Esher Commons

Esher and Walton () is a constituency in Surrey represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament. Since 2010, it has been represented by Dominic Raab of the Conservative Party, who served as deputy prime minister before resigning in April 2023 due to bullying allegations.

Esher was a borough constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It elected one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election. In the general elections during its 47-year lifetime it was won by three Conservatives successively. In area it shrank in 1974, then regrew in 1983 taking in four sparsely inhabited wards which proved to be temporary, as omitted from the successor seat, Esher and Walton.

Claremont Fan Court School is a co-educational independent school, for pupils from 2½ to 18 years. Situated outside Esher, in Surrey, sixteen miles from London, it is located on the grounds of the Claremont Estate. It is a member of the Society of Heads, the Independent Schools Council (ISC) and the Independent Association of Prep Schools (IAPS).

Claremont, also known historically as 'Clermont', is an 18th-century Palladian mansion less than a mile south of the centre of Esher in Surrey, England. The buildings are now occupied by Claremont Fan Court School, and its landscaped gardens are owned and managed by the National Trust. Claremont House is a Grade I listed building.

Kinfauns was a large 1950s deluxe bungalow in Esher in the English county of Surrey, on the Claremont Estate. From 1964 to 1970, it was the home of George Harrison, lead guitarist of the Beatles. It was where many of the demo recordings for the band's 1968 self-titled double album (also known as the "White Album") were made. The bungalow has since been demolished, and another house built in its place.

Oxshott Heath and Woods is an area of woods and heathland in Oxshott, Surrey, England covering approximately 200 acres (81 ha), as an area of common land. It is owned by a local authority, however historic rights of access and gathering dead wood where necessary for individual fires are shared and exercised by landowners in the parish of Oxshott which has existed since the end of the 19th century, created from the east of the village of Stoke D'Abernon which in this area was extremely scantly populated until the construction of Oxshott railway station.

Claremont Landscape Garden, just outside Esher, Surrey, England, is one of the earliest surviving gardens of its kind of landscape design, the English Landscape Garden — still featuring its original 18th-century layout. The garden is Grade I listed on the Register of Historic Parks and Gardens.

Reed's School is an independent secondary boarding school for boys with a mixed sixth form located in Cobham, Surrey, England. There are currently around 700 day pupils (620 boys, 80 girls) and 100 full-time boarders (80 boys, 20 girls). The school was founded in 1813, by Andrew Reed and incorporated by Act of Parliament in 1845 under the presidency of the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Duke of Wellington and the Marquess of Salisbury. From 1951 until her death in 2022 Queen Elizabeth II acted as the school's 15th patron and visited the school twice, in 1997 and in 2014, as the reigning monarch. Alumni of the school are known as 'Old Reedonians'.

Milbourne Lodge School is a co-educational pre-prep and preparatory school for children aged four to thirteen. Located in Esher, Surrey, the school is housed in a Victorian mansion situated on 8.5 acres (3.4 ha) of Surrey countryside.

Oxshott railway station serves the village of Oxshott, in Surrey, England. It is 16 miles 79 chains (27.3 km) down the line from London Waterloo. The station, and all trains serving it, are operated by South Western Railway. The station is on the New Guildford Line, and is served by trains from Waterloo to Guildford via Cobham.

Moore Place was a historic mansion in Surrey, England. It was known as the "gateway to Esher", the town in which it stood. The building's gate lodge, completed in 1905, is Grade II listed. Moore Place was listed in The Survey Gazetteer of the British Isles in 1914.

West End is a neighbourhood or locality of Esher, Surrey, England centred 0.8 miles (1.3 km) south-west of the town centre. West End comprises a large green, pick-your-own farm with large garden centre, houses, small number of house conversion-style flats, a pub, a disused school building and chapel, grouped around a large green with a pond. It abuts West End Common, which is part of Esher Commons an outcrop of the Bagshot Formation of a subsoil of sands, peats and gravels, being the part of the Commons nearest the River Mole. The settlement became more than an archetypal hamlet in the mid-19th century with many of the houses dating from the Victorian period. West End is also home to a large garden centre - Garsons Garden Centre. The site also houses a farm shop, a children's playground and a pick your own field, particularly popular in summer. Next to Garsons, there is also a bathtub and swimming pool shop, Poolclean. The chapel has been converted to the West End Village Hall, which is used during school term time as the home of West End Playgroup & Forest School. West End Esher Summer Show, also known as West End Flower Show, takes place once a year on West End Common. It originated as a Flower Show more than 50 years ago and has developed into an annual show with many events and activities. There is another West End in Surrey, between Woking and Camberley.
