Zhongshan Hospital (simplified Chinese: 中山医院; traditional Chinese: 中山醫院), formerly Chung Shan Memorial Hospital, is a major teaching hospital in Shanghai, China, affiliated with the Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University.

West Yan'an Road (Chinese: 延安西路; pinyin: Yán'ān Xī Lù) is the name of an interchange station between Lines 3 and 4 on the Shanghai Metro network. The station is named after Yan'an Road, and opened on 26 December 2000 as part of the initial section of Line 3 from Shanghai South Railway Station to Jiangwan Town, and Line 4 service began here on the final day of 2005.During the 2021 Shanghai People’s Congress deputies suggested to change the station name to Donghua University. “Names of Metro stations should give voice to the city’s cultural and historical landmarks, of which universities are surely a part,” said Wang Hongzhi, vice dean of the College of Materials Science and Engineering at Donghua University. “It should become a rule that Metro stations located near universities are named after the institutions.”

Changning District (Chinese: 长宁区; pinyin: Chángníng Qū) is a district of Shanghai. It has a land area of 37.19 square kilometres (14.36 sq mi) and had a population of 620,000 as of 2003. The district government is located at 1320 Yuyuan Rd. Zhongshan Park is located in the district.

Jiao Tong University (simplified Chinese: 交通大学; traditional Chinese: 交通大學; pinyin: Jiāotōng Dàxué) is an interchange station between Line 10 and Line 11 of the Shanghai Metro. The station entered operation in April 2010.The famous Shanghai Jiao Tong University is located near the station, thus giving the station its name.

The Propaganda Poster Art Centre (Chinese: 上海宣传画艺术中心; pinyin: Shànghǎi Xuānchuánhuà Yìshù Zhōngxīn or simplified Chinese: 上海杨培明宣传画收藏艺术馆; traditional Chinese: 上海楊培明宣傳畫收藏藝術舘; pinyin: Shànghǎi Yáng Péi Míng Xuānchuánhuà Shōucáng Yìshù Guǎn) is a museum located in Shanghai which exhibits posters from the Maoist period of communist China, especially from the Cultural Revolution period. The museum was located in the basement of an apartment building in Huashan Road facing Wukang Road, in the former French Concession area until 2019 when it relocated to an office building on Yan'an West Road. It has a rich collection of rare last-piece posters. The owner of the museum, Mr. Yang Pei Ming, is keeping the posters as they are to be seen as an art form. He started collecting the posters as a hobby in 1995, and he wants to preserve the posters for the future. The museum is visited mainly by tourists, as it is listed in guides such as Lonely Planet and Frommers.

The Shanghai Changning Children's Palace (Chinese: 长宁区少年宫) is located at Number 31, Lane 1136, Yuyuan Rd in the Changning District of Shanghai, China. It was originally built for Wang Boqun, former Minister of Communications, including transportation, post, bank, and education, for the Kuomintang. The large 40-room mansion was built from 1932–1934 in the Victorian Gothic style. The house is currently used as a community children's center for art, music, and dance classes.

Jiangsu Road (simplified Chinese: 江苏路; traditional Chinese: 江蘇路; pinyin: Jiāngsū Lù) is the name of a station on lines 2 and 11 of the Shanghai Metro. This is one of the stations that can refund the 20RMB deposit for the Shanghai Public Transportation Card.This station is part of the initial section of Line 2 that opened from Zhongshan Park to Longyang Road that opened on 20 September 1999, and also served as the southeast terminus of Line 11 from the line's opening on the last day of 2009 until 31 August 2013, when the second phase to Luoshan Road opened.

Zhongshan Park (simplified Chinese: 中山公园; traditional Chinese: 中山公園; pinyin: Zhōngshān Gōngyuán) is the name of an interchange station between Lines 2, 3 and 4 on the Shanghai Metro, named after Shanghai's largest commercial park which is located nearby. This station served as the western terminus of Line 2 from the line's opening on 20 September 1999 until the first westward extension to Songhong Road opened on December 30, 2006. The interchanges with Lines 3 and 4 opened on 27 December 2000 and the final day of 2005, respectively, and are part of both lines' initial sections. Immediately to the northeast of the station is the Cloud Nine shopping mall, visible from the elevated Lines 3 and 4.

The C. Y. Tung Maritime Museum (董浩云航运博物馆 Dǒng Hàoyún Hángyùn Bówùguǎn) is located in the Shanghai Jiao Tong University in Shanghai, China.

The Frédéric Chopin Memorial is a bronze sculpture in Shanghai, China, in the Zhongshan Park, within the Changning district. It is dedicated to Frédéric Chopin, a 19th-century composer and virtuoso pianist of the Romantic period. It was designed by Lu Pin, and unveiled on 3 March 2007.

Shanghai Nanyang Model High School (Chinese: 上海南洋模范中学), often referred to simply as Nanmo (Chinese: 南模), is one of the oldest modern Chinese schools, founded in 1901 by Sheng Xuanhuai, Minister of Transportation of the Qing Dynasty. As "the beginning of public elementary schools", the school started as the Affiliated Elementary School of Nanyang Public School (now Shanghai Jiaotong University). Shanghai No. 3 Girls' High School (Chinese: 上海市第三女子中学) is a key public all-female high school in Shanghai, China. The predecessors of the school were St. Mary's Hall, established in 1881, and McTyeire School, established in 1892. In 1952, these two schools were taken over by the People's Government of Shanghai and merged into "Shanghai No. 3 Girls' High School". Heidi Ross, author of "Historical Memory, Community Service, Hope: Reclaiming the Social Purposes of Education for the Shanghai McTyeire Schools for Girls," noted that McTyeire had a reputation for being elitist and privileged. She added that the school provided a sense of stability and isolation from problems during World War II.
