Dzierzków [ˈd͡ʑɛʂkuf] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Dobromierz, within Świdnica County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) north of Dobromierz, 21 kilometres (13 mi) north-west of Świdnica, and 59 kilometres (37 mi) west of the regional capital Wrocław.

Roztoka [rɔsˈtɔka] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Dobromierz, within Świdnica County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) north of Dobromierz, 20 kilometres (12 mi) north-west of Świdnica, and 60 kilometres (37 mi) west of the regional capital Wrocław. The German name of the village, Rohnstock, originates from Old High German "rono", Middle High German "rone" = tree trunk and “stoc" = stock of trees and came about because the trees were felled at this point and the (root) stocks were cleaned. An earlier city seal shows a wooden stick with two axes (rode). In 1305 the name of the place was first mentioned in the "Liber Foundationis..." as Rostock. The place is best known for the Rohnstock Castle of the same name, where Frederick the Great stayed in 1745 during the Battle of Hohenfriedberg. The castle was owned by the Counts of Hochberg til 1945. Until 1945, Rohnstock, which had around 1,600 inhabitants at the time, belonged to the district of Jauer in the German province of Lower Silesia. The last German inhabitants were expelled in July 1946 after the ethnic cleansing of the region by Polish authorities after the annexation of Silesia.

Gross-Rosen was a network of Nazi concentration camps built and operated by Nazi Germany during World War II. The main camp was located in the German village of Gross-Rosen, now the modern-day Rogoźnica in Lower Silesian Voivodeship, Poland; directly on the rail-line between the towns of Jawor (Jauer) and Strzegom (Striegau). Its prisoners were mostly Jews, Poles and Soviet citizens.At its peak activity in 1944, the Gross-Rosen complex had up to 100 subcamps located in eastern Germany and in German-occupied Czechoslovakia and Poland. The population of all Gross-Rosen camps at that time accounted for 11% of the total number of inmates incarcerated in the Nazi concentration camp system.

Rogoźnica (Polish pronunciation: ['rɔɡɔʑˈɲit͡sa]) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Strzegom, within Świdnica County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. Rogoźnica lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) north-west of Strzegom, 21 kilometres (13 mi) north-west of Świdnica, and 54 kilometres (34 mi) west of the regional capital Wrocław. The oldest known mention of Rogoźnica comes from a document from 1291. It was also mentioned in the medieval Polish chronicle Liber fundationis episcopatus Vratislaviensis, created a few years later. It was part of medieval Poland ruled by the Piast dynasty. In later periods the village was also part of Bohemia, Hungary, Austria, Prussia and Germany, before being reintegrated with Poland in 1945 after the defeat of Nazi Germany in World War II. There are two historic churches in the village: the church of Simon and Jude Thaddeus and the church of Our Lady of the Rosary.
