Built in 1792, it is well-preserved example of period domestic architecture, and is further notable for a procession of owners important in the community's history. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

The Greenwood Avenue Historic District encompasses the historic commercial village center of Bethel, Connecticut. Extending along Greenwood Avenue from P.T. Barnum Square to Depot Place, the district includes a variety of commercial and residential architecture from the mid-19th to early 20th centuries. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

The Seth Seelye House, now the Bethel Public Library, is a historic building at 189 Greenwood Street in Bethel, Connecticut. Built in 1842, the house is gable-fronted, with four relatively slender Doric style columns in a portico supporting the gable-front pediment above. A modern two-story wing extends the building to the rear. It is a fine local example of Greek Revival architecture, and was built for a member of a leading Danbury business family. (Bethel was set off from Danbury in 1855.)The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.

WFAR (93.3 FM) is a radio station licensed to serve Danbury, Connecticut. The station is owned by Danbury Community Radio, Inc. It airs a Christian radio format from 2 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day with the remaining time filled by a variety of ethnic and local programming blocks. The station broadcasts in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian.The station was assigned the WFAR call letters by the Federal Communications Commission on January 20, 1984.

The John Oliver Memorial Sewer Plant is a sewage treatment plant in Danbury, Connecticut, named after British-American comedian and political satirist John Oliver. The plant was completely renovated in response to a 2008 order from state and federal agencies to address the inability of the existing sewage system to curtail phosphorus concentrations in wastewater, as well as other environmental issues. After Oliver made fun of Danbury on his show, Last Week Tonight, Danbury mayor Mark Boughton responded by offering to rename their $100-million sewage plant for Oliver. Boughton later told reporters that it was a joke, but after Oliver offered $55,000 to local charities in exchange for the plant's renaming, the city agreed to officially term the site the "John Oliver Memorial Sewer Plant". Construction began in 2019, and was finished in October 2020, with Oliver personally attending the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Putnam Memorial State Park is a history-oriented public recreation area in the town of Redding, Connecticut. The state park preserves the site that Major General Israel Putnam chose as the winter encampment for his men in the winter of 1778/1779 during the American Revolutionary War. It is Connecticut's oldest state park, created in 1887 at the instigation of Redding town residents. The park was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1970.In addition to its historic features, the park's 183 acres (74 ha) include facilities for hiking, picnicking, pond fishing, and winter sports. The park is located at the intersection of Route 107 and Route 58 and is managed by the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.

General Israel Putnam, also known as Putnam's Escape at Horseneck, is an equestrian statue at the Putnam Memorial State Park in Redding, Connecticut, United States. The statue was designed by sculptor Anna Hyatt Huntington and dedicated in 1969 in honor of Connecticut native Israel Putnam, a military officer who served in the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War.
