Beth Alpha (Hebrew: בית אלפא; Bet Alpha, Bet Alfa) is a sixth-century CE synagogue located at the foot of the northern slopes of the Gilboa mountains near Beit She'an, Israel. It is now part of Bet Alfa Synagogue National Park and managed by the Israel Nature and Parks Authority.

Beit Alfa (Hebrew: בֵּית אַלְפָא; also Beit Alpha, Bet Alpha and Bet Alfa) is a kibbutz in the Northern District of Israel, founded in 1922 by immigrants from Poland. Located at the base of the Gilboa ridge, it falls under the jurisdiction of Gilboa Regional Council. As of 2021 its population was 1,355.

The Harod Stream Hebrew: נחל חרוד, romanized: Nahal Harod, Arabic: نهر جالود, romanized: Wadi Jalud is a stream in Israel that flows west to east, from the Givat HaMoreh area via the Harod Valley and Beit She'an Valley into the Jordan River, about two kilometres (1.2 mi) north of Ma'oz Haim. It is the main drainage route of the Harod ValleyThe elevation is 500 metres (1,600 ft) above sea level at the source and 230 metres (750 ft) below sea level at the mouth (at 32.5144°N 35.5528°E / 32.5144; 35.5528). The drainage basin is 180 km2 (69 sq mi).The total length from the source to mouth is 31 km (19 mi), but the length of the non-intermittent flow is 20 to 22 km (12 to 14 mi). While the original sources of the water are karst springs, most of the stream's water comes from the discharge of numerous fish ponds, irrigation systems, and sewage. Rain floods are rare, and the upper flow of the stream is dry during most of the time. The network of the stream and its tributaries is mostly man-made, and natural riverbeds are preserved at the southern steep slopes of the valley.

Gan HaShlosha National Park (Hebrew: גן השלושה, literally: "Park of the three"), also known by its Arabic name Sakhne (Arabic: الساخنة, literally: "The hot [pool]"), is a national park in Israel. Located between kibbutzim Beit Alfa and Nir David, it has naturally warm water where visitors can swim all year. It is named in memory of three Jewish pioneers who came to survey the land on behalf of the Jewish National Fund in 1938, when their car rode over a land mine and all three were killed.The spring water that emerges in the western part of the park maintains a constant, year-round temperature of 28 degrees Celsius. Amal Stream, which crosses the park, has been widened into pools.An old water-powered mill operates at the site and an adjacent madafeh, or Arab hospitality room, has been restored. A 1:1 reconstruction of Tel Amal, one of the first "Tower and Stockade" settlements set up by Jewish pioneers during the 1936–39 Arab Revolt – in this case on 10 December 1936 – is located in the park. The Museum of Regional and Mediterranean Archaeology is located on the grounds of the park. It houses a display of rare Greek tools, artifacts from excavations in the Beit She’an Valley and an exhibit about the Etruscans.The park is also home to the Israeli Juggling Convention, the second-largest juggling convention in the world, drawing in over 2,000 jugglers each year.

Gilboa Prison (Hebrew: בית הסוהר גלבוע) is a high security prison in northern Israel, less than 6 km (4 mi) from the West Bank. It was built in 2004.

The Harod Valley (Hebrew: עמק חרוד, romanized: Emek Harod) is a valley in the Northern District of Israel. It is the eastern part of the Jezreel Valley,a transitional zone that extends to the Beit She'an Valley. From south it locked by Mount Gilboa and by the Issachar Plateau from north. It is named after the Ma'ayan Harod ("Spring of Harod", i.e., "Spring of Goliath") at the edge of the valley. It is naturally separated from the western part of the Jezreel valley by a watershed. While the Jezreel Valley is drained via the Kishon River to the Mediterranean Sea, the Harod Valley is drained through the Harod Stream ("Nahal Harod", "Wadi Jalud" in Arabic), which flows from Givat HaMoreh via Beit She'an Valley into the Jordan River. Ma'ayan Harod is the largest of the springs emerging on the northern slopes of Mount Gilboa. The source of the spring as well as other springs in the Beit She'an Valley to the east, comes from fresh rainwater that percolate into the limestone hills of Samaria and collect in an underground water reservoir beneath the areas of the Palestinian cities of Nablus and Jenin. The water emerges from the hills as they incline north towards the valleys. At this valley the waters emerge from a natural cave known as "Gideon's Cave".The valley covers about 40 sq.km. and is intensely cultivated. It is a corridor 18 km. long and 5 km. max wide. The exact border between the Harod Valley and the Beit She'an Valley depends on the conventions. For example, according to soil and precipitation parameters the border is the Sde Nahum - Beit Alfa line, while according to the climate, the border is defined by Kfar Yehezkel. The climate of the valley transitions from the Mediterranean climate of the western part of the Jezreel Valley to the arid dry-steppe climate of the Jordan Valley. There is a fault line between Mount Gilboa and the floor of the valley, with many spring along the line. Until the mid-20th century the valley was swamped, similarly to the Jordan Valley. Now the swamps are drained.

Nir David (Hebrew: נִיר דָּוִד, lit. David's Meadow) is a kibbutz in the Beit She'an Valley in northern Israel. Founded on 10 December 1936 as Tel Amal, the first of the tower and stockade settlements, it falls under the jurisdiction of Valley of Springs Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 743.

Faqqu'a (Arabic: فقوعة) is a village on the northern West Bank, known for its cactus fruits, located along the Green Line on the Gilboa ridge. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, the town had a population of 3,490 inhabitants in mid-year 2006 and 4,410 in 2017, an exclusively Muslim population. The village belongs to the Jenin Governorate.

Al-Sakhina (Arabic: الساخنة), was a Palestinian Arab village in the District of Baysan. It was located five kilometres west of Baysan on the Jalud River on its way to the Jordan River. It was depopulated by the Israel Defense Forces during the 1947–1948 Civil War in Mandatory Palestine on May 12, 1948, as part of Operation Gideon.

Beit HaShita (Hebrew: בֵּית הַשִּׁטָּה, lit. House of the Acacia) is a kibbutz in northern Israel, under the jurisdiction of Gilboa Regional Council. As of 2021 it had a population of 1,258.

Yeshivat Ma'ale Gilboa (Hebrew: ישיבת מעלה גלבוע) is a Shiluv Yeshiva located on Kibbutz Ma'ale Gilboa in Israel's Gilboa Mountains. The Shiluv Yeshiva is unique in that it combines two years of Torah study with the full three years of army service. This is in contrast to students from Hesder Yeshivot, which only serve in the army for a year and a half and complete three and a half years of Torah study. The Yeshiva emphasizes a commitment to rigorous Torah study, intellectual openness, intellectual disagreement and social consciousness.
