Eagan High School (EHS) is a public high school in east-central Eagan, Minnesota, United States. The school opened in fall 1989 for ninth-grade students and for grades ten through twelve the following year. It is particularly noted for its fine arts programs and use of technology. As of the 2021-2022 school year, EHS had 2,111 students.The school is a part of Minnesota Independent School District 196 (Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan School District), and is affiliated with the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL). The school was a member of the Lake Conference from their first year until the 2010–11 school year when they joined the South Suburban Conference.

Many alumni's children also attend Rosemount High school. The school has a "triple-A" philosophy of academics, arts and athletics. Rosemount offers a comprehensive curriculum and multiple dual enrollment opportunities where students can earn college credit.Rosemount High School has state and nationally recognized band, choir, and dance programs; numerous individual and team state champions in athletics; and a variety of clubs and activities. It is located on a 71-acre (29 ha) campus in a growing suburban city of the Minneapolis–St. Paul metropolitan area with academic, artistic, and athletic facilities. Rosemount High School is located within a short walking distance of Rosemount Elementary School and Rosemount Middle School, two of its feeder schools, as well as along Minnesota Highway 3, which places the school near the downtown area of the city.

Lebanon Hills Regional Park is a park in Eagan and Apple Valley, Minnesota. The 1,869-acre (7.56 km2) park, the largest in Dakota County, contains forests, grasslands, marshes, and wetlands. Winter activities include skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating, ice fishing, hiking, and winter mountain biking. Summer activities include mountain biking, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, camping, horseback riding, and hiking.

Dakota County Library system is a public library system in Dakota County, Minnesota, headquartered in the Wescott Library in Eagan. The system includes 9, soon to be 10, locations. A New Kaposia Library in South St. Paul will open in 2024. [1]

Farquar Lake is a lake in Dakota County, in the U.S. state of Minnesota. It was most likely named for John Farquhar, a pioneer settler, although it may have been named for James Farquhar, whose name appears on the abstract of land entries in 1874 as the owner of property adjacent to it.

Eagan ( EE-gən) is a city in Dakota County, Minnesota. It is south of Saint Paul and lies on the south bank of the Minnesota River, upstream from the confluence with the Mississippi River. Eagan and the other nearby suburbs form the southern section of the Minneapolis–Saint Paul area. Eagan's population was 68,855 at the 2020 census. The city was home to the headquarters of Northwest Airlines (now Delta Air Lines).

It is located in Dakota County inside the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area. DCTC belongs to the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System and is one of five stand-alone technical colleges in the state.

The Eagan Transit Station is a transit facility located in Eagan, Minnesota. Riders also hail from the nearby communities of Mendota Heights and Northern Rosemount. The Park & Ride lot has 750 parking spaces for bus passengers and retail employees. The station is an example of mixed-use, transit-oriented development. Originally a surface lot for a park-and-ride stop, it currently includes retailers such as Bruegger's Bagels, The Tobacco Outlet, LeeAnn Chin and T-Mobile. Starbucks originally had a location at the station but moved up the street to Central Park Commons shortly after the opening of HyVee in September 2016. The facility is owned by Minnesota Valley Transit Authority.

Trinity School at River Ridge is a private Christian school in Eagan, Minnesota, United States. It provides an education rooted in classical Christian education to students in grades 6-12. The school is located at 601 River Ridge Parkway, Suite 200, in Eagan, Minnesota 55121, this 1996, 2008, and 2019 Blue Ribbon school is accredited by North Central Association and Independent School Association of the Central States (NCA/ISACS). The River Ridge campus was founded in 1987 by the People of Praise, a Christian community. It is owned and operated by Trinity Schools, Inc, based in South Bend, Indiana. The River Ridge campus has two sister schools, Greenlawn in South Bend and Meadow View in Falls Church, Virginia.
