Pinkenba Wharf is an Australian wharf, located within the Port of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It is located adjacent to the former Pinkenba railway station.

Pinkenba War Memorial is a heritage-listed memorial at Eagle Farm Road, Pinkenba, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It was designed by Ernest Gunderson and built in 1919. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 3 October 2005.

Pinkenba railway station was originally the terminus station of the Pinkenba Line, just 9 kilometres (5.6 mi) from the Brisbane central business district and 14.1 kilometres (8.8 mi) from Central station by rail. It opened in 1897 and was rebuilt in 1969, with a new station closer to the township of Pinkenba. The first station became a shunters' quarters. The line closed to all passenger traffic in 1993.

Hemmant railway station is located on the Cleveland line in Queensland, Australia. It serves the Brisbane suburb of Hemmant. The station opened in 1914.In November 1996, the Fisherman Islands line to the Port of Brisbane opened to the north of the station.

Hemmant State School is a heritage-listed state school at 56 Hemmant-Tingalpa Road, Hemmant, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It was built from 1876 to 1930s. Its architects included Francis Drummond Greville Stanley. It was also known as Bulimba Creek School and Doughboy Creek Mixed School. On its grounds is the historic house Dumbarton, also known as Ashcroft House and Gibson House. The original Hemmant State School closed at the end of 2010, and in 2012 was replaced by the Hemmant Flexible Learning Centre, a new school targeted at students disengaged from mainstream education. The school buildings and structures were added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 4 September 2003.

Hemmant Christian Community Church is a heritage-listed church at 69 Hemmant Road, Hemmant, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It was built from 1865 to 1866. It is also known as Hemmant Methodist Church, Hemmant Uniting Church, and Tingalpa Wesleyan Methodist Church. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 21 October 1992.

Lindum railway station is located next to Iona College, on the Cleveland line in Queensland, Australia. It serves the Brisbane suburb of Wynnum West. The location of "Lindum" was once a suburb named for a residential house in the area. In the 1980s, Lindum ceased to exist as a suburb and is now recognised as a locality within the broader suburb of Wynnum West.In November 1996, the Fisherman Islands line to the Port of Brisbane opened to the north of the station. It branches off to the east of the station.

Iona College is an independent Roman Catholic single-sex day school for boys, located in the Brisbane suburb of Wynnum West (in an area previously known as Lindum), in Queensland, Australia. Iona is operated by the Oblates of Mary Immaculate, a religious order that was founded in 1816 by Saint Eugene de Mazenod. Founded in 1958, the college caters for approximately 1,720 students from years 5 to 12 on a 27-hectare (67-acre) campus approximately 16 kilometres (9.9 mi) east of the Brisbane central business district. In 2015, Michael Twigg O.M.I. was appointed Rector of the college. In 2019 the Board and Oblates appointed Trevor Goodwin as the first principal of Iona. Michael Twigg remains in a strong pastoral, leadership role as Rector, Mr Mark Harvey is currently the dean of students. In 2018, 83% of OP Eligible students had an OP1-15.

Meeandah railway station is an abandoned station on the Pinkenba railway line, just 8.7 kilometres (5.4 mi) from the Brisbane central business district; 13.4 kilometres (8.3 mi) from Central station by rail. It closed as a staffed station in 1930, reopened as an unattended gate in 1931, and was finally closed on 27 September 1993. The name Meeandah comes from the English word "meander," after the twisting and turning route of the nearby Brisbane River. Meeandah railway station falls within the suburb of Pinkenba.

Anning Monument is a heritage-listed memorial at the corner of Hemmant and Tingalpa Road and Boonoo Street, Hemmant, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It was designed and built by William Busby in 1903. It is also known as Hemmant Boer War Memorial. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 21 October 1992.

In the 2016 census, Lytton had a population of 6 people.The historical region was a significant naval base after the establishment of Fort Lytton between 1880 and 1881. The Fort safeguarded the city and shipping routes from hostile invasions during the colonial period as Brisbane was close to the French naval garrison at Nouméa.
