Fereej Abdel Aziz

Rumeilah (Arabic: اَلرُّمَيْلَة, romanized: Ar Rumaylah; also spelled Rumaila) is a neighborhood of Doha, Qatar. It is divided into an eastern and western section. Zone 11, the eastern section, hosts roughly half of Al Bidda Park while Zone 21 contains most of Hamad Medical Corporation's facilities. Hamad Medical City was constructed over a 227,000 square meter area in Rumeilah at a cost of $659 million. Portions of Hamad Medical City form its own district to the west.

Al Mukaynis is a locality of Mebaireek located in the municipality of Ar Rayyan, Qatar. Mudhlem Cave, which translates to "Dark Cave" in Arabic, is located in the area. Nearby Al Rekayya Farms (Irkaya Farms) is a popular bird watching site.In J.G. Lorimer's Gazetteer of the Persian Gulf, Al Mukaynis was mentioned as a stopover on the route from Hofuf to Doha as early as 1908.

Zone 5 is a zone of the municipality of Ad Dawhah in the state of Qatar. The main districts recorded in the 2015 population census were Al Najada, Barahat Al Jufairi, and Fereej Al Asmakh.

Barahat Al Jufairi (Arabic: براحة الجفيري) is a district named after the Al Jufairi tribe, a highly prominent family in Qatar. Barahat Al Jufairi is a city located in the municipality of Doha. Historically, it was used as a central marketplace.Al Ahli SC, Qatar's oldest existing sports club, was headquartered in the district at the time of its founding in 1950.

Fereej Al Asmakh (Arabic: فريج الأصمخ, romanized: Farīj al-'Aṣmakh) is a district in Qatar, located in the municipality of Ad Dawhah. Administratively, it is part of Zone 5, along with Al Najada and Barahat Al Jufairi.It is one of the smaller and older districts of Doha. As such, the district is considered as a good example of Qatar's cultural identity, which has led to several development programs by the government to rehabilitate its dilapidated structures.

Al Jasrah (Arabic: الجسرة) is a district in Qatar, located in the municipality of Ad Dawhah. It hosts Souq Waqif, one of the largest souqs in Qatar. Other points of interest in the district include Souq Jaidah, the Souq Waqif Falcon Hospital, the Souq Waqif Horse Stables, Abdul Aziz Nasser Theatre, Waqif Art Centre, Al Koot Fort (also known as Doha Fort) and Doha Fort Museum.Most of its landmarks are accessible through Al Souq Street, Souq Waqif Street and Al Jasra Street. To the immediate east of Al Jasrah is Al Souq, which hosts a number of smaller-sized souqs.

Al Najada (Arabic: النجادة) is a district in Qatar, located in the municipality of Doha. It is one of the oldest districts of Doha. Doha's rapid urbanization during the 1970s after it gained independence resulted in the gradual decline of Al Najada. Several of its historical buildings have been demolished.The Qatar Museums Authority has taken steps to preserve the cultural and architectural heritage of the district with its 'Al Turath al Hai' ('living heritage') initiative. Most significant structures dating back to the early 20th century that still exist have been documented by the Origins of Doha Project. Some of the contemporary buildings dating to the late 20th century were intentionally designed with traditional elements of Qatari architecture in the interests of preserving the district's identity.

Al Hilal (Arabic: الهلال) a is multipurpose district in central Doha. It is home to the Doha Mall, the city's first shopping centre. Prior to the 2010 census, Zone 41 comprised Al Hilal West, but the zone was later transferred to Nuaija. Many sizable residences are situated here, and the Embassy of India, Doha formerly had its headquarters here.

Doha (Arabic: الدوحة, romanized: ad-Dawḥa [adˈduħa] or ad-Dūḥa) is the capital city and main financial hub of Qatar. Located on the Persian Gulf coast in the east of the country, north of Al Wakrah and south of Al Khur, it is home to most of the country's population. It is also Qatar's fastest growing city, with over 80% of the nation's population living in Doha or its surrounding suburbs.Doha was founded in the 1820s as an offshoot of Al Bidda. It was officially declared as the country's capital in 1971, when Qatar gained independence from being a British protectorate. As the commercial capital of Qatar and one of the emergent financial centers in the Middle East, Doha is considered a beta-level global city by the Globalization and World Cities Research Network. Doha accommodates Education City, an area devoted to research and education, and Hamad Medical City, an administrative area of medical care. It also includes Doha Sports City, or Aspire Zone, an international sports destination that includes Khalifa International Stadium, Hamad Aquatic Centre; and the Aspire Dome. The city was host to the first ministerial-level meeting of the Doha Development Round of World Trade Organization negotiations. It was also selected as host city of a number of sporting events, including the 2006 Asian Games, the 2011 Pan Arab Games, the 2019 World Beach Games, the FINA World Aquatics Championships, the FIVB Volleyball Club World Championship, the WTA Finals and most of the games at the 2011 AFC Asian Cup. In December 2011, the World Petroleum Council held the 20th World Petroleum Conference in Doha. Additionally, the city hosted the 2012 UNFCCC Climate Negotiations and the 2022 FIFA World Cup.The city also hosted the 140th Inter-Parliamentary Union Assembly in April 2019 and hosted 18th yearly session United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in 2012.

Ad-Dawhah (Arabic: الدوحة, ad-Dawḥa or ad-Dōḥa, [addawħa]) is the one of the eight municipalities of Qatar. It is the most populous municipality with a population of 956,457, and is the municipality of Qatar's capital city, Doha.

Al Koot Fort most commonly known as the Doha Fort, is a historical military fortress located in the heart of Doha, Qatar's capital city. It was built in 1927 by Sheikh Abdulla bin Qassim Al Thani, better known as Sheikh Abdullah bin Jassim Al Thani, who ruled Qatar from 1913 until 1949, after Sheikh Mohammed bin Jassim Al Thani, Sheikh Abdullah's brother, abdicated in favor of him. The fort was later converted into a museum.Qatari traditional handicrafts, products and photos of daily life with illustrations are housed in the fort. Exhibits and artworks include handicrafts, gypsum and wooden ornaments, fishing equipment and boats, historical photos and paintings including oil paintings of craft workers and daily life.

Souq Waqif station is a station on the Doha Metro's Gold Line and serves the nearby Souq Waqif market in Doha, Qatar.
