Masdar City

The Masdar Institute of Science and Technology in Masdar City, Abu Dhabi was a private, higher-education and research institute active from 2007-2017. In 2017, it merged with two other institutions in Abu Dhabi, Petroleum Institute and Khalifa University, to become the multi-campus, sole-branded Khalifa University. Its previous structure, now part of Khalifa University, is now known as the "Masdar City campus". Masdar Institute was an integral part of the non-profit side of the Masdar Initiative and was the first institution to occupy Masdar City. The Technology and Development Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology provided scholarly assessment and advice to Masdar Institute. As of April 2018, the collaborative agreement between the two institutions is still in place and currently hosts several exchange students from the legacy cohorts.

Mohamed Bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) is a graduate-level, research-based academic institution located in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The current president, Professor Eric Xing, joined in January 2021. Sir J. Michael Brady served as the founding, interim president. Professor Ling Shao was the initiator and the founding provost and executive vice president. The establishment of MBZUAI is part of the United Arab Emirates strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2031, for which came the appointment of the world's first Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence.As of June 2022, MBZUAI ranks 127th globally among institutions that conduct research in computer science according to CSRankings. In artificial intelligence, computer vision, machine learning, and natural language processing specifically the university ranks 30th globally. The university provides admitted students with a full scholarship, including benefits such as a monthly allowance, health insurance, and accommodation. The university also secures internships by working with local and global companies. The initial class of graduate students were slated to start coursework in September 2020, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic coursework began in January 2021.

Emirates College for Advanced Education (ECAE) was officially established in 2007 and commenced teaching its first group of undergraduate students in September 2007 and its first group of postgraduate students in October 2007. The College is a specialist teacher training college in the UAE. It was established to be a teacher preparation, educational research and school development centre and is funded by government to play a key role in the modernization of school education in the UAE and throughout the Middle East in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC).

Khalifa City is a residential suburb located in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. It is popular among renters.

Al Bandar is a residential and retail complex located in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates, which includes residential towers, a marina and clubhouse, as well as shopping and dining venues. It was developed and is operated by Aldar Properties.

Abu Dhabi International Airport (IATA: AUH, ICAO: OMAA) (Arabic: مطار أبوظبي الدولي) is the primary international airport serving Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. It is the second busiest airport in the UAE after Dubai International Airport, and is the hub of Etihad Airways, the UAE's second flag carrier, as well as Wizz Air Abu Dhabi and Air Arabia Abu Dhabi. The airport is located 16.5 nautical miles (30.6 km; 19.0 mi) east of Abu Dhabi, and covers an area of 3,400 hectares (8,500 acres). The airport is served by 24 airlines who fly to 128 destinations. On 9 February 2024, the airport will be renamed to Zayed International Airport, after Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founder of the United Arab Emirates.

Etihad Arena (initially known as Yas Bay Arena while under construction) is an indoor arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, located on the Yas Bay Waterfront district of Yas Island. Designed by HOK, the capacity of the venue is 14,000 and it is operated by Etihad.

W Abu Dhabi - Yas Island, formerly the Yas Hotel and Yas Viceroy Hotel Abu Dhabi, is a five-star hotel famous for being built above and across the F1 Yas Marina Circuit on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. It is known as one of the icons of Abu Dhabi and has a futuristic design.

The Yas Marina Circuit (Arabic: حلبة مرسى ياس) is the venue for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The circuit was designed by Hermann Tilke, and is situated on Yas Island, near Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. Yas Marina was the second of four Formula One tracks in the Middle East, with the first being in Bahrain and subsequent tracks in Qatar and Saudi Arabia. A two-day GP2 Asia Series test was held to officially open the circuit, which was held a week before the 2009 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. It also hosted V8 Supercars between 2010 and 2012, with the event being the opening round in 2010 and 2011. Outside motorsport, the circuit was used for the final stage of the inaugural Abu Dhabi Tour cycle race in 2015. The circuit has an FIA Grade 1 license.

Raha International School (RIS) is a co-educational private school situated in Al Raha Gardens, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Raha was the first school in Abu Dhabi to be fully authorised to offer all three IB programmes recognised by the Abu Dhabi Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK).Raha International School (RIS) is part of Taaleem, the United Arab Emirates’ second largest school provider for early years, primary and secondary schools, founded in 2004. Raha International School (RIS) announced that it would be opening a second campus in September 2020. The new campus will cater for up to 3,000 K-12 students. It will be located in Khalifa City, near to the current Gardens Campus and has been designed by Architects CPG from Singapore, who have built award-winning educational facilities globally, with sustainability as a key driver in the design. The new campus will first open EY1 to Grade 2 in 2020 and all primary grades are expected to open by 2021.

The Aldar Headquarters building is the first circular building of its kind in the Middle East. It is located in Al Raha, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
