Gatineau ( GAT-in-oh; French: [ɡatino]) is a city in southwestern Quebec, Canada. It is located on the northern bank of the Ottawa River, immediately across from Ottawa, Ontario. Gatineau is the largest city in the Outaouais administrative region of Quebec and is also part of Canada's National Capital Region. As of 2021, Gatineau is the fourth-largest city in Quebec with a population of 291,041, and it is part of the Ottawa-Gatineau census metropolitan area with a population of 1,488,307 making it the fourth largest in Canada.Gatineau is coextensive with a territory equivalent to a regional county municipality (TE) and census division (CD) of the same name, whose geographical code is 81. It is the seat of the judicial district of Hull.It is also the most bilingual (French-English) city in Canada.

Ottawa/Rockcliffe Water Aerodrome (TC LID: CTR7) is located adjacent to Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is a small airport and few Ottawans know of its existence. The airport is the home of the Canada Aviation and Space Museum, which owns the field, and is used and maintained by the Rockcliffe Flying Club. The airport land was originally a military rifle range. In 1918 the Royal Flying Corps began using the field behind the range for experimental mail flights, and the Ottawa/Rockcliffe Airport opened officially in 1920 as the Ottawa Air Station, one of the six original airfields opened across Canada by the new Air Board. Since it is on the shore of the Ottawa River and the runways were connected to the riverfront by a road, it was one of very few airports capable of handling and transferring floatplanes on both land and water. It only services seaplanes and its runway, is the river. It is mainly used by the military, general aviation aircraft, and by hikers, tourists and people attempting to access remote locations that are only accessible by air.

The Rockcliffe Yacht Club is a non-profit Yacht club based on the south shore of the Ottawa River near the Ottawa/Rockcliffe Airport in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada north of the Canada Aviation Museum. It is a 100-member “private co-op” style club. The club originally was part of CFB Rockcliffe but changed to a private club in 1984. The club is centred on a concrete ramp originally used to launch RCAF sea planes. The ramp extends 50 feet (15 m) into the water as when the ramp was built, in the 1930s, the level of the Ottawa river was much lower. In 1964, a dam was put across the Ottawa River for the Carillon Generating Station which raised the water level by 9 feet (2.7 m). As a result, the Rockcliffe Yacht Club has one of the best launching ramps on the Ottawa river.

Canadian Forces Base Rockcliffe (also CFB Rockcliffe) is a former Canadian Forces Base located in the eastern part of Ottawa, Ontario, now used for Ottawa/Rockcliffe Airport and the Canada Aviation and Space Museum. It was formerly known as CFB Ottawa North.

The museum is located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, at Ottawa/Rockcliffe Airport.

Lac Beauchamp Park in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada is a large wooded park of 172 hectares built around a small lake in the middle of the suburban sprawl of the eastern part of the city. In the winter it has 15 km of ski and snowshoe trails. The lake also has a skating area. In the summer, the lake has a supervised swimming beach and canoe rentals. The ski trails are then used by amateur naturalists, hikers and bikers. The park is located about 10 km East of the downtown core of Gatineau and is thus easy to reach from Ottawa by any of the main bridges. The city offers several recreational activities in and around the park chalet. Several groups, such as ornithologists, entomologists, and garden lovers use the building and the nature preserve around it for their activities. There is an annual sand sculpture competition on the beach.

The Centre Slush Puppie is a 4,080-seat arena in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada. It is home to the Gatineau Olympiques of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League. Naming rights for the centre are held by Slush Puppie. The centre also hosts three community rinks, Glace Desjardins, Glace Gérik Construction, and Glace Dilawri Auto, which each have a capacity between 240 and 480.

Manor Park is a neighbourhood in Rideau-Rockcliffe Ward in the east end of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada on the east side of Rockcliffe Park.The neighbourhood is bounded on the north by the Sir George-Étienne Cartier Parkway, on the east by the Aviation Parkway, on the south by Montreal Road and on the west by Birch Road. This area covers Census Tracts 5050060.00 and 5050059.00 which had a combined population of 7,716 as of the Canada 2016 Census. It is an almost exclusively residential area, the great majority of its housing stock having been built in the late 1940s and early 1950s, by a consortium of five Ottawa area developers. Prior to its development, much of the land was slightly marshy treed area, used as riding trails stemming from nearby Mile Circle as well as the Royal Canadian Mounted Police stables, which remain nearby, and are the home of the Musical Ride. It is well treed, with some notable white pines scattered throughout. The first development in what is now Manor Park appeared in the mid-1920s, and was known as Rockcliffe Annex. Following World War II, Manor Park was built over top of Rockcliffe Annex, becoming Ottawa's first post-war subdivision. The first families moved into the neighbourhood in 1947. When it was built, it was considered to be "Canada's first completely co-ordinated community".The Village of Cardinal Glen sub-neighbourhood began to be built by Timberlay Homes in 1988.A small pocket park is named Anthony Vincent Park, after a former Canadian diplomat. Notable local institutions include Manor Park Public School, and St Columba Anglican Church.

Gatineau is a federal electoral district in Quebec, Canada, represented in the House of Commons of Canada from since 1949. Between 1987 and 1996, it was known as "Gatineau—La Lièvre". It consists of part of the former city of Gatineau, Quebec as defined by its pre-2002 boundaries. The adjacent ridings are Hull—Aylmer, Pontiac, Ottawa—Orléans, and Ottawa—Vanier.
