Lantz Hall is a historic building located at Massanutten Military Academy, Woodstock, Shenandoah County, Virginia. It was built in 1907–1909, and is a 3 1/2-story, seven bay by three bay, brick faced frame building in the Late Gothic Revival style. It features a projecting Gothic tower pavilion and three-bay pointed-arched porch. In 1926, a three-story, seven-by-three bay, gable-roofed ell was constructed to the rear. The building houses a dormitory, classrooms, a gymnasium/firing range, and an auditorium. It was the second building built on the Massanutten Military Academy campus.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

The Woodstock Museum of Shenandoah County, Virginia, Inc., was formed in 1969 by a volunteer board of directors, and is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to "Preserving the Past for the Future." The Museum's artifacts are housed in two mid-late 18th century homes located in the heart of downtown Woodstock, Virginia, in the historic Shenandoah Valley. The Museum is open seasonally, May through October, Thursdays - Saturdays, from 1 pm until 4 pm.

Shenandoah County Courthouse is a historic courthouse building located at Woodstock, Shenandoah County, Virginia. It was built about 1790, as a single-pile, two-story, seven-bay, structure with a facade of rough-hewn coursed limestone ashlar. A projecting tetrastyle Tuscan portico was added in 1929 to the central three bays. Atop the gable roof is a handsome hexagonal cupola with ogee-shaped roof above the belfry and surmounted by a short spire topped by a ball finial. A one-story Greek Revival style rear wing was added about 1840; a one-story clerk's office was added in 1880.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.The Shenandoah County Historical Society and County Tourism office operate the Visitor Center and Courthouse Museum in the historic courthouse.

The Woodstock Historic District encompasses most of the historic center of Woodstock, Virginia. Founded in 1761, it is the oldest community in Shenandoah County, which is reflected in its architecture. The historic district is organized around three major north–south axes: Main Street (Virginia State Route 11), Water Street, and the right-of-way of the Norfolk and Southern Railway. It includes some of the best examples of residential architecture in the town from its founding into the early 20th century, as well as many civic, religious, commercial and industrial buildings from that period, and has been relatively little altered since the 1940s.The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

Central High School is located in the town of Woodstock, Virginia and is part of the Shenandoah County Public Schools. It was built in 1959. It serves 796 students in grades 9-12. In 2006, Central High School had 14 students for every full-time equivalent teacher (the Virginia state average is 12). The principal as of 2023 is Frank Palmieri. Central High School's colors are royal blue and old gold and their mascot is the falcon. Central High School and the other two Shenandoah County high schools desegregated in 1963. In 2015, CHS was designated a National Blue Ribbon School.

Seven Bends State Park is a state park in the U.S. state of Virginia, located approximately 2 miles (3.2 km) from the town of Woodstock, near the historic "Seven Bends" region of the North Fork Shenandoah River. It was built in 1868, and is a two-story three bay square, Italian Villa style brick dwelling. It features a prominent square central tower; wide, bracketed cornices, embellished with decorative scroll-sawn friezes; and an elaborately detailed front verandah.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.
