Breslau GO Station is a planned GO Transit train station to be built by Metrolinx near the community of Breslau in Woolwich, Ontario, as part of GO Transit's Regional Express Rail (RER) expansion program. The preliminary plan is to provide approximately 1000 parking spaces. A kiss and ride area and a bus loop are also planned to be provided. Metrolinx expects the station's daily ridership to be 2,480 in 2031.

Breslau (bɹˈɛsla͡ʊ) is a community located within the township of Woolwich, part of the Waterloo Regional Municipality in Ontario Canada. Separated from the city of Kitchener by the Grand River, Breslau is named after the former German city of Breslau, now Wrocław, capital of Poland's Lower Silesia. It is located at the junction of Highway 7 and Waterloo Regional Road 17. This routing, although recently bypassed, is the main route between Kitchener and the nearby Region of Waterloo International Airport, located south of the settled area. It is also close to the city of Guelph.

Solar Collector is an interactive light art installation in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. It was commissioned by the Region of Waterloo and designed by Gorbet Design Inc. The sculpture consists of twelve aluminum shafts lined with solar panels and high-intensity LEDs. Each shaft is arranged to optimize its exposure to the sun at a particular time of year. The shortest, most acutely angled shaft is perpendicular to the sun at the Summer solstice (June 21) and the tallest shaft is perpendicular to the sun at the Winter solstice (December 21). Energy collected and stored during the day powers a nightly show. The general public interacts with the sculpture via its website where they design patterns and routines for the LEDs which are combined to create the nightly shows.

Woodland Christian High School (WCHS) is a secondary school located in Breslau, Ontario, Canada. Founded in 1976 by a group of churches in the Cambridge area, Woodland provides Christian-based education. For several years, it operated from several Church facilities in the Cambridge and Kitchener–Waterloo areas. In 1979, the school moved into its current location. The facility has had multiple expansions and renovations which took place in 2002 and 2014.Woodland draws students from an area bounded by Ayr, Cambridge, Rockwood, New Dundee, Listowel, Drayton, and Waterloo encompassing Kitchener and Guelph.Woodland's sports teams, the Cavaliers, compete in District 8 Athletic Association of the Central Western Ontario Secondary Schools Association, as well as the Ontario Christian Secondary Schools Athletic Association. Chicopee Ski & Summer Resort (formerly "Chicopee Ski Club") is a winter and summer recreation club in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, founded Dec. 29, 1934, as a not-for-profit organisation on 165 acres (0.67 km2). The Chicopee ski hill has a maximum vertical drop of 200 ft (61 m). There is an average annual snowfall of 133 centimetres (52 in). Winter sports include alpine skiing, snowboarding and a tubing park. Summer activities include tennis, volleyball, high and low ropes courses, a 30 feet (9.1 m) rock-climbing wall, an 18-hole disc golf course (opened May 2009), mountain bike trails and a BMX course / PINES Bridge Park. Chicopee also offers extensive summer and winter camp programs, as well as corporate retreats with teambuilding exercises.

Idylwild Park was a park located on the Speed River in what is now Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. It attracted people from across Southwestern Ontario and the Golden Horseshoe, via the Grand Trunk Railway and the Galt, Preston & Hespeler (GP&H) Street Railway. Idylwild fell between the Town of Preston and the Town of Hespeler, just north of where the MacDonald-Cartier Freeway crosses the river today.
