Paradise is a historic house at 158 Winchester Street in Warrenton, Virginia. The oldest portion of this two story timber-frame house was built c. 1758, and is believed to be the oldest building in Warrenton. The central block of the house is three bays, with a side passage plan. It is flanked on either side by two-story wood frame wings. The house exterior was extensively redecorated in 1870, adding a full-width porch and substantial Italianate and Folk Victorian woodwork.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014; it is a contributing element of the Warrenton Historic District, listed in 1983.

Built in Warrenton in 1808, the sixth jail in Fauquier County, Virginia ran for only fifteen years before a new jail was erected behind it after a lawsuit with the Commonwealth of Virginia. In those fifteen years the four-cell jail saw death and disease from neglectful conditions. Soon after the 1823 jail was constructed, the 1808 jail was transformed into a jailer's house, so that he and his family could move in and care for the prisoners. A two-story sandstone addition was added onto the original brick structure to serve as a kitchen and second floor bedroom. It was operated as a jail until 1966, when the Fauquier Historical Society saved it from demolition and created a museum. The museum was known as The Old Jail Museum before it was rebranded as the Fauquier History Museum at the Old Jail in 2014. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.The first execution of criminals condemned to suffer capital punishment in Virginia since the passage of the law, by the last General Assembly, requiring the sentence to be executed in private, occurred at the jail on July 11, 1879.

Yorkshire House is a historic home located at Warrenton, Fauquier County, Virginia. It was built in 1938–1939, and is a two-story, 13 bay, brick dwelling in the Modern Movement style. It features a low-pitched slate roof, a horizontal emphasis, a curved corner with continuous steel windows, a large glass block window, an elliptical bay window with steel casements and a foliated, geometric, metal balustrade on the rear balcony. Also on the property are the contributing brick and- stucco garage, a banked stone pump house, and a frame storage shed (c. 1939).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005."

Highland School is an independent school located in Warrenton, Virginia. Highland was founded in 1928 by Dorothy Rust and Lavinia Hamilton as the Warrenton Branch of the Calvert School of Baltimore. It was renamed Highland School in 1957 and moved to its current location. Dakota is a historic home located near Warrenton, Fauquier County, Virginia. The house was designed by architect William Lawrence Bottomley and built in 1928. It is a two-story, Colonial Revival style dwelling. It has brick facing over a masonry block core; a slate-shingled hipped roof; and a symmetrical five-bay facade with a centered entry with a classical surround. A one-story bedroom wing was added to the right of the house in 1948 and garage addition was added to the left of the house in 1948. Also on the property are the contributing original garage and a stable building. Dakota is located near the site of the former Horse Show Grounds outside of Warrenton.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.
