The Saudi ambassador in Ankara is the official representative of the Government in Riyadh to the Government of Turkey, concurrently he is accredited to Baku (Azerbaijan).

Gaziosmanpaşa is a neighbourhood in the municipality and district of Çankaya, Ankara Province, Turkey. Its population is 3,621 (2022). It is just south of the city center of Ankara. Several embassies accredited to the Republic of Turkey are situated here.

The Sheraton Ankara is a hotel and convention center in Ankara, Turkey. It is run by Sheraton Hotels and Resorts and is located in the Kavaklıdere quarter of central Ankara, near the city's central business district. The complex, which comprises a skyscraper (the hotel tower) and the adjacent convention center building, was opened in 1991. It was designed by the German architecture firm Gerkan, Marg and Partners. According to the architecture firm, the shape of the tower is inspired by a wine bottle, due to its location right next to the Kavaklıdere winery.With a total of 29 floors above ground and a structural height of 143 metres (469 ft) it was the tallest skyscraper in Ankara between 1991 and 2009, and the tallest skyscraper in the Central Anatolia Region between 1991 and 2006.

The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Ankara is the diplomatic mission of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to the Republic of Turkey. It is located at Doğukent Bulvarı, 596.Sok No:5, Sancak Mah., Çankaya, Ankara. His Excellency Saeed Thani Hareb Al Dhaheri is the current ambassador, a post held since December 2021.

Pembe Köşk (Pink Villa) is an Ottoman-era house in the Çankaya district of Ankara, Turkey, which is the city's oldest villa and was the home of Turkish President İsmet İnönü from 1925 to 1973.İnönü purchased the villa in 1924 and it was used for strategic meetings by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, as well as concerts, gallery openings, pool and chess tournaments and the city's first ball, on February 22, 1927. The building now houses a museum of İnönü's personal belongings and diplomatic photographs which is occasionally opened to the public.

The Swiss ambassador in Ankara is the official representative of the Government in Bern to the Government of Turkey.

The Embassy of Japan in Ankara (Japanese: 在トルコ日本国大使館; Turkish: Japonya'nın Ankara Büyükelçiliği) is the diplomatic mission of Japan to Turkey. SUZUKI Kazuhiro has been the current ambassador since October 2020. The embassy was opened on 4 July 1953.

The Iranian ambassador in Ankara is the official representative of the Government in Tehran to the Government of Turkey. The Persian embassy was established next to the Sublime Porte in 1852 (1230 years After the Hegira AH) and Hajji Mirza Ahmad Khan Khoi was appointed to the expedition and the resident minister. The Embassy of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in Turkey (Turkish: Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti'nin Ankara Büyükelçiliği) is the TRNC's only official embassy abroad as Turkey is the only nation thus far to recognize the TRNC as an independent state. TRNC has representative offices in other countries with semi-diplomatic status. This embassy was established in late 1983 shortly after Turkey signed a treaty with the TRNC recognizing the November 15 1983 Declaration of Independence of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. The embassy itself is located in the Ankara suburb of Gaziosmanpaşa (not to be confused by the Istanbul suburb of the same name). The internationally recognized government of the Republic of Cyprus (de facto the Greek Cypriot south of the island) has no diplomatic relations with Turkey as the government of Turkey does not recognize the legitimacy of the Republic of Cyprus. Fazıl Can Korkut was appointed as the TRNC's ambassador to Turkey in November 2014.

Ankara's first electoral district is one of three divisions of Ankara province for the purpose of elections to Grand National Assembly of Turkey. It elects sixteen members of parliament (deputies) to represent the district for a five-year term by the D'Hondt method, a party-list proportional representation system.

Kuğulu Park (Swan Park) is a 1 ha (2.5 acres) public park in the Çankaya neighborhood of Ankara, Turkey. The park is known for its swans (a symbol of Ankara), but also has ducks and geese. Its pond was renovated in 2012.In June 2013 Kuğulu's waterfowl (35 birds) were evacuated temporarily to protect them from tear gas exposure during the 2013 Turkish protests. The park was a major meeting point for protestors, and saw a Taksim Gezi Park-style encampment.The City of Vienna gave the park a gift of swans.

The Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Turkey (Chinese: 中华人民共和国驻土耳其大使馆; pinyin: Zhōnghuá Rénmín Gònghéguó zhù Tǔ'ěrqí dàshǐguǎn) is the diplomatic mission of China to Turkey.
