The Bras Saint-Nicolas (in English: Saint-Nicolas Arm) is a tributary of the south-eastern bank of the rivière du Sud (Montmagny), which flows north-east to the south bank of the St. Lawrence River. The Bras Saint-Nicolas flows in the municipalities of Sainte-Apolline-de-Patton, Cap-Saint-Ignace, Saint-Cyrille-de-Lessard, Saint-Eugène, Notre-Dame-de-Bonsecours and Montmagny, in the Montmagny Regional County Municipality, in the administrative region of Chaudière-Appalaches, in Quebec, in Canada.

Montmagny (French pronunciation: [mɔ̃maɲi]) is a city in the Montmagny Regional County Municipality within the Chaudière-Appalaches region of Quebec, Canada. It is the county seat and had a population, as of the Canada 2021 Census, of 10,999. The city is on the south shore of the Saint Lawrence River, east of Quebec City, and was founded more than 350 years ago. It is Canada's Snow Goose Capital, and festivals include the International Accordion Festival in September and the Festival of the Snow Geese in October. The city was named after Charles de Montmagny, the first to have the title of governor of New France; Samuel de Champlain was commander in chief. Montmagny was the county seat of the former Montmagny County.

The ZEC Oie-Blanche-de-Montmagny is a "zone d'exploitation contrôlée" (controlled harvesting zone) (ZEC) in the municipality of Montmagny, in Montmagny Regional County Municipality (MRC), in the administrative region of Chaudière-Appalaches, in Quebec, in Canada. Provincial court (via the Department of Wildlife and Parks of Quebec), the ZEC was incorporated on June 1, 1987 and is the only one in the Quebec for hunting migratory birds. This watercourse flows in the municipalities of Saint-Pierre-de-la-Rivière-du-Sud and Montmagny, in the Montmagny Regional County Municipality, in the administrative region of Chaudière-Appalaches, in Quebec, in Canada.

The Autodrome Montmagny is a multi-track motorsport venue located in Montmagny (Canada), approximately 80 km east of Quebec City. The facility features a 3/8-mile-long oval track, a 2 km road course and a dragstrip. Inaugurated in 1994, it was originally a one-half-mile oval dirt track (about 0.8 km). In 1998, it was paved and reduced to its present oval length. The road course was built for the 2014 season, using the oval track. The racetrack was the property of the American stock car driver Ralph Nason for a decade before being sold to local owners in 2010. The track hosts stock car races (Quebec's ACT Series, PASS North, Sportsman Quebec) and drift competition (Drift Mania Canadian Championship). It is scheduled to host the season finale of the NASCAR Canada Series in 2024.

The Battle of Saint-Pierre was a military confrontation on March 25, 1776, near the Quebec village of Saint-Pierre, south of Quebec City. This confrontation, which occurred during the Continental Army's siege of Quebec following its defeat at the Battle of Quebec, was between forces that were both largely composed of Canadian militia, including individuals on both sides of the conflict that had been recruited in the same communities. The Patriot forces routed the Loyalist forces, killing at least 3 and capturing more than 30.
