The Embassy of Mexico in Canada, based out of Ottawa, is the primary diplomatic mission from the United Mexican States to Canada. Relations between the two nations were formally established on 30 January 1944, with Mexico eventually opening a consulate in Montreal in 1952. This consulate was later upgraded to an embassy and moved to Ottawa.

The World Exchange Plaza is an office and retail complex in Downtown Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Consisting of two towers and an outdoor plaza, it covers an entire city block between Metcalfe and O'Connor Streets south of Queen and north of Albert Street. The first phase of the project was completed in 1991. At the time, the twenty-story building was unusual in Ottawa for its visual flair. The eastern side was marked by a large plaza modeled after the Roman Colosseum. The building opened in the middle of a deep recession and initially had trouble being filled. Still, work began on a second tower, which was completed in 2001. This second tower greatly increased the available office space. The two towers hold offices for a variety of companies, including Deloitte, Borden Ladner Gervais (BLG), CTV, Microsoft, Accenture, Norton Rose Fulbright, RBC Dominion Securities, TD Canada Trust, CPAC and Beer Canada. Atop of one tower is the TD logo and atop the other is the BLG logo. The building also houses the Embassy of Mexico to Canada.The World Exchange Plaza contains a small shopping mall located on the ground floor. The mall featured five life-size models of narwhals and belugas that hung from the ceiling. The models were made and donated by the Canadian Museum of Nature and were unveiled on October 29, 1991 in the presence of Princess Diana. In preparation for an extensive renovation of the plaza's ground floor, the sculptures were given back to the Canadian Museum of Nature on November 10, 2021.The complex also featured a movie theatre, the only cinema in the downtown core. The theatre was run by Cineplex Odeon from its opening in 1991 until September 30, 2005 when it was bought by Empire Theatres who operated the theatre until October 29, 2013. The theatre closed on December 29, 2013 when Landmark Cinemas was unable to renew the lease. The space was then converted into office space. On Jan 24, 2017 it was announced that Klipfolio Dashboard would become the first major tenant of this newly renovated space.The complex is managed by QuadReal on behalf of the British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (bcIMC).

Parliament (French: Parlement) is a station on the Confederation Line as part of the O-Train network in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The station is located under O'Connor and Queen Streets in Downtown Ottawa. It has the highest projected use of all new stops on the Confederation Line, with access to Parliament Hill, Sparks Street, the downtown business district, as well as the World Exchange Plaza and Bank Street. The station is also near the CBC Ottawa Production Centre studios.

Built in 1985, Heritage Place is located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and home to many Government of Canada offices. The government departments in the building include Environment Canada and Industry Canada. The building has 14 storeys and offers views of the Sparks Street Mall and Parliament Hill. The building offers underground parking as well as a small café called Biscotti's Coffee House which offers lunch specials and snacks. Since the opening of the Confederation Line in September 2019, the corner of O'Connor and Queen features an integrated entrance to Parliament Station.

Murphy-Gamble Limited was a long-time department store in the City of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The store was located at 118 Sparks Street in a 1909 building designed by C.P. Meredith, and for years used the slogan "Ottawa's Smart Store". Murphy-Gamble's fifth floor restaurant was known as the Rideau Room. Sparks Street was home to many of Ottawa's department stores during the first half of the 20th century, including Murphy-Gamble, C. Ross and Bryson-Graham. Ogilvy's, Freimans and Caplan's were located further east, on Rideau Street. The success of local department stores in Ottawa discouraged the entry of most national chains into the National Capital Region until the 1950s. Murphy-Gamble was purchased by Simpson's in 1971, and the store continued to operate under the Simpson's banner until 1983. The building is now occupied by a branch of Scotiabank. With the closing of the Zellers store in 2013, and the closure of Holt Renfrew at 240 Sparks Street in 2014, there were no department stores left in operation on Sparks Street until Winners moved into the previous Zellers location in 2015.

The Embassy of Ireland is Ireland's embassy in Canada. It is located at 130 Albert Street in the 11th Floor, in the city's downtown core of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Dr. Eamonn C. McKee has served as Ambassador since October 2020.Ireland has a consulate-general in Vancouver and honorary consulates in Calgary, Edmonton, Montreal and St. John's.

The High Commission of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States in Ottawa (OECS) was a regional High Commission office for multiple island-nations that are members of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States. The office was located on Albert Street in the Canadian capital Ottawa. The office was closed permanently in 2011 for financial reasons. It has been replaced by an Eastern Caribbean Liaison Service which works with the Canada/Caribbean Seasonal Agricultural Workers Programme

CBOX-FM (102.5 MHz) is a non-commercial French-language radio station. It broadcasts the Société Radio-Canada's Ici Musique network in Ottawa, Ontario. CBOX's studios are located in the CBC Ottawa Broadcast Centre on Queen Street (across from the Confederation Line light rail station) in Downtown Ottawa, while its transmitter is located in Camp Fortune, Quebec. CBOX-FM plays a variety of music, including adult album alternative (AAA), classical music and jazz. This station signed on for the first time on September 12, 1974, the same day Radio-Canada launched a separate FM service. It was formerly known as CBOF-FM until 1991, when sister station AM 1250 CBOF switched to the FM dial at 90.7 MHz. For a time, CBOX-FM aired one local programme on weekday mornings, Beau temps, mauvais temps, hosted by Jhade Montpetit. This program, which was heard on every station belonging to the Ici Musique network, using local or regional hosts, was cancelled in June 2014, due to cuts to the 2014-2015 CBC/Radio-Canada budget.

The Portrait Gallery of Canada (French: Musée du portrait du Canada) is a federally-registered not-for-profit corporation that currently has no collection or physical presence.On July 30, 2020, the Portrait Gallery of Canada launched its online presence at portraitcanada.ca.Private sector donations and in-kind contributions help the Portrait Gallery of Canada in its ability to pursue its vision and showcase its online exhibitions of portraits of people from across Canada and from all walks of life. Organizers and supporters envision a future when the PGC will: 1) build a world-class collection of historical and contemporary portraits that humanize the stories of Canada’s past and present, and open a window into Canada’s future; 2) host innovative exhibitions in an inspiring physical space that is accessible to visitors of all ages and from all walks of life; and 3) make its future collection and programming accessible to people who live outside the National Capital Region through engaging and interactive web-based and travelling exhibitions.

The Indigenous Peoples Space is a building in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, designated for the use of the First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. The building is located at 100 Wellington Street in Block 2 of Canada's Parliamentary precinct, immediately south of Parliament Hill in downtown Ottawa. The current Beaux-Arts building on site was built in 1931 to house the first permanent United States Embassy in Canada, but was abandoned for a new location in 1999. After remaining vacant for almost 20 years, in 2017, the building was designated to be revitalized as the Indigenous People's Space. The adaptive reuse of the original building is currently being undertaken by three Indigenous architectural firms (David T. Fortin Architect, Smoke Architecture, and Wanda Dalla Costa Architects) to incorporate Indigenous values and teachings into an outer shell-design that is reflective of its people. Included with the 100 Wellington Street building is 119 Sparks Street, originally housing the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, and connecting space.

The Victoria Building is an Art Deco office building in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is located at 140 Wellington Street, just across from the Parliament of Canada. It houses the offices of a number of parliamentarians, mostly members of the Senate of Canada. The building, designed by John Albert Ewart, was completed in 1928 by private developers, though the federal government quickly leased much of it. It has held a wide variety of tenants. It was the first home of the Embassy of France (1928-1939) and the Bank of Canada from 1935 to 1938. It also housed the Japanese legation in 1931. From 1938 to 1964 it housed the CBC and for a time was also the home of Ashbury College. The federal government took over the building in 1973 and in 2003 it was renovated.

The Sir John A. Macdonald Building is a former bank building in Ottawa now owned by the federal government of Canada. It is located at 144 Wellington Street, at the corner of O'Connor Street, with a third frontage on Sparks Street, just in front of West Block of Parliament. Its façade indicates its former heritage as a Bank of Montreal branch location. It is an example of Beaux-Arts architecture. Designed by E.I. Barott, it was built in 1930. It reflects the integration of several styles including classical elements that had long been used to design Canadian banks. The Doric columns or the classical structure are flattened. Rather than classical figures the exterior of the building is carved with scenes depicting Canadian industry and architecture. As the building is on a slope the Sparks Street entrance is a storey below the Wellington Street one. This below grade section is made of granite, while the upper level is of limestone. The Government of Canada ordered the Bank of Montreal to vacate the building before May 2005. The Bank of Montreal was the last commercial building on this downtown street, just in front of the Parliament buildings. Now all buildings on Wellington Street between Elgin Street and the Ottawa River Parkway are Federal Government property. On 11 Jan 2012, the building was renamed the Sir John A. Macdonald Building.As of 2015, the building is used for parliamentary business and reception functions.
