Ljubljana Zoo

Rožnik (pronounced [ˈɾoːʒnik]) is a hill in the Rožnik District and Šiška District northwest of the Ljubljana city center. Together with Tivoli City Park, it forms Tivoli–Rožnik Hill–Šiška Hill Landscape Park. Extending from Tivoli Park, it is a popular hiking, running, and excursion destination for residents of Ljubljana.

Poligon Creative Centre (Slovene: Poligon kreativni center, commonly known as Poligon) was a creative centre in Slovenia and the first and largest coworking space in Slovenia. It was a training ground for creative communities and self-employed operating in the field of creative economies, social entrepreneurship and culture in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and it was placed inside the former tobacco factory, Tobačna Ljubljana. The Slovenia Crowdfunding Initiative was based out of the center.

Koseze Pond (Slovene: Koseški bajer), Martinek Pond (Martinek bajer) or Lake Koseze (Koseško jezero) is an artificial pond at the edge of Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, between Šiška Hill to the west and the neighborhood of Mostec to the east. It is part of the Tivoli–Rožnik Hill–Šiška Hill Landscape Park and is named after the nearby Koseze neighborhood in Ljubljana's Šiška District. Near Koseze Pond, the Path of Remembrance and Comradeship touches Tivoli–Rožnik Hill–Šiška Hill Landscape Park.The pond has an area of 3.8 hectares (9.4 acres) and a maximum depth of 2–3 metres (6 ft 7 in – 9 ft 10 in). It is fed by Mostec Creek. It was created after a former clay pit at the site, which supplied the brickworks operated by Gustav Tönnies (1814–1886), was closed. The pit was then overgrown by grass, but the Agrostroj company later flooded the area to test irrigation pumps.Koseze Pond is now used as a recreation area by local residents. In the summer it is used for racing radio-controlled model boats and fishing. Swimming is prohibited due to the poor quality of the water, which is also contaminated by cyanobacteria. In the winter it is used for skating. Koseze Pond is a natural habitat for the edible frog, migrant hawker, common bulrush, and common reed.

Vrhovci (pronounced [ʋəɾˈxoːu̯tsi]) is a formerly independent settlement in the southwest part of the capital Ljubljana in central Slovenia. It is part of the traditional region of Upper Carniola and is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Central Slovenia Statistical Region. It includes the territory of Bokalce Castle (German: Strobelhof).

Koseze (pronounced [kɔˈseːzɛ]; German: Koßes) is a formerly independent settlement in the northwest part of the capital Ljubljana in central Slovenia. It is part of the traditional region of Upper Carniola and is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Central Slovenia Statistical Region.

The Mali Graben (Slovene: Mali graben) is a creek and a natural branch of the Gradaščica River in southwest Ljubljana. It flows south of and parallel to the Gradaščica and is the largest affluent of the river Ljubljanica. It is also known as Stržen (literally, 'thalweg') and Mala voda ('Little Creek').The creek is a natural channel. It splits from the Gradaščica not far from Bokalce Castle, then flows across the southern part of the Murgle residential district and joins the Ljubljanica from the left side near the Gruber Canal. Most water from the Gradaščica is diverted into the Mali Graben, helping alleviate flooding of the Trnovo District of Ljubljana.
