King City Airport

The Kingbridge Centre is a conference venue and communications facility in King City, Ontario, Canada. It was designed by Arthur Erickson and built in 1989.

Kinghorn Methodist Episcopal Cemetery is located in the Kinghorn community of King, Ontario. The cemetery sits on a hill 300 metres south of King road, on the east side of Jane street. It was established in 1848. Of the 30 headstones that are visible on the site only 24 are still standing. Many have cracked and fallen over with age, and have later been restored and reinforced.

Laskay is an unincorporated rural community in King Township, York Regional Municipality, Ontario, Canada. It is west of King City and Highway 400, and south of the King Road—Weston Road intersection. The settlement was named by Joseph Baldwin, and was named after his hometown Loskie in Yorkshire, England. The community has also been known as "Bulltown", a nickname it acquired after a fall fair in which a bull broke loose from its enclosure and charged the patrons.Several of the original buildings in the community have been moved to other locations. The Laskay Emporium, built in 1856, was moved to Black Creek Pioneer Village on 19 February 1960. In August 2017, Laskay Hall was moved from its original site to the grounds of the King Township Museum in King City.

The King Heritage & Cultural Centre in King City, Ontario, Canada is a local history museum for the township of King at 2920 King Road. It was previously known as Kinghorn Museum, and is located on what was once known as Kinghorn, now subsumed by King City. Its name was changed to King Township Museum when its operation was transferred from the King Township Historical Society to the municipal government of King in 2000, and to its current name in 2014. It is operated by the King Township Community Services Department.The Museum is affiliated with the Canadian Museums Association (CMA), the Canadian Heritage Information Network (CHIN), and the Virtual Museum of Canada. The King Heritage & Cultural Centre houses the King Township Historical Society, Arts Society King, the township archives, the township museum collection and two exhibition galleries, a performance hall, and four historic buildings.

King City GO Station is a train and bus station in the GO Transit network located in King City, Ontario in Canada. It also serves the nearby communities of Nobleton, Oak Ridges, the northern parts of Maple (in Vaughan), and other communities in King Township. It is a stop on the Barrie line train service.

Kinghaven Farms is a horse racing stable that was founded in 1967 by Donald G. "Bud" Willmot. Located in King City, Ontario, north of Toronto, the success of the stable would see it expand to the United States with the acquisition of a 660-acre (2.7 km2) farm and training center near Ocala, Florida. In 1974, Bud's son David S. Willmot began managing the farm's racing/breeding programs. In 2004, David Willmot announced that Kinghaven was shutting down its Thoroughbred operation, although he would continue to race a handful of horses in the following years.

King—Vaughan is a federal electoral district in Ontario, Canada. King—Vaughan was created by the 2012 federal electoral boundaries redistribution and was legally defined in the 2013 representation order. It came into effect upon the dropping of the writs for the 2015 federal election. It was created out of parts of the ridings of Oak Ridges—Markham and Vaughan.

Strange is an unincorporated community west of King City in King Township, Ontario, Canada. It is directly north of Laskay to the west of Highway 400, and is a sparsely populated agricultural area. Strange was founded as Williamstown in 1841, founded by William Wells who opened a general store. He abandoned his plans to expand the community into a town in 1853 when the Toronto, Simcoe & Lake Huron railway was built through the community of Springhill (now King City) instead of Williamstown. In 1854, the community's first post office closed, but another opened on 1 March 1880 through the efforts of Frederick William Strange, for whom the post office and the community were renamed. Today, only a few residential buildings remain, and only the Presbyterian Church and two graveyards provide links to its past.

King City is an unincorporated Canadian community in the township of King, Ontario, located 40 kilometres (25 mi) north of Toronto. It is the largest community in King township, with 2,730 dwellings and a population of 8,396 as of the 2021 Canadian census.

All Saints, King City is a parish of the Anglican Church of Canada in the Diocese of Toronto, Ecclesiastical Province of Ontario. It was established in 1857 in Springhill, now known as King City. The facility was originally built of pine cleared from the site, and was covered with brick in 1871. In 1960, the building was extended with the addition of the parish hall.Weekly services are held on Sundays at 08:00 and 10:30, with nursery care and Sunday School provided at 10:30 am. Kirby GO Station is a planned GO Transit train station to be built by Metrolinx on Kirby Road in Vaughan, Ontario, as part of GO Transit's Regional Express Rail (RER) expansion program. Approximately 1000 parking spaces will be provided on the east side of the station. A bus loop and a kiss and ride area will also be provided.Although a station in the area had previously been supported by local politicians, it wasn't until 2015 that Metrolinx proposed it, as part of a larger list of possible future station sites. The station was ultimately included on the list of stations to be built in the RER program. In March 2018, a Metrolinx report found that the station would save them C$437 million, with introduction of express service expected to reduce the impact on riders north of Kirby.In December 2018, an Auditor General's report found that Metrolinx improperly approved the station under political pressure from then-Minister of Transportation Steven Del Duca and recommended that the MTO conduct an independent review of the station. The report found that the station would cause ridership loss of 57,000 people in 2031. Because of this, the timing of the station's construction and opening is uncertain.

The Oak Ridges Trail Association (ORTA) is an incorporated charitable organisation whose purpose is to develop, maintain, promote and expand the hiking trail system across the Oak Ridges Moraine in south-central Ontario, Canada. ORTA has ten chapters, each of which maintains a section of the approximately 250 km of trail. The Oak Ridges Trail is connected to the Bruce Trail, Ganaraska Trail, Nokiidaa Trail and Trans Canada Trail. ORTA is governed by a board of directors who have responsibilities for managing the various aspects of the organization. Directors on the board are elected at an annual general meeting. ORTA Mission Statement is "To build and maintain a public hiking trail system on the Oak Ridges moraine, off-road where possible, and To organize and promote hiking on this trail system, and To encourage responsible stewardship of the Moraine's natural environment."
