Rego Park is a neighborhood in the borough of Queens in New York City. Rego Park is bordered to the north by Elmhurst and Corona, to the east and south by Forest Hills, and to the west by Middle Village. Rego Park's boundaries include Queens Boulevard, the Long Island Expressway, Woodhaven Boulevard, and Yellowstone Boulevard. There is a large Jewish population in the neighborhood, which features high-rise apartment buildings and detached houses, as well as a large commercial zone. Rego Park is located in Queens Community District 6 and its ZIP Code is 11374. It is patrolled by the New York City Police Department's 112th Precinct. Politically, Rego Park is represented by the New York City Council's 29th District and a small part of the 24th and 25th Districts.

The Rego Park Jewish Center (1948) is an Art Deco Streamline Moderne synagogue in the Rego Park neighborhood of Queens, New York City. The architectural firm of Frank Grad & Sons designed the building. The facade features a mosaic by Hungarian-born artist A. Raymond Katz.It is listed on both the New York State and National Register of Historic Places.

Elmhurst Sculpture Garden is an outdoor community garden where artists can exhibit sculptures, multimedia installations, musical and dance performances. The garden is located one block away from the Queens Center Mall and near the Long Island Expressway in the neighborhood of Elmhurst, Queens, New York City. In addition to providing an arts exhibition space, the garden offers a community art program in collaborative sculpting.

LeFrak City (originally spelled Lefrak and pronounced le-FRAK) is a 4,605-apartment development in the southernmost region of Corona and the easternmost part of Elmhurst, a neighborhood in the New York City borough of Queens. It is located between Junction Boulevard to the west, 57th Avenue to the north, 99th Street to the east, and the Long Island Expressway to the south.

La Stella Restaurant was an Italian restaurant in Forest Hills, Queens. La Stella was opened by Joe and Jack Taliercio in 1970. It closed in 1992. Tony Talierico later opened a location in Sunrise, Florida. On the morning of June 2, 1970, a pipe bomb exploded outside the restaurant knocking in the front door, smashing in the front window and starting a small fire.

Long Island Jewish Forest Hills is a teaching hospital operating under the Northwell Health hospital network. It is located in Forest Hills, Queens, New York. The hospital is affiliated with the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, which sponsors a residency program in internal medicine. The hospital also serves as the host of a podiatry residency program.

The Woodhaven Boulevard station is a local station on the IND Queens Boulevard Line of the New York City Subway, consisting of four tracks. Located in Elmhurst, Queens, it is served by the M train on weekdays, the R train at all times except nights, and the E train at night. The station serves the adjacent Queens Center Mall, as well as numerous bus lines. Woodhaven Boulevard was opened on December 31, 1936, as Woodhaven Boulevard–Slattery Plaza. At the time, the station was part of the Independent Subway System. The plaza was demolished in the 1950s, but the name tablets displaying the station's original name were kept. In the 1980s, the Woodhaven Boulevard station was renamed after Queens Center, an adjacent shopping mall. The station was renovated in the 1990s.
