Northern Regional College (or NRC) is a third level educational institution in Northern Ireland, United Kingdom. The college has six campuses around the north-east of Northern Ireland (County Antrim and eastern County Londonderry): Ballymena (Trostan Avenue and Farm Lodge campuses), Ballymoney, Coleraine, Magherafelt and Newtownabbey. It also had a campus in Antrim and Larne but these have closed.

Antrim railway station opened 1848 and serves the town of Antrim in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. The station currently serves trains on the Belfast to Derry line via Bleach Green and Yorkgate station. Until 2003, Belfast-Derry trains reached here by means of the Lisburn-Antrim railway line, however, this line was mothballed after re-opening of the Bleach Green line. There is still the old platform for the Lisburn-Antrim line but has been cut back to allow room, on the other side of a fence, for the bus stands. The possibility of reopening it as a circular route, with a halt at Aldergrove for Belfast International Airport has been discussed. The station has undergone a major refurbishment to become an integrated bus and rail hub. In total, the station had 4 platforms. One is completely disused, two in use, and one that has been shortened and rarely used.

Antrim railway station (Great Northern) served Antrim in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It was located on the mothballed Lisburn-Antrim railway line. The town is now served by Antrim railway station.

Parkhall Integrated College is an integrated co-educational non-selective secondary school in Antrim, County Antrim, Northern Ireland. There are 1,100 students aged between 11 and 18, that is in Year 8 to Year 14.

Antrim Grammar School is a co-educational grammar school in Northern Ireland. It is in County Antrim, in the North Eastern Region of the Education Authority. It is more commonly known by locals as "AGS". It has two neighbouring schools, Parkhall Integrated College and the Steeple Nursery School.

Antrim (named after the town of Antrim) was a local government district in Northern Ireland. It was one of twenty-six districts created in 1973, and was granted borough status on 9 May 1977. The borough covered an area of some 220 square miles (570 km2) and had a population of 53,428 according to the 2011 census. It was situated about 19 miles (31 km) north-west of Belfast. It bordered the north and east shores of Lough Neagh, the largest fresh water lake in the United Kingdom, and included the towns of Antrim, Toomebridge, Crumlin, Randalstown, Parkgate and Templepatrick. The council headquarters were located on the outskirts of Antrim town. Although the borough was not within the Belfast Metropolitan Area, it housed the city's international airport and many commuter villages.

Antrim and Newtownabbey is a local government district in Northern Ireland. The district was created on 1 April 2015 by merging the Borough of Antrim with the Borough of Newtownabbey. The local authority is Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council.

County Antrim was a constituency represented in the Irish House of Commons until 1800. Following the Acts of Union 1800 the constituency became Antrim (UK Parliament constituency).

Moylena Ground is a cricket ground in Antrim, Northern Ireland and the home of Muckamore Cricket Club. In 2005, the ground hosted two List A matches in the 2005 ICC Trophy. The first of these was between Denmark and Uganda, which resulted in a Danish victory by 28 runs, The second saw Canada play Oman, which resulted in 2 wicket victory for Canada.

Holywell Hospital (Irish: Ospidéal Holywell) is a facility that provides a range of mental health services in the Northern Health and Social Care Trust. Based on a 140-acre site in Antrim, the 149-bed facility is managed by the Northern Health and Social Care Trust.

The Antrim Area Hospital is a general hospital in Antrim, County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It is managed by the Northern Health and Social Care Trust.

The Massereene Barracks shooting took place at Massereene Barracks in Antrim, Northern Ireland. On 7 March 2009, two off-duty British soldiers of 38 Engineer Regiment were shot dead outside the barracks. Two other soldiers and two civilian delivery men were also shot and wounded during the attack. A dissident Irish republican paramilitary group, the Real IRA, claimed responsibility. The shootings were the first British military fatalities in Northern Ireland since 1997. Two days later, the Continuity IRA shot dead Stephen Carroll a Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) officer; the first Northern Ireland police officer to be killed by paramilitaries since 1998.
