National Kaohsiung Normal University

The Kaohsiung Cultural Center (Chinese: 高雄市文化中心; pinyin: Gāoxióngshì Wénhuà Zhōngxīn) is a cultural center located in Lingya District of Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It was founded by the city government in 1981. The main building of the center is a complex of two concert halls, many galleries, and a library. The office of Kaohsiung Bureau of Cultural Affairs is also located in Kaohsiung Cultural Center.

The Affiliated Senior High School of National Kaohsiung Normal University (NKNUASHS; Chinese: 國立高雄師範大學附屬高級中學; pinyin: Guólì Gāoxióng Shīfàn Dàxué Fùshǔ Gāojí Zhōngxué) is a public high school located in Lingya District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It has eight classes per grades for senior high level, four classes per grades for junior high, and one class per grades for elementary students. The campus of the school is enclosed by National Kaohsiung Normal University. At the present, NKNUASHS is one of the top high schools of Kaohsiung City.

Lingya District (Chinese: 苓雅區; pinyin: Língyǎ Qū) is a district of Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The 85 Sky Tower and the Kaohsiung City Hall are located here. Lingya District is the administrative center of Kaohsiung City along with Fongshan District. Its population is around 163,850 as of October 2023. It is the 6th most-populated district in Kaohsiung, with a population density of 19,916 people per square kilometer, or 51,581 people per square mile. It has a area of 8.1522 square kilometers, or 3.1476 square miles. The average elevation of Lingya is 6 meters, or 20 feet.

The Water Tower Park (traditional Chinese: 自來水公園; simplified Chinese: 自来水公园; pinyin: Zìláishuǐ Gōngyuán) is a park in Lingya District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

Cultural Center is a station on the Orange line of Kaohsiung MRT on the edge of Sinsing District and Lingya District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

The Vespi Tower (Chinese: 維士比大樓; pinyin: Wéi shì bǐ dàlóu) is a skyscraper office building completed in 1998 in Cianjin District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The architectural height of the building is 149 m (489 ft), with a roof height of 130 m (430 ft), and it comprises 32 floors above ground.

The Tomb of Chen Jhong-he (traditional Chinese: 陳中和墓; simplified Chinese: 陈中和墓; pinyin: Chén Zhōnghé Mù; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Tân Tiong-hô Bō͘) is a tomb of a prominent businessman Chen Jhong-he in Lingya District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

Wukuaicuo (Chinese: 五塊厝) is a station on the Orange line of Kaohsiung MRT in Lingya District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

Sinyi Elementary School is a station on the Orange line of Kaohsiung MRT in Sinsing District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It will be a future transfer station with the Yellow line.

The Cathay Shi-Wei Financial Center (Chinese: 國泰四維財經大樓) is a 27-story, 126.2 metres (414 ft) skyscraper office building completed in 2001 in Lingya District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The plan of Cathay Shi-Wei Financial Center is a horizontal T shape, forming a square and rectangular structure respectively. The space connected by the two areas serves as the building's elevator equipment, stairs, and logistics equipment. The building is covered with pink tiles and reinforced glued heat-insulating glass. Located in close proximity to the Kaohsiung City Government, the building houses the Kaohsiung branch of Mitsubishi Electric.

The Han-Hsien International Hotel (traditional Chinese: 寒軒國際大飯店; simplified Chinese: 寒轩国际大饭店; pinyin: Hánxuān Guójì Dà Fàndiàn), also known as Linden Hotel, is a 160.3 metres (526 ft) tall skyscraper located in Lingya District of Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It was completed in 1994 and was designed by Kris Yao. The building is 42-stories tall and has a total floor space of 69,815 m2. When it was completed in 1994, it was the third tallest buildings in Kaohsiung at the time after Chang-Gu World Trade Center and Asia-Pacific Financial Plaza.

The Shr-Hwa Financial Center, also known as United World Chinese Bank (Chinese: 國泰世華金融大樓), is a 30-story, 129 metres (423 ft) skyscraper office building completed in 1996 in Sinsing District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The top floor of the building is the Mountain Group Museum, which displays arts and other collections by the Mountain Group, which also owns the Cathay Pacific Central Plaza in Kaohsiung. In November 2020, the corporate headquarters of the ecKare group owned by Eastern Media International was established in the building. As of February 2021, it is the 26th tallest building in Kaohsiung.
