Byeongjeom station

Sema Station is a station on Seoul Subway Line 1 in the city of Osan, South Korea. Services on the Gyeongbu Line also pass through this station.

Seodongtan Station is a station on Line 1 of the Seoul Metropolitan Subway. It serves the cities of Hwaseong and Osan in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. The station takes its name (literally West Dongtan) from its local area of the city of Hwaseong, but straddles the border with Osan, in which it is mostly located and its postal address lies.

Doksan Fortress (Hangul: 독산성, Hanja: 禿山城) is a Korean hill fort located in Osan, South Korea. It is known for the Siege of Doksan in 1593, where the Japanese failed to defeat Gwon Yul during the Imjin War. Located within the fort are the Bujek Buddhist Temple and the Semadae, a monument to Gwon Yul's victory. The site is designated as a Historic Site of South Korea. The annual Doksanseong Culture and Art Festival takes place near the fort each September.

Yongjoosa is a head temple of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism. It is located in on the slopes of Hwasan in Taean-eup, Hwaseong, in the province of Gyeonggi, South Korea. The temple's name means "dragon jewel temple." Two large bells in the temple are believed to date to the Unified Silla period. One of them, the "Bell of Yongjoosa", is designated national treasure 120. The temple was initially established in 854 AD, under the name Garyangsa. It was expanded in the 10th century. It was rebuilt in the late 18th century under the orders of Jeongjo in honor of his deceased father, Prince Sado. This is one of few cases where the Joseon royal house supported Buddhism directly. At this time the temple changed to its current name. The temple is located near Seoul Subway Line 1, and is also connected to Suwon by intercity bus.

The Battle of Osan (Korean: 오산 전투) was the first engagement between the United States and North Korea during the Korean War. On July 5, 1950, Task Force Smith, an American task force of 540 infantry supported by an artillery battery, was moved to Osan, south of Seoul, the capital of South Korea, and was ordered to fight as a rearguard to delay the advancing North Korean forces while more US troops arrived to form a stronger defensive line to the south. The task force lacked both anti-tank guns and effective infantry anti-tank weapons and had been equipped with obsolete 2.36-inch (60 mm) rocket launchers and a few 57 mm recoilless rifles. Aside from a limited number of HEAT shells for the unit's 105 mm howitzers, crew-served weapons that could defeat T-34/85 tanks from the Soviet Union had not yet been distributed to the US Army forces in South Korea. A North Korean tank column equipped with ex-Soviet T-34/85 tanks overran the task force in the first encounter and continued its advance south. After the North Korean tank column had breached US lines, the task force opened fire on a force of some 5,000 North Korean infantry that were approaching its position, which held up their advance. North Korean troops eventually flanked and overwhelmed the US positions, and the rest of the task force retreated in disorder.

Metapolis is a complex of four residential skyscrapers in Hwaseong, South Korea With the ground broken in July 2006 by POSCO E&C and the buildings topped-out in August 2009, the structures were completed in July 2010. The two tallest towers (#101 and #104) have heights of 249m and 247m respectively and 66 storeys each, making them the third-tallest residential skyscrapers in South Korea and the centerpiece of the New Dongtan City. The two shorter skyscrapers are 60 (#102) and 55 (#103) floors in height, measuring 224m and 203m respectively.

Seryu Station is a station on Line 1 of the Seoul Metropolitan Subway. It is in southern Suwon. Near Seryu Station lies Suwon Air Base, home to the ROKAF's 10th Fighter Wing. It is between Suwon station and Byeongjeom station.

Yonggeonneung is a burial ground from the Joseon dynasty, located within an oak-forested park in Hwaseong, South Korea. Yongneung is the tomb of Crown Prince Sado and Lady Hyegyeong (posthumously honored as King Jangjo and Queen Heongyeong), while Geonneung houses King Jeongjo and Queen Hyoui. They are an UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Suwon Bus Terminal is the main intercity and express bus station serving Suwon, a city in South Korea's north-west province of Gyeonggi-do. The station is located in Gwonseon-gu, 2.6km south-east of Suwon Station. Standing beside a branch of E-Mart, it is not to be confused with West Suwon Bus Terminal, which is located adjacent to a different branch of the same store.

MaetanGwonseon Station is a subway station of the Suin–Bundang Line, the commuter subway line of Korail, the national railway of South Korea. The station was opened in November 2013, as part of the final extension of the Bundang Line.

Osan University Station is a station on Seoul Subway Line 1. Osan University, despite the name of the station, is about a mile away from this station, and is closer to the next station on Line 1.
