KKYC (102.3 FM) was a radio station broadcasting a Classic rock/Rock format. Licensed to Clovis, New Mexico, US, the station serves the Clovis area. The station was last owned by Monte Spearman and Gentry Todd Spearman's High Plains Radio Network, through licensee HPRN Networks, LLP.

The Hillcrest Park Archway in Clovis, New Mexico is an archway over a roadway entering into Hillcrest Park which was built during 1939 to 1940. It was a Works Progress Administration project. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008."Improved by the Works Progress Administration" and "1935" shows on a photographed plaque on the archway; it seems that date refers to WPA improvements to the Hillcrest Park, not the archway itself.

The Clovis Baptist Hospital, located at 515 Prince St. in Clovis in Curry County, New Mexico, was built in 1919–1920. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.It is a two-story stuccoed building with a hipped roof. It has a projecting entry portico with square stuccoed columns. It was built as the result of a drive by Clovis-area Baptists, including of the First Baptist Church, Clovis, to create the first hospital in the area. It was described at its opening on October 7, 1920 as "'the only city of refuge on the high plains of eastern New Mexico.'"It was operated as a hospital for 19 years until 1939, when a larger hospital was opened. The building then was re-used as the Ramsey Hotel. In 1981 it was in use as a restaurant and art gallery, "The Landmark".

The 1908 Clovis City Hall and Fire Station at 308 Pile St. in Clovis in Curry County, New Mexico was the first city hall and fire station in the city; it served in that role from 1908 until 1929, and later served as an auto repair shop then as a hotel. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.It is a two-story Early Commercial-style brick building.

The North Plains Mall is an enclosed shopping mall in Clovis, New Mexico owned by Kohan Retail Investment Group. It is the only mall within its 95-mile radius and thus has drawn consumers across eastern New Mexico and west Texas. The mall is anchored by JCPenney with three vacant anchors last occupied by Dillard's, Sears, & Stage. At the time of the mall's 30th anniversary in 2015, it still had several original inline tenants. Price Development built the mall. On September 15, 2017, it was announced that Sears would be closing in December 2017. in May 2020, Dillard's permanently closed alongside 2 other locations at Crossroads Mall (Waterloo, Iowa) & Central Mall (Lawton, OK). In July 2021, Kohan Retail Investment Group purchased the mall alongside 6 other malls from Brookfield Asset Management

On August 28, 2017, a mass shooting occurred at the Clovis-Carver Library, a public library in downtown Clovis, New Mexico, U.S. The gunman fatally shot two people and injured four others. He was identified as Nathaniel Jouett, a 16-year-old student at nearby Clovis High School.

Clovis is a city in and the county seat of Curry County, New Mexico. The city had a population of 37,775 as of the 2010 census, and a 2020 census population of 38,567. Clovis is located in the New Mexico portion of the Llano Estacado, in the eastern part of the state. A largely agricultural community, closely bordering Texas, it is noted for its role in early rock music history and for nearby Cannon Air Force Base. After the discovery of several "Clovis culture" sites in eastern North America in the 1930s, the Clovis people came to be regarded as the first human inhabitants who created a widespread culture in the New World. Clovis people are considered to be the ancestors of most of the indigenous cultures of the Americas. The Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway system helped establish Clovis over one hundred years ago, which continues to be a major hub of operations for that railroad and its successor, BNSF Railway. Also notable is the Southwest Cheese Company, the largest cheddar cheese producer in North America. It is the principal city of the Clovis Micropolitan statistical area, which is part of the larger Clovis-Portales CSA.

The Curry County Courthouse in Clovis, New Mexico is a three-and-a-half-story Art Deco-style courthouse which was built in 1936. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.It was designed by architect Robert E. Merrell of Schaefer & Merrell architectural firm. It was expanded in 1954 with a two-story addition, also designed by Robert E. Merrell, over the site of the preceding 1910 courthouse.Merrell also designed the NRHP-listed Hotel Clovis, at 210 Main St. in Clovis, and the NRHP-listed Roosevelt County Courthouse at 100 W. 2nd St. in Portales, New Mexico.

The First Methodist Church of Clovis is a historic church building at 622 Main Street in Clovis, New Mexico. It was built in 1929 in a Classical Revival style and was added to the National Register in 1987.Prior to 1930, it was originally known as Faith Christian Fellowship, and was constructed by church members at cost of $100,000.

The State Theater is an art deco-style theater in Clovis, New Mexico, which opened in 1936. It is still in use, although today it presents live musical acts rather than movies. It is one of three historic movie theaters in Clovis. The centerpiece of the marquee is a tall, vertical, cylindrical glass brick column.In 2007 the theater, at 504 Main Street, was added to both the State and National Register of Historic Places listings in New Mexico (SR#1899, NRHP # 355920). It is one of two historic movie theaters in Clovis that are on the NRHP, the other being the Lyceum Theater at 409 Main Street. The nomination of the theater as part of the Clovis Railroad and Commercial Historic District includes the description of the State Theater by historian David Kammer as “the most richly detailed example of a modernistic style theater façade in New Mexico.”

The Lyceum Theater of Clovis, New Mexico, located at 409 Main St., was built during 1919–20. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.It is a two-story concrete building with a vaulted roof which is hidden from street view by a stepped parapet. It has a 120-seat balcony. It was designed by the Boller Brothers architectural firm with elements of Mission Revival style. Its facade was altered in the 1940s to add "a modicum of modernistic details" and to add "neon on a wall-mounted sign above the marquee".It is categorized in the NRHP nomination as having Moderne style.

The Clovis Central Fire Station at 320 Mitchell St. in Clovis, Curry County, New Mexico is an Early Commercial-style building that was built in 1929 and reflected confidence in the city's prospects at the beginning of the Great Depression. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.It has also been known as the Clovis City Hall and Fire Station. In these functions it replaced the 1908 Clovis City Hall and Fire Station (which is also listed on the National Register). It is on the same block as the City Hall and Municipal Court building.It is a two-story building with a truncated hipped roof and is partially flat-roofed. Its walls include blonde brick laid in running bond and light gray/tan concrete details.
