Yoff

Yof Bay (French: Baie de Yoff) is a bay on the north side of the Cap-Vert peninsula, directly north of the city centre of Dakar, Senegal. It stretches southwest from the town Kayar to Yoff, a suburb of Dakar. The bay opens towards the north and lies in the area of the westernmost point of Africa. Small Île de Yoff lies in the NW corner of the bay.

Léopold Sédar Senghor Stadium, formerly the Stade de l'Amitie, is a multi-purpose stadium in Dakar, Senegal. It is currently used mostly for football matches. It serves as a home ground of ASC Jeanne d'Arc and the Senegal national football team. It also has an athletics track, and is sometimes used for rugby union. The stadium holds 80,000. It was built in 1985 and named after Léopold Sédar Senghor, first president of Senegal (from 1960 to 1980). The stadium's record attendance of 75,000 was set in 1992, in an association football match between the national football teams of Senegal and Nigeria.

Léopold Sédar Senghor International Airport (French: Aéroport international Léopold-Sédar-Senghor, IATA: DKR, ICAO: GOOY) is an international freight and former passenger airport serving Dakar, the capital of Senegal. The airport is situated near the town of Yoff, a northern suburb of Dakar. It was known as Dakar-Yoff International Airport (French: Aéroport international de Dakar-Yoff) until 9 October 1996, when it was renamed in honor of Léopold Sédar Senghor, the first president of Senegal.

École Nationale des Beaux Arts (ENBA; English: National School of Fine Arts) was a public art school, active from 1958 until 1995 in Dakar, Senegal (formerly known as the Mali Federation). In 1995, this school was merged to form the National School of Arts of Senegal. It was formerly known by the names Masion des Arts du Mali from 1958 to 1961; the École des Arts du Sénégal (EAS) from 1961 to 1971; the Institut National des Arts du Sénégal (INAS) from 1971 to 1977; and finally the École Nationale des Beaux Arts (ENBA) from 1977 until its close. The earliest instructors at the school were Iba N'Diaye, and Papa Ibra Tall. Many students and teachers from the school were part of the Dakar School art movement in the 1960s and 1970s.

Almadies Arrondissement is an arrondissement of the Dakar Department in the Dakar Region of Senegal. Almadies is considered the most upmarket residential neighbourhood in Central & Western Africa and it holds the residences of numerous foreign Ambassadors and expatriates. It is also considered one of the most expensive and premiere neighbourhoods in Africa. It also holds numerous Embassies and agencies of the UN. Located at the western end of the peninsula of Cape Verde, it is dominated by the two hills of Mamelles.It is divided into 4 communes d'arrondissement; Mermoz-Sacré-Coeur, Ngor, Ouakam and Yoff.

Stade de Ngor is a multi-use stadium in Ngor in the west of Dakar, Senegal. It is currently used mostly for football matches and serves as a home ground of Olympique de Ngor, also Almadies plays at the stadium. The stadium holds 3,000 people. It is just around a kilometer southeast of the center of Ngor and west of Dakar International Airport, the main airport (or hub) will be about 50 km east of Dakar and it likely becomes a secondary airport. It is the westernmost sports stadium on the African mainland, Estádio Municipal do Porto Novo (Porto Novo Municipal Stadium) in Cape Verde is the westernmost of the whole of Africa. The first continental competition took place with one of the two matches of the 2015 CAF Confederation Cup at the stadium with the clubs Unisport de Bafang of Cameroon and Hearts of Oak of Ghana.

Ouakam is a commune d'arrondissement in the city of Dakar, Senegal. The commune is the birthplace of French politicians Ségolène Royal and Rama Yade and Senegalese writer and politician Birago Diop. Ouakam is one of the four original Lebou villages of the Cap-Vert Peninsula, along with Yoff, Ngor, and Hann.
