Ipbuk-dong is an administrative neighbourhood in Gwonseon-gu, Suwon, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. Ipbuk-dong (입북동/笠北洞) is divided into two different legal-status neighbourhoods, namely Ipbuk-dong (same name) and Dangsu-dong (당수동/堂樹洞), which are separated by the Hwanggujicheon—a stream which flows south from Wangsong Reservoir on their northern boundary with the city of Uiwang, through Suwon, eventually to Asan Bay. Dangsu-dong has Suwon's sole boundary with Ansan, and meets Hwaseong further south. The neighbourhood is 96% green belt.

Sungkyunkwan University Station (Station P153) is a ground-level metro station on line 1 of the Seoul Subway in Yuljeon Dong, Jangan Gu, Suwon, South Korea. The station's sole exit offers access to Sungkyunkwan University and Dongnam Health College. Travel time from Sungkyunkwan University Station to Seoul Station on Line 1 is 54 minutes, and travelling to Sungkyunkwan University's other campus, by Hyehwa Station in Seoul, takes 67 minutes, transferring to Line 4 at Geumjeong. Extension work recently set on Sungkyunkwan university station with 4 floors including café and community center that can handle more than 50,000 people a day and this construction will be finished at the end of 2016.

Hwaseo Station is a ground-level metro station on line 1 of the Seoul Subway in north-west Suwon, South Korea. Hwaseo offers access to several important academic, governmental and cultural locations including Hwaseong Fortress, Manseok Park, the Korean National Institute of Agricultural Science and Technology and Suwon Immigration Office, as well as being the nearest station to Seoho, a sizeable lake and park. Travel time from Hwaseo to central Seoul on Line 1 is approximately 80 minutes, with slightly shorter journey times possible by transferring to Line 4 at Geumjeong. To save time when exiting, you should try to be in the front subway cars when traveling north, towards Seoul, and in the back subway cars when traveling south, towards Suwon and Cheonan. It is planned to become a transfer station to the Shinbundang Line in 2027.

Dongnam Health University is a South Korean technical college specializing in the health sciences. Its campus is on the north bank of the Seohocheon in Suwon, Gyeonggi province. The current president is Lee Young Kwon (이영권) and about 40 instructors are employed.

Jeongja-dong is a group of three administrative neighbourhoods of Jangan-gu, Suwon, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. Jeongja-dong (정자동/亭子洞) is also a legal status neighbourhood, though the administrative neighbourhoods' boundaries are wider. The three administrative neighbourhoods comprising Jeongja-dong are Jeongja-1-dong, Jeongja-2-dong, and Jeongja-3-dong. Jeongja-3-dong incorporates part of the legal status neighbourhood Cheoncheon-dong. Jeongja-dong is in central Jangan-gu, though it shares a short border with the city of Uiwang.

Suwon Station is a railway station in the city of Suwon, South Korea. The station was completely redeveloped in 2002 and 2003, and is now integrated with the Aekyung Shopping Mall (AK Plaza). This station serves Inter-city railway Gyeongbu Line KTX, ITX-Saemaeul and Mugunghwa will stop. and Line 1, Suin–Bundang Line of the Seoul subway will stop. And this station is an important hub in southern Gyeonggi Province.

Gosaek station is a railroad station on the Suin–Bundang Line of the Seoul Metropolitan Subway in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. It opened on 12 September 2020.

Pyeong-dong is a dong, neighbourhood of Jongno-gu in Seoul, South Korea. It is a legal dong (법정동 法定洞) administered under its administrative dong (행정동 行政洞), Gyonam-dong.

Manseok Park is a large public park in the Jeongja-dong area of Jangan-gu, Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea.

Haewoojae (Korean: 해우재; Hanja: 解憂齋; lit. house of relieving anxiety), also known as Mr. Toilet House, is a museum and cultural center dedicated to toilets located in Suwon, South Korea. It was built in 2007 as the residence of former mayor of Suwon Shim Jae-Deok. Shim was known for his campaigning to improve the quality of toilets in Suwon. After his death in 2009, the building reopened in 2010 as a cultural center and museum related to toilets. Haewoojae displays historical and modern toilets as well as exhibitions on toilets' role in culture, as well as ways to improve existing toilet systems.

Hwaseong Fortress or Suwon Hwaseong is a fortification surrounding the centre of Suwon, the provincial capital of Gyeonggi-do, in South Korea. It was built from 1794 to 1796 by King Jeongjo of the Joseon dynasty to house and honour the remains of his father, Prince Sado. Sado had been executed by being locked alive inside a rice chest by his own father King Yeongjo after failing to obey a command to commit suicide. Located 30 kilometres (19 mi) south of Seoul and enclosing much of central Suwon, the fortress includes King Jeongjo's palace Haenggung. The fortress and enclosed palace were designated as a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1997. It comprises among many other features the palace, a perimeter wall, four main gates, and two sluicegates over the Suwoncheon, Suwon's main stream, which flows through the centre of the fortress.

Bugok-dong (Korean: 부곡동; Hanja: 釜谷洞) is a neighbourhood of Sangnok-gu, Ansan, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea.
