Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport (IATA: AFW, ICAO: KAFW, FAA LID: AFW) is a public airport 14 miles (23 km) north of the central business district of Fort Worth, Texas, United States. The airport is owned by the City of Fort Worth and managed by Alliance Air Services, a subsidiary of Hillwood Development, and is, in size, the second-largest airport facility in North Texas, behind only Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW).The airport is mainly focused on cargo operations, and serves as a southern regional hub for FedEx Express and focus city for Amazon Air. It provides no major commercial passenger airline service, though it does provide general aviation services. It formerly served as a maintenance hub for Fort Worth-based American Airlines, until the bankruptcy filing and subsequent restructuring of its parent AMR Corporation.

V.R. Eaton High School is a public high school in far northern Fort Worth, Texas, with a Haslet mailing address. It is a part of the Northwest Independent School District (NISD). Eaton, NISD's third comprehensive high school, was opened in August 2015 with grades 9–10. In 2018, they were 5A State Champions in baseball.The school's coffeeshop is named Java City. The coffee shop has been closed since the 2021-2022 school year.

Crawford Farms is a neighborhood that is located in north Fort Worth, Texas and is generally bound by Golden Triangle on the north and Old Denton Road on the west. Timber Creek High School is a public high school located in the city of Fort Worth, Texas which is served by the Keller Independent School District. The campus opened its doors in the fall of 2009 and was Keller ISD's fourth high school. Its first graduating class was in the spring of 2012. In 2015, the school was rated "Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency.A majority of the students zoned for TCHS live in the city limits of Fort Worth in an area roughly bordered by Interstate 35 to the west, Highway 170 on the north, Highway 377 to the east, and Heritage Trace Parkway to the south. As of the 2015–2016 school year, the campus housed approximately 3275 students in grades 9-12.The school coffeeshop, The Daily Grind, opened in 2017, the first of its kind in Keller ISD. Students selected the name of the establishment via a poll on Twitter. The coffeeshop makes a "Falconccino", which is similar to a frappucino with the name referring to the school mascot; a student created the name of the drink. Students also designed the appearance of the coffeeshop.

Big Fossil Creek is a stream in Tarrant County, in the U.S. state of Texas.Big Fossil Creek was so named on account of the fossils found there by an early settler. The area of North Fort Worth near Big Fossil Creek is occupied indigenous land where Tawakoni, Wichita, Kiikaapoi, Jumanos, and Nʉmʉnʉʉ would overlap/intersect.The creek's headwaters are located in far northwest Fort Worth near Avondale and Route 287. It then flows southeast through Haltom City, North Richland Hills, and Richland Hills before converging with the West Fork of the Trinity River.

Northwest High School is a public high school located in far northern Fort Worth, Texas, with a Justin postal address. Located in southwest Denton County and classified as a 5A school by the UIL, it is a part of the Northwest Independent School District. The school is located southwest of Texas State Highway 114 and Farm to Market Road 156, about a mile west of the Texas Motor Speedway, and two miles north of Fort Worth Alliance Airport. In 2013, the school was rated "Academically Acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency.Students can choose their courses from 60 subjects. Northwest High School offers many Advanced Placement classes. All of the students at the high school have the option to rent a Chromebook for school use as of the 2016–2017 school year. Northwest was named a 2001-02 National Blue Ribbon School.

The Paw Paw Formation is a geological formation in Texas whose strata date back to the late Albian stage of the Early Cretaceous. Dinosaur remains are among the fossils that have been recovered from the formation.

Hicks Field (Camp Taliaferro Field #1) is a former World War I military airfield, located 5.6 miles (9.0 km) North-northwest of Saginaw, Texas. It operated as a training field for the Air Service, United States Army between 1917 until 1920. It was one of thirty-two Air Service training camps established after the United States entry into World War I in April 1917.After the United States' entry into World War I in April 1917, General John J. Pershing invited the British Royal Flying Corps to establish training fields in Texas for the training of American and Canadians volunteers because of its mild weather. After looking at sites in Dallas, Fort Worth, Waco, Austin, Wichita Falls and Midland, three sites were established in 1917 in the Fort Worth vicinity (known as the "Flying Triangle."), those being Hicks Field (#1), Barron Field (#2), and Benbrook Field (#3). Canadians named the training complex Camp Taliaferro after Walter Taliaferro, a US aviator who had been killed in an accident. Camp Taliaferro was headquartered under the direction of the Air Service, United States Army, which had an administration center near what is now the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, Texas. After the closing of Hicks Field, there was a new airport opened called "Hicks Airfield".

Fossil Ridge High School (FRHS) is an American public high school located in northeast Fort Worth, Texas. It is the second high school inside the Keller Independent School District. Most nearby schools such as Fossil Hill Middle School and Vista Ridge Middle School graduates feed into Fossil Ridge. According to U.S. News & World Report, Fossil Ridge High School is ranked at #1,473 as one of the highest ranked high schools in the United States. In Texas, it is ranked at #142 as one of the highest ranked schools and was certified Silver.

Central High School is a public high school in north Fort Worth, Texas, United States. The school is located entirely within the Keller Independent School District, and primarily serves neighborhoods adjacent to Highway 377 to the east and North Beach Street to the west. As of the 2021-2022 school year, the campus housed 2,598 students in grades 9-12. As of 2015, the school was rated "Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency.

The North Texas Intermediate Sanction Facility (NTISF (GEO Group acronym) or XL (TDCJ acronym)) was a privately operated prison facility located in northern Fort Worth, Texas. It was operated by the GEO Group on behalf of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. The facility was on the east side of Blue Mound Road, about 1 mile (1.6 km) south of Interstate 820 and north of Downtown Fort Worth.The GEO Group was awarded the contract to operate the center on August 16, 1991. The center opened in August 1991. The facility housed short term parole violators.The facility, with capacity to house 432 prisoners, had about 100 employees. Prisoners typically stayed for 60 to 100 days. The longest incarceration was for six months. In 2011 GEO stated that it wanted to continue to operate the facility. In 2011 the state of Texas decided not to renew its contract with the facility.
