Wong Tai Sin station

Wong Tai Sin is an area in Wong Tai Sin District, New Kowloon, Hong Kong. The area was named after the Wong Tai Sin Temple.The area was previously known as Chuk Yuen or Chuk Un, prior to the intake of two Wong Tai Sin Estates. The populace of the estates, the prosperity of Wong Tai Sin Temple and the completion of Wong Tai Sin MTR station gradually eclipses its former name.

Wong Tai Sin Temple is a well known shrine and tourist attraction in Hong Kong. It is dedicated to Wong Tai Sin, or the Great Immortal Wong. The 18,000 m2 (190,000 sq ft) Taoist temple is famed for the many prayers answered: "What you request is what you get" (有求必應) via a practice called kau chim. The temple is located on the southern side of Lion Rock in the north of Kowloon.

Upper Wong Tai Sin Estate (Chinese: 黃大仙上邨) is a public housing estate in Wong Tai Sin, Kowloon, Hong Kong, along the north of Lung Cheung Road, near Wong Tai Sin Temple and MTR Wong Tai Sin station. It consists of eight blocks built in 2000 and 2009 respectively, and it is now undergoing redevelopment.

Chuk Yuen Estate (Chinese: 竹園邨) is a public housing estate in Kowloon, Hong Kong, located north of Wong Tai Sin and underneath Lion Rock. Its site was formerly the Chuk Yuen Resettlement Area.It is divided into Chuk Yuen (North) Estate (Chinese: 竹園(北)邨) and Chuk Yuen (South) Estate (竹園(南)邨). The two estates have eight blocks each, and were all built in the 1980s. In 1999, some of the flats were sold to tenants through the Tenants Purchase Scheme Phase 2.At the centre of these buildings is a shopping mall, hosting a McDonald's, 7-Eleven, Circle K, three bakeries, a street market, Watsons, a dim sum restaurant, two supermarkets and a sports centre. Beside the mall are two parks: one with a fish pond and a waterfall and the other with basketball courts and football fields. Pang Ching Court (鵬程苑) and Ying Fuk Court (盈福苑) fall under the Home Ownership Scheme courts near Chuk Yuen Estate, completed in 1991 and 2001 respectively. They each have one block.

Lower Wong Tai Sin Estate (Chinese: 黃大仙下邨) is a public housing estate and Tenants Purchase Scheme estate in Wong Tai Sin, Kowloon, Hong Kong, along the south of Lung Cheung Road, near Wong Tai Sin Temple and MTR Wong Tai Sin station. It is divided into Lower Wong Tai Sin (I) Estate (黃大仙下(一)邨) and Lower Wong Tai Sin (II) Estate (黃大仙下(二)邨). After redevelopment, the estate consists of a total of 24 blocks built between the 1980s and 1990s.

Lung Cheung Government Secondary School (LCGSS, Chinese: 龍翔官立中學) is a government secondary school in Wong Tai Sin, Hong Kong. Lung Cheung Government Secondary Technical School (龍翔官立工業中學) was established in 1970. Originally it was only for boys. It became coeducational and an academic-focused institution in 2010.In 1997, Sun Yin-wai was the principal. That year, he stated that the school's approach was a "whole-school" scheme which included a programme focusing on morality and civics.As of 2018, Clark Chan Cheung-lam is the principal. In 2018, the school began allowing the usage of its facilities to outside groups as part of a government scheme to make more flexible land use. The Hong Kong Rope Skipping Association had inquired about using Lung Cheung's facilities.Every year the school has a speech day.

Our Lady's College (Chinese: 聖母書院), founded in 1953, is an aided girls school affiliated with the Daughters of Help of Christians. It is currently located at 3 Lung Fung Street in Kowloon East, Hong Kong. It uses English as the medium of instruction.

Morse Park (Chinese: 摩士公園), occupying 15.8 hectares (39 acres), is an urban park located in Wong Tai Sin in Kowloon. It was completed in 1967. The park was named after Sir Arthur Morse (25 April 1892 – 13 May 1967), the head of The Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation during and after World War II. City streets divide the park into four sections formally called Morse Park No. 1, Morse Park No. 2, and so on.

Our Lady of Maryknoll Hospital (Chinese: 聖母醫院; Cantonese Yale: Singmóuh Yīyún) is one of two hospitals in the Wong Tai Sin area in New Kowloon of Hong Kong.

Chuk Yuen (Chinese: 竹園; lit. 'bamboo garden') or Chuk Un was a village and an area in New Kowloon of Hong Kong. The area located in the approximate area of present-day Wong Tai Sin. The name now also refers to two public housing estates, Chuk Yuen North and Chuk Yuen South Estates. There is a village in proper Chuk Yuen at the junction of Shatin Pass Road and Lung Cheung Road.

Choi Hung Road Playground (Chinese: 彩虹道遊樂場) is located in Choi Hung Road, San Po Kong, Wong Tai Sin District, Kowloon, Hong Kong. The playground is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of Hong Kong.

Ho Lap College (Chinese: 可立中學), HLC, is a band-one grant-aided co-educational grammar school in San Po Kong, Kowloon, Hong Kong. Founded in 1969, it is a well-established secondary school in the area. In particular, HLC enjoys the status of one of the few "English as the Medium of Instruction" (EMI) school in the Kowloon district.
