The Wortham Theater Center is a performing arts center located in downtown Houston, Texas, United States. The Wortham Theater Center, designed by Eugene Aubry of Morris Architects, was built out of private funds totaling over $66 Million. The City of Houston owns the building, and the Houston First Corporation operates the facility.

The George H. W. Bush Monument, also known as the President Bush Monument, is an 8-foot (2.4 m) bronze statue of George H. W. Bush in Houston's Sesquicentennial Park, in the U.S. state of Texas.The monument was designed by Chas Fagan. The wider project included a plaza and a wall with four reliefs depicting events of Bush's career, sculpted by Willy Wang. The privately funded project cost $1.7million and was led by David B. Jones and local immigration lawyer Charles Foster. It was unveiled in December 2004.

Virtuoso is a 36-foot-tall, 21-ton outdoor concrete sculptural group by David Adickes. It was installed in 1983 on the outskirts of the Theater District in downtown Houston next to the Lyric Centre building. It was commissioned as a work that "paid homage to music, dance and performing arts".

The sorting facility was renamed to honor Barbara Jordan. The property is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. From 1887, the area had been developed as Grand Central Station for the Houston and Texas Central Railroad. The Southern Pacific Railroad built a new facility in 1934.

Market Square Tower is a residential high rise in downtown Houston, Texas, USA. It is 502 feet (153 m) with 40 floors and 463 apartments. The building began construction in 2014 and was completed in early 2017. At the time of groundbreaking, the building was the largest residential building in downtown in number of units and floors. The building is noted for a glass bottom pool that protrudes from the side of the building near the top, known as the Sky Pool. The pool, which cantilevers about 10 feet (3.0 m) over the edge, is the highest pool in Texas.

Sky Pool is a swimming pool in Houston, Texas, United States. Constructed on top of the Market Square Tower apartment complex, it is billed as the "tallest" pool in Texas. The pool extends out 10 feet (3.0 m) past the building into the air; this portion is made of 8-inch (20 cm) thick plexiglas so swimmers can view the city below from 500 feet (150 m) above the ground. It is supported by two concrete cantilevers, one on each side. The tower and pool, finished in November 2016, were designed by Jackson and Ryan Architects.

Downtown Aquarium is a public aquarium and restaurant located in Houston, Texas, United States that was developed from two Houston landmarks: Fire Station No. 1 and the Central Waterworks Building. The aquarium is located on a 6-acre (2.4 ha) site at 410 Bagby Street in downtown Houston. It houses over 200 species of aquatic animals in 500,000 US gallons (1,900,000 L) of aquariums. The complex includes two restaurants, a bar, and banquet facilities. It offers programs such as Marine Biologist for a Day, Zoologist for a Day, Sea Safari Camp, overnight stays and more. The education department works with school groups and conducts outreach programs. The Downtown Aquarium in Houston is owned and operated by Landry's, Inc. and accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums.
