Avon Five Arch Bridge is a historic railroad arch bridge located at Avon in Livingston County, New York. It was built in 1856–1857 by the Rochester-Avon-Geneseo-Mount Morris Railroad (later Erie Railroad). The bridge measures 200 feet long, 12 feet wide, and approximately 30 feet high. It consists of five elliptical arches built of ashlar on limestone piers. The rail line was abandoned in 1941, and the bridge stabilized in 1992. It is located in a public park.The Five Arch Bridge is mentioned in the country song "Big Iron Horses" by Restless Heart (1992). Singer/drummer John Dittrich recounted memories he had as a child, watching trains in Avon, New York with his grandfather. While the song does take liberty with the age of the bridge and the singer's age, he did watch trains with his grandfather in and was a resident of Avon. John likely watched the steam locomotives and trains roll by on the railroad tracks near the bridge. The bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.

It is a three-story, two part commercial block completed in 1876 in the Italianate style. It has a symmetrical seven bay principal facade with iron and glass storefronts on the first floor. The top floor performance space was a central gathering place for the community, where citizens of all ranks could congregate to attend theatrical performances, lectures, dances, political meetings, and school graduations. In November 2007, the village of Avon received a $500,000 state grant to renovate the historic building.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.

First Methodist Episcopal Church of Avon, also known as Avon United Methodist Church, is a historic Methodist Episcopal church located at Avon in Livingston County, New York. It was designed by Rochester architect James Goold Cutler and built in 1879. It is a three- by five-bay Romanesque style brick building. The principal elevation is flanked by an engaged tower at the south end and low pavilion and chimney on the north. The center of the principal elevation is accented by a large recessed round arch at the upper level that contains a large center oculus window flanked by two small vertical windows.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

Avon Inn is an historic inn located in Avon, USA, in Livingston County, New York. The main block was built in the 1840s as a residence in the Greek Revival style. The five bay structure features a two-story portico supported by massive Ionic columns. In 1882, the building was expanded and remodeled for use as a sanitarium. It was expanded and remodeled in 1912, when it was converted for use as an inn and banquet hall. At this time a notable Colonial Revival style dining room was added.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on April 16, 1991.In 2016, The Inn began significant renovations to reopen in 2018 under new ownership.
