Lebovic Centre for Arts & Entertainment – Nineteen on the Park is an arts and entertainment venue in Stouffville, Ontario and one of the few historic buildings remaining in the town.

CIWS-FM is a Canadian radio station, which broadcasts a community radio format on 102.9 FM (formerly 102.7 FM) in Whitchurch–Stouffville, Ontario. In November 2006, WhiStle Radio was granted a licence by the CRTC to operate as a low power community radio station. The new station would operate at 102.7 MHz (channel 274LP) with an effective radiated power of 50 watts. The station formally launched on March 17, 2008.[2]. WhiStle Radio was awarded the Hall of Fame award by the Whitchurch–Stouffville Chamber of Commerce in September 2010. On November 29, 2012, WhiStle Community Radio was denied a licence to change CIWS-FM's class from LP to A, changing the antenna's radiation pattern from non-directional to directional, increasing the average effective radiated power (ERP) from 50 to 193 watts (maximum ERP from 50 to 675 watts) and increasing the antenna's effective height above average terrain (HAAT) from 12 to 138 metres.In the decision to deny the technical change, the CRTC said "The Commission finds that the licensee has not presented any compelling technical need for its request to change its class and increase its power." The CRTC also noted that "The applicant cited an agreement to function as an emergency broadcaster in support of its application" but that this agreement is contrary to Broadcasting Order 2009-340 and Broadcasting Decision 2011-438 and re-iterated in the decision that it is "inappropriate for any given broadcaster to act as the designated emergency broadcaster". The Commission noted further that "The licensee did not file an annual return for CIWS-FM and for the 2007-2008 broadcast year, and annual returns for the 2008-2009, 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 broadcast years were either filed late or were incomplete." and "The Commission advises the licensee that the non-compliance will be considered at the time of the renewal of its licence. At that time, the Commission will review the circumstances that led to the non-compliance in question, the licensee's arguments and the measures taken to rectify the situation." On April 11, 2016, the CRTC approved WhiStle Community Radio's application to change CIWS-FM's frequency from 102.7 MHz (channel 274LP) to 102.9 MHz (channel 275LP). Other technical parameters would remain unchanged. On May 18, 2016, CIWS-FM moved from 102.7 MHz to its current frequency at 102.9 MHz and changed its branding to WhiStleFM.

Lincolnville is a community and former hamlet situated in the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville, Ontario, Canada. Lincolnville is located at the intersection of Bloomington Road / Regional Road 40 (formerly Highway 47), York Durham Town Line / Regional Road 30 and Tenth Line (or 10th Concession Road). Beyond an inn, saw mills and gravel pits (still in operation), it did not evolve as much as other halmets in Whitchurch-Stouffville. The nearest post office in the 19th century was located further west in Bloomington. Toronto and Nipissing Railway built their line that crossed south in 1877 but stations were only found to the east in Goodwood and west in Stouffville. Subsequent owners do not service Lincolnville until GO Transit established a station in 2008 but was renamed Old Elm GO Station in October 2021. The former hamlet remains a rural and mainly agricultural area with a few residential lots. The hamlet name's origin is unknown but likely shares the same links to Abraham Lincoln as those in the United States and one in Nova Scotia. Maps from the 19th century (namely 1860s and 1870s) through into today often fail to mention the hamlet's existence.

Stouffville GO Station is a railway station in the GO Transit network located in Stouffville, Ontario, Canada. It was the northern terminus of the Stouffville line train service until the line was extended to Lincolnville (now Old Elm) on September 2, 2008. Buses serve the station from stops on the street due to space limitations. York-Durham Heritage Railway runs historical trains between the station and Uxbridge on summer weekends.

Wheler's on Main is a residential development (subdivision) in the community of Stouffville and in the town of Whitchurch–Stouffville, in York Region, Ontario, Canada. It is located north of 19th Avenue, south of Stouffville Road (Main Street), west of York-Durham Line and east of Ninth Line. The name Wheler's on Main can be found on stone plaques erected on the side and on the stone median of the road at main arterial road entrances of developed regions of the community, such as the intersection of Ninth Line and Hoover Park Drive. Between 1817 and 1824 a sawmill and gristmill were built on Duffin's Creek. These were destroyed by fire, but were rebuilt. Around the time of Abraham Stouffer's death, the mills were sold to Edward Wheler. Hence, Wheler's on Main is named after Edward Wheler, the post-owner of the two main mills of Stouffville (Formerly known as Stoufferville, named after the founder, Abraham's, family name Stouffer). Demographically, the Wheler's on Main subdivision is the most ethnically diverse community in Whitchurch–Stouffville. The Education Quality and Accountability School Reports for 2009 show 28% of the Grade Three students at the Oscar Peterson Public School, located in the middle of this new community, first spoke a language other than English at home.

Stouffville () is the primary urban area within the town of Whitchurch-Stouffville in York Region, Ontario, Canada. It is situated within the Greater Toronto Area and the inner ring of the Golden Horseshoe. The urban area is centred at the intersection of Main Street (York Regional Road 14), Mill Street, and Market Street. Between 2006 and 2011, the population of the Community of Stouffville grew 100.5% from 12,411 to 24,886, or from 51% to 66% of the total population of the larger town of Whitchurch-Stouffville. The population of Stouffville from the 2021 census is 36,753.

Stouffville Aerodrome (TC LID: CBB2) is located 1.7 nautical miles (3.1 km; 2.0 mi) northwest of Stouffville Ontario, Canada. The private airfield is home to Ultralight aviation aircraft stored in a heated hanger.

Bloomington is a hamlet in York Region, Ontario, Canada, in the town of Whitchurch-Stouffville. The hamlet is centred at the intersection of Ninth Line and Bloomington Road near the eastern boundary of the town of Whitchurch–Stouffville. Neighbouring communities within Whitchurch–Stouffville include Musselman Lake to the north, Lemonville to the west, and the community of urban Stouffville to the south. The hamlet of Goodwood in the town of Uxbridge lies to the east.

Glasgow is a community located in the Regional Municipality of Durham in Ontario, Canada. It is located on the edge of lands designated for a future international airport (Pickering Airport), immediately east of the community of Stouffville and north of the ghost-town of Altona. There was a Mennonite church formed in Glasgow in 1930.

Stouffville District Secondary School (SDSS) is a public secondary school, and is the only secondary school located in the Town of Whitchurch–Stouffville. It is administered by the York Region District School Board.

Markham—Stouffville is a provincial electoral district in Ontario. It encompasses a portion of Ontario formerly included in the electoral districts of Markham—Unionville (provincial electoral district) and Oak Ridges—Markham (provincial electoral district). The boundaries of the provincial riding of Markham—Stouffville are identical with those of the new federal riding of Markham—Stouffville, created by the 2012 federal electoral boundaries redistribution. The provincial redistribution came into effect upon the call of the 42nd Ontario provincial election in June 2018.The territory of the new riding (map) consists of part of the Regional Municipality of York: (a) the Town of Whitchurch–Stouffville; and (b) the part of the City of Markham lying easterly of a line described as follows: commencing at the intersection of the northerly limit of Markham with Highway 48; then southerly along Highway 48 to 16th Avenue; then westerly to McCowan Road; then southerly to Highway 407; then easterly along Highway 407 to the Rouge River; then generally southeasterly along Rouge River to the southerly limit of Markham. The riding's population is estimated at 109,780.

Markham—Stouffville is a federal electoral district in Ontario, Canada. It encompasses a portion of Ontario previously included in the electoral districts of Markham—Unionville and Oak Ridges—Markham.Markham—Stouffville was created by the 2012 federal electoral boundaries redistribution and was legally defined in the 2013 representation order. It came into effect upon the dropping of the writs for the 2015 federal election. Helena Jaczek has represented the riding since the 2019 federal election.
