Shanghai Tower

Shanghai International Finance Center, usually abbreviated as Shanghai IFC, is a commercial building complex and a shopping center (branded Shanghai IFC mall was officially opened to public on 28 April 2010) located at 8 Century Avenue, Lujiazui, Pudong, Shanghai, China. It incorporates two tower blocks at 249.9 metres (820 ft) (south tower) and 259.9 metres (853 ft) (north tower) housing offices and a hotel, and an 85-metre (279 ft) tall multi-storey building behind and between the two towers. Shanghai IFC is located in Lujiazui, in Pudong, Shanghai. It occupies a prominent position southeast of the Lujiazui roundabout, diagonally across from the Oriental Pearl Tower and across the road from Super Brand Mall. It is adjacent to Lujiazui Station on Metro Line 2, and can be accessed directly from the underground station via a tunnel. The south tower of Shanghai IFC and part of the multistorey building was completed in 2009, while the north tower and the rest of the complex was completed in 2010. Work continued for several years afterwards on peripheral aspects of the development, including landscaping and footbridge connections to nearby buildings and Lujiazui Central Park. The Ritz-Carlton Hotel occupies the south tower, while the north tower houses the Shanghai headquarters of HSBC in China. Other prominent tenants of the complex include an Apple Store under the sunken forecourt of the building (topped by a cylindrical glass skylight rising from the forecourt), a multi-screen cinema, and a Citysuper supermarket. The remainder of the retail area is largely taken up by upscale chain restaurants and international luxury fashion brands. Shanghai IFC, like its sister project the International Finance Centre in Hong Kong, was developed by Sun Hung Kai Properties. Shanghai International Financial Center was officially opening ceremony by China's top leader, General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party's Hu Jintao on New Year's Day 2011.

The Jin Mao Tower (simplified Chinese: 金茂大厦; traditional Chinese: 金茂大廈; pinyin: Jīnmào Dàshà; Shanghainese: Cinmo Dusa; lit. 'Golden Prosperity Building'), also known as the Jinmao Building or Jinmao Tower, is a 420.5-meter-tall (1,380 ft), 88-story (93 if counting the floors in the spire) landmark skyscraper in Lujiazui, Pudong, Shanghai, China. It contains a shopping mall, offices and the Grand Hyatt Shanghai hotel which starts from the 53rd floor, which at the time of completion was the highest hotel in the world. Along with the Oriental Pearl Tower, the Shanghai World Financial Center and the Shanghai Tower it is part of the Lujiazui skyline seen from the Bund. It was the tallest building in China from its completion in 1999 until 2007, when it was surpassed by the Shanghai World Financial Center which is located close by. The Shanghai Tower, a 128-story building located next to these two buildings, surpassed the height of both these buildings in 2015, creating the world's first trio of adjacent supertall skyscrapers.

BEA Finance Tower is a 198-metre skyscraper in Lujiazui, Shanghai. Bank of East Asia locates its Mainland China headquarter here, with lower levels for other companies. The building is formerly called Gaobao Finance Tower, but later changed its name at the end of 2008.

The Shanghai World Financial Center (SWFC; Chinese: 上海环球金融中心; pinyin: Shànghǎi Huánqiú Jīnróng Zhōngxīn, Shanghainese: Zånhae Guejieu Cinyon Tsonsin) is a supertall skyscraper located in the Pudong district of Shanghai. It was designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox and developed by the Mori Building Company, with Leslie E. Robertson Associates as its structural engineer and China State Construction Engineering Corp and Shanghai Construction (Group) General Co. as its main contractor. It is a mixed-use skyscraper, consisting of offices, hotels, conference rooms, observation decks, ground-floor shopping malls. Park Hyatt Shanghai is the tower's hotel component, comprising 174 rooms and suites occupying the 79th to the 93rd floors, which at the time of completion was the highest hotel in the world. It is now the third-highest hotel in the world after the Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong, which occupies floors 102 to 118 of the International Commerce Centre. On 14 September 2007, the skyscraper was topped out at 492 meters (1,614.2 ft), making it the 2nd tallest building in the world on completion (the tallest at the time being Taipei 101), the tallest building in the world by roof height only, and the tallest in China. The SWFC opened to the public on 28 August 2008, with its observation deck opening on 30 August. The observation deck offers views from 474 m (1,555 ft) above ground level. The SWFC has been lauded for its design, and in 2008 it was named by architects as the year's best-completed skyscraper. In 2013, the SWFC was exceeded in height by the adjacent Shanghai Tower, which is China's tallest structure as of 2023. Together, The Shanghai World Financial Center, The Shanghai Tower and The Jin Mao Tower form the world's first adjacent grouping of three supertall skyscrapers.

Super Brand Mall is a major Shanghainese shopping center. Set in the prime location of Lujiazui Finance and Trade Zone, Super Brand Mall has views of Shanghai's famous Bund. As a large scale, international urban family-oriented entertainment and shopping center developed by Shanghai Kinghill Limited, a subsidiary of the Charoen Pokphand Group of Thailand, Super Brand Mall has 13 floors, with a total gross floor area of app. 250,000 m2 (2,700,000 sq ft). The mall has received ISO9001 certification since 2004.

Lujiazui (simplified Chinese: 陆家嘴; traditional Chinese: 陸家嘴; pinyin: Lùjiāzuǐ) is a station on Line 2 and 14 of the Shanghai Metro rapid transit system, situated in the middle of the financial district of Lujiazui. This station is the first stop in Pudong going east towards Pudong International Airport, and is part of the initial section of Line 2 that opened from Zhongshan Park to Longyang Road that opened on 20 September 1999. The station later became an interchange on December 30, 2021 after the opening of Line 14. Being at the centre of Lujiazui, the station is of significance to the area.

Pudong International Information Port (Chinese: 浦东国际信息港) is a steel skyscraper in the Lujiazui financial district of Shanghai, China. It stands at 211 metres tall with 41 floors above ground and 4 floors of basement. The high-rise covers a total surface area of 103,442 m². The commercial smart building was finished in 2001. Currently, it is used for office, communication, conference, parking garage and dining purposes.

The Citigroup Tower is a 180 m, 42 storey high skyscraper in the Pudong financial district of Shanghai, China, completed in 2005. It is the headquarters building of the Citibank (China) Company Limited. This is on the list as the 7th largest video-capable screens in the world.

Pudong (浦东) is a district of Shanghai located east of the Huangpu River across from the historic city center of Shanghai in Puxi. The name refers to its historic position as "The East Bank" of the Huangpu River, which flows through central Shanghai, although it is now administered as the Pudong New Area, a state-level new area which extends all the way to the East China Sea. The traditional area of Pudong is now home to the Lujiazui Finance and Trade Zone and the Shanghai Stock Exchange and many of Shanghai's best-known buildings, such as the Oriental Pearl Tower, the Jin Mao Tower, the Shanghai World Financial Center, and the Shanghai Tower. These modern skyscrapers directly face Puxi's historic Bund, a remnant of former foreign concessions in China. The rest of the new area includes the Port of Shanghai, the Shanghai Expo and Century Park, Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park, Shanghai Pudong International Airport, the Jiuduansha Wetland Nature Reserve, Nanhui New City, and the Shanghai Disney Resort.

Chenxiang Pavilion or Chenxiangge Nunnery (simplified Chinese: 沉香阁; traditional Chinese: 沉香閣; pinyin: Chénxiāng Gé) is a Buddhist temple located in the Huangpu District of Shanghai. Now it is a Bhikkhuni temple.

The Shanghai Bank of China Tower (simplified Chinese: 上海中银大厦; traditional Chinese: 上海中銀大廈; pinyin: Shànghǎi Zhōngyín Dàshà), is a 53-story tower in the Pudong District, Shanghai, China. It was built for the Bank of China by the Japanese architectural firm Nikken Sekkei.

The World Finance Tower (Chinese: 世界金融大厦) is a 43 floor tower in the Pudong area of Shanghai and was completed in 2000. It was designed by architects Leigh & Orange.
