1100 1st Avenue in Columbus, Georgia. The church is affiliated with the PCUSA. Its building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.The congregation had worshipped in two previous church buildings before having its current building built, at cost of more than $30,000. It was dedicated in 1862. The building was damaged by fire in November 1891 but was fully restored by February 1893.It was listed on the National Register along with other historic properties identified in a large survey.

YMCA in Columbus, Georgia, located at 124 11th St., was built in 1903. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.It is a building of YMCA of Metropolitan Columbus. It is a three-story building, Classical Revival in style. It was funded by donation from George Foster Peabody and was believed to be the only marble YMCA building in America.

Swift-Kyle House, also known as the Swift Mansion and Billings House, is a historic residence in Columbus, Georgia. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 11, 1973. It is located at 303 12th Street and 3rd Avenue. George Parker Swift and his daughter and son-in-law owned the mansion which dates from the antebellum period. It dates to 1857 and was remodeled after a roof fire in 1898 Adelaide and Hames P. Kyle also owned the home. It was a residence until 1956 and has also been used by the Columbus Travel Bureau.

The Thomas U. Butts House, at 1214 3rd Ave. in Columbus, Georgia, was built in 1896 and was extensively renovated into Prairie School style in 1928. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.It is a two-story balloon frame house with a clay tile hipped roof and two exterior chimneys. Originally showing a weatherboarded exterior, the house's 1928 renovation covered the weatherboarding with brick laid in stretcher bond. It has a central entrance with a Classical Revival-styled porch.It was built for W. I. Struppa, a purser who lived there until 1904. It was sold in 1908 to Thomas Usher Butts, "a wizard of the lumber business", who raised his family there; descendants occupied the home until 1959.Its National Register listing was within a batch of numerous Columbus properties determined to be eligible consistent with a 1980 study of historic resources in Columbus.

The Church of the Holy Family is a Catholic Church located in Downtown Columbus, Georgia that was built in 1880. The Catholic church in Columbus had outgrown its original church built in 1829. The church's architect/builder, Daniel Matthew Foley, had designed 16 other churches before coming to Columbus to design this church. It is the only Gothic Revival church in Columbus and "is an architectural as well as religious anchor point in the community."It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.It was listed on the National Register along with other historic properties identified in a large survey.

The Harrison-Gibson House, at 309 11th St. in Columbus, Georgia, was built around 1896. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.It is a two-story Victorian Gothic-style house with hipped and gable roof.It was deemed significant partly for association with persons who lived there: it "was the home of Joseph Harrison, a salesman of shoes and boots, from 1896-1900. Also, this was the home of Carleton B. Gibson, who was superintendent of Columbus' public schools and who was largely responsible for the founding of Columbus' Industrial High School (in 1906) — the first of its kind in the United States. The purpose of the Industrial School was to provide the children whose parents worked in nearbv cottonmills with an academic trade school of high school ranking."

The Springer Opera House is a historic theater at 103 Tenth Street in Downtown Columbus, Georgia. First opened February 21, 1871, the theater was named the State Theatre of Georgia by Governor Jimmy Carter for its 100th anniversary season, a designation made permanent by the 1992 state legislature. The Springer has hosted legendary performers such as Edwin Booth, Oscar Wilde, Ethel Barrymore, Agnes de Mille, and bandleader John Philip Sousa. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1970 and named a National Historic Landmark in 1978 for its architecture and state of preservation.

St. Luke School is a K–8 private, coeducational, college-preparatory day school located in Columbus, Georgia, United States. The school was established in 1998 by members of St. Luke Church. St. Luke School is accredited by AdvancED/Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).

Broad Street Methodist Episcopal Church South ("Old" Broad Street Methodist Episcopal Church South) in Columbus, Georgia is a historic church built in 1873. It is one of the oldest buildings on Broadway (Columbus's main street) and is as the only Greek Revival church building surviving in Columbus. It has pilasters with corbelled brick capitals.It was added to the National Register in 1980.It was home of the Columbus Ledger newspaper from 1915 to 1931.It was listed on the National Register along with other historic properties identified in a large survey.
