Roman Catholic Diocese of Bydgoszcz

St. Martin and St. Nicholas Cathedral (Polish: Katedra św. Marcina i Mikołaja), or simply known as Bydgoszcz Cathedral, is a Catholic church built in the 15th century. It has a Gothic style, serves as a parish church and cathedral of the Diocese of Bydgoszcz. It also houses a shrine dedicated to the Virgin Mary. Its address is 10 Farna Street. It is the most valuable architectural monument of the Old Town, standing on the Brda riverside. It has been elevated as a cathedral on March 25, 2004, by decision of then Pope John Paul II. Since November 3, 1960, the cathedral has been registered on the Kuyavian-Pomeranian heritage list.

Bydgoszcz is a city in northern Poland, straddling the confluence of the Vistula River and its left-bank tributary, the Brda. With a city population of 339,053 as of December 2021 and an urban agglomeration with more than 470,000 inhabitants, Bydgoszcz is the eighth-largest city in Poland. Situated between the Vistula and Oder (Odra in Polish) rivers, and by the Bydgoszcz Canal, the city is connected via the Noteć, Warta, Elbe and German canals with the Rhine, a river linked to the Mediterranean and Black Seas by canals and flowing into the North Sea. Bydgoszcz is an architecturally rich city, with gothic, neo-gothic, neo-baroque, neoclassicist, modernist and Art Nouveau styles present, for which it has earned the nickname Little Berlin. The notable granaries on Mill Island and along the riverside belong to one of the most recognized timber-framed landmarks in Poland.

Bydgoszcz Old Market square is an oblong place (about 100 by 125 metres (328 ft × 410 ft)), situated in the old town district of the city of Bydgoszcz. The City Hall flanks one of its side, and nearby is located St. Martin and St. Nicholas Cathedral.

Bydgoszcz Synagogue was an Orthodox Synagogue in Bydgoszcz, Poland. It was built in 1884, based on design by Alfred Muttrey, in the place of the Old wooden Synagogue located at the Pod Blankami Street. Until its destruction in 1939, it was one of the largest structures in Bydgoszcz. It could accommodate 500 persons. The architect of the synagogue, Alfred Muttrey, submitted his design on 27 May 1882. The construction was initiated by Lewin Louis Aronsohn and sponsored financially by the entire Jewish community.

Mill Island (Polish: Wyspa Młyńska) is a historic area located in the Old Town of Bydgoszcz, Poland, covering approximately 6.5 ha: today it is a place with cultural and recreational facilities, surrounded by the Brda river and its branch. The island received the 2012 certificate for Best Tourist Attraction from the Polish Tourist Organisation.
