Krasny Stroitel is an industrial and residential area in the city of Bishkek of Kyrgyzstan. It is part of the Sverdlov District.

Dordoy Bazaar (Kyrgyz: Дордой Базары, Dordoj Bazary, Russian: Рынок Дордой; also spelled Dordoi Bazaar in English) is a large wholesale and retail market in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. It is one of Asia's greatest public marketplaces, comparable to Bangkok's Chatuchak Weekend Market or Tehran's Grand Bazaar. It has been described by a Western journalist as "a modern monument to the power of raw commerce".Dordoy Bazaar is a major shopping and employment centre for the Bishkek metropolitan area and entire Chuy River Valley region. It is also one of the main entrepots through which consumer goods from China arrive at shops and markets in Kazakhstan, Russia, and Uzbekistan. According to some economists, this re-export (the other center for which, targeting Uzbekistan, is the Karasuu Bazar at Kara-Suu, Osh Region) is one of two largest economic activities of Kyrgyzstan.

Mayevka is a village in the Alamüdün District in Chüy Region of Kyrgyzstan. Its population was 10,535 in 2021. The village was established in 1930.

The St. Michael the Archangel Church or the Parish of St. Michael the Archangel is a religious building belonging to the Roman Catholic Church, located in Bishkek at 197 Vasileva Street near Bayat bazaar in the capital of Kyrgyzstan. Although there are three Catholic parishes and other meeting places in the nation, the building is considered the only Catholic church and the center of this Christian denomination in Kyrgyzstan. To access the site you must take a bus from the Osh Bazaar. Masses are celebrated in English are held on Saturdays by the Society of Jesus. Its history goes back to 1969 when it was built by ethnic Germans who were forced to move to this area at the time of the Soviet deportations of Joseph Stalin in the 1930s and 1940s. The church was built as a one-story structure in order not to be visible among private houses. In 1981, it was decided to expand the building so they built a second floor to make room for more practitioners.

The Apostolic Administration of Kyrgyzstan is a Roman Catholic (Latin Church) Apostolic Administration (pre-diocesan jurisdiction; originally an Independent Mission) for the Catholics of Kyrgyzstan (West Turkistan, Central Asia). It is exempt, i.e. directly subject to the Holy See (not part of any ecclesiastical province) and entitled to a titular bishop, but has no (pro-)cathedral see yet.

Bishkek-2 (Kyrgyz: Бишкек 2) is a train station located in the center of Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Design and construction of the building began in the 1930s. The work was completed in two years. May 1, 1938 the station was opened. Bishkek-1 railway station is located in the western part of the city, while this station is located in the city center.

Mykan is a village in the Chüy Region of Kyrgyzstan. Its population was 1,335 in 2021.

The Birinchi May District (Kyrgyz: Биринчи май району, romanized: Birinchi may rayonu, Russian: Первомайский район, romanized: Pervomaysky rayon, First of May) is a district of the capital city of Bishkek in northern Kyrgyzstan. Its resident population was 171,467 in 2009. It covers the city centre and the northwestern part of the city.

Alamüdün (Kyrgyz: Аламүдүн, also Alamedin and Alamudun) is a town and northern suburb of Bishkek in Chüy Region of Kyrgyzstan, part of Alamüdün District (raion). Its population was 12,198 in 2021. It lies along the M39 highway which leads to Korday on the Kazakh border and further to Almaty. Alamüdün contains an elm grove park to the west with Lake Komsomolskoye. Its main market is the Alamüdün Bazaar and its football club, FC Alamudun, plays in the top division in Kyrgyzstan, the Kyrgyzstan League. It is the birthplace of Tatyana Kolpakova.

The Kyrgyz Economic University (Кыргызский экономический университет), is a Kyrgyz public university located in Bishkek. Specializing in economics and international relations, it is one of the best universities in Kyrgyzstan and one of the best in Central Asia in economics. It was founded in 1953. The university also bears the name of Musa Ryskulbekov, since October 30, 2010, in tribute to a famous Kyrgyz economist. According to the Independent Accreditation and Rating Agency, the Kyrgyz University of Economics has occupied first place in the ranking of the best higher education establishments in Kyrgyzstan since 2019.

The National Library of the Kyrgyz Republic is the legal deposit and copyright agency for Kyrgyzstan. It was founded in 1934. It has a collection of 6 million documents in 89 languages from around the world. Since 2005 the head of the Kyrgyz National Library is Dr. Jyldyz Bakashova. According to the website, some of the primary functions of the National Library in Kyrgyzstan are “preserving the cultural wealth and traditions of the peoples of our country, collecting and accumulating human knowledge.”

The Central Mosque of Imam Sarakhsi, commonly known as the Bishkek Central Mosque (Kyrgyz: Бишкек борбордук мечити, Russian: Центральная мечеть Бишкека, is a mosque in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.The construction of the mosque started in 2012 and it was inaugurated in 2018. It was funded by the Turkish Diyanet. It is one of several mosques funded by Turkey across the world. Built in an Ottoman revival style, the mosque is one of the largest in Central Asia. It has the capacity to accommodate 30,000 worshipers.
