The Antrim Area Hospital is a general hospital in Antrim, County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It is managed by the Northern Health and Social Care Trust.

Antrim and Newtownabbey is a local government district in Northern Ireland. The district was created on 1 April 2015 by merging the Borough of Antrim with the Borough of Newtownabbey. The local authority is Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council.

A statue of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh was unveiled in the gardens of Antrim Castle in September 2024. It was sculpted by Anto Brennan. It is sculpted in bronze and depicts Queen Elizabeth II with her consort, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, and two of their Welsh Corgi dogs. The Queen's relationship with corgis was renowned. The statue was proposed in January 2023. It was unveiled on 6 September 2024 in a ceremony attended by David McCorkell, Lord Lieutenant of Antrim, and Paul Dunlop, the Deputy Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey. Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council wrote that the statue "captures Her Majesty in a dignified pose, reflecting her grace, steadfastness and lifelong dedication to public service". Since its unveiling, the statue has been critically poorly received and has attracted disparaging remarks regarding the likeness of the two figures to their subjects.

Antrim railway station (Great Northern) served Antrim in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It was located on the mothballed Lisburn-Antrim railway line. The town is now served by Antrim railway station.

Antrim railway station opened 1848 and serves the town of Antrim in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. The station currently serves trains on the Belfast to Derry line via Bleach Green and Yorkgate station. Until 2003, Belfast-Derry trains reached here by means of the Lisburn-Antrim railway line, however, this line was mothballed after re-opening of the Bleach Green line. There is still the old platform for the Lisburn-Antrim line but has been cut back to allow room, on the other side of a fence, for the bus stands. The possibility of reopening it as a circular route, with a halt at Aldergrove for Belfast International Airport has been discussed. The station has undergone a major refurbishment to become an integrated bus and rail hub. In total, the station had 4 platforms. One is completely disused, two in use, and one that has been shortened and rarely used.

Antrim Grammar School is a co-educational grammar school in Northern Ireland. It is in County Antrim, in the North Eastern Region of the Education Authority. It is more commonly known by locals as "AGS". It has two neighbouring schools, Parkhall Integrated College and the Steeple Nursery School.

Parkhall Integrated College is an integrated co-educational non-selective secondary school in Antrim, County Antrim, Northern Ireland. There are 1,100 students aged between 11 and 18, that is in Year 8 to Year 14.

Northern Regional College (or NRC) is a third level educational institution in Northern Ireland, United Kingdom. The college has six campuses around the north-east of Northern Ireland (County Antrim and eastern County Londonderry): Ballymena (Trostan Avenue and Farm Lodge campuses), Ballymoney, Coleraine, Magherafelt and Newtownabbey. It also had a campus in Antrim and Larne but these have closed.

The Massereene Barracks shooting took place at Massereene Barracks in Antrim, Northern Ireland. On 7 March 2009, two off-duty British soldiers of 38 Engineer Regiment were shot dead outside the barracks. Two other soldiers and two civilian delivery men were also shot and wounded during the attack. A dissident Irish republican paramilitary group, the Real IRA, claimed responsibility. The shootings were the first British military fatalities in Northern Ireland since 1997. Two days later, the Continuity IRA shot dead Stephen Carroll a Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) officer; the first Northern Ireland police officer to be killed by paramilitaries since 1998.

Massereene Barracks is a former military installation in Antrim, Northern Ireland.

Antrim Castle or Massereene Castle was a fortified mansion in Antrim, County Antrim, Northern Ireland, on the banks of the Sixmilewater River. It was built in stages between 1613 and 1662. It was destroyed by fire in 1922 and finally demolished in the 1970s. All that remains are a slightly raised grassed platform as well as a freestanding Italian stair tower built in 1887, and a gatehouse built around 1818 with twin neo-Tudor towers, with older connecting walls. The gardens are a popular tourist attraction on Randalstown Road, Antrim.

The Six Mile Water is a river in southern County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It is an indirect tributary of the River Bann, via Lough Neagh.
