The Roman Catholic Diocese of Celje (Latin: Dioecesis Celeiensis; Slovene: Škofija Celje) is a diocese located in the city of Celje in the Ecclesiastical province of Maribor in Slovenia.

Stari Pisker (meaning in colloquial Slovene: an old pot) is a former prison in Celje, Slovenia. During World War II the German occupation forces committed many war crimes in the city and 374 hostages were executed at the Stari Pisker Prison in 1944. The prison once underwent an inspection by Heinrich Himmler.In 1965 the prison was reopened as a memorial site, with a memorial room in what was once the torture chamber and the courtyard adapted for remembrance.It underwent a renovation in 1995.

Karel Destovnik Kajuh is a district (Slovene mestna četrt) of the City Municipality of Celje and a neighborhood of the city of Celje in Slovenia. It was named after the Slovene Partisan hero Karel Destovnik, a.k.a. Kajuh.

The Celje First Grammar School (Slovene: I. gimnazija v Celju) is a coeducational nondenominational state secondary general education school for students aged between 15 and 19 in Celje, Slovenia. It was the first high school built in the region, established in 1808 by the Austrian Empire. Initially, the language of instruction was only German, although the great majority of the pupils came from the Slovene Lands. In 1895, the first classes with Slovene as the language of instruction were established. German nationalists in Austria-Hungary fiercely opposed this move, which resulted in a government crisis and fall of the cabinet of prince Alfred III. zu Windisch-Grätz. After the end of World War I and the formation of the State of Slovenes, Croats and Serbs (later Kingdom of Yugoslavia), the high school switched to Slovene as the language of instruction. During its 200-year history, many of its pupils have become prominent individuals.

It has branches in Celje and Ljubljana. Its building was designed by Slovene architect Jože Plečnik and was built between 1928 and 1929.

The Celje Post Office (Slovene: Pošta Celje) is the administrative post office in the city of Celje, Slovenia. Celje used the post number 63000 between 1945 and 1991. Since 1991, when Slovenia became independent, it uses the number SI-3000.The building of the Celje Post Office stands at 9 Krek Square. It was built in the neo-Renaissance style in 1898 upon the plans by Bureau für Postbauten company from Vienna. It is protected as a local cultural monument.

The City Municipality of Celje (pronounced [ˈtsɛ̀ːljɛ] (listen); Slovene: Mestna občina Celje) is one of twelve city municipalities in Slovenia. Its seat is the city of Celje, a regional center of Styria.
