Bad Wörishofen

Therme Bad Wörishofen is a spa complex in Bad Wörishofen, Germany (near Munich). It is called Therme despite not having a Roman Bath. The complex is divided into two parts: the Thermenparadies (in English the "Thermae Paradise") and the SaunaOase (in English the "Sauna Oasis"). The Thermenparadies houses the main swimming pools, including jacuzzis and showers. In the SaunaOase there are saunas, showers, swimming pools and a solarium. It is affiliated with the more famous Therme Erding in the nearby town of Erding, east of Munich Airport.

Skyline Park (also known as Allgäu Skyline Park) is a 35-hectare (86-acre) amusement park in Bad Wörishofen, Bavaria, Germany. The facility includes several thrill rides, family attractions, and playground amenities. The park is run by the Löwenthal family of showmen.

The Hammerschmiede clay pit (German: Tongrube Hammerschmiede) is a fossil bearing locality in Pforzen, Bavaria, Germany most well known for the discovery of Danuvius guggenmosi, the potentially earliest known bipedal ape. With an age of 11.66-11.42 Ma the site dates to the transition between the Middle and Late Miocene epoch, providing an important window into the faunal changes taking place during this time. This correlates to the time just after the Serravallian-Tortonian boundary, and the MN zones 7/8. It is one of the most well-known Miocene sites, with over 15,000 individual fossils and 117 species having been discovered as of 2020. It has been called "the most important German paleontological discovery of the last decades".

Irsee Abbey, also the Imperial Abbey of Irsee (German: Reichsabtei Irsee), was a Benedictine abbey located at Irsee near Kaufbeuren in Bavaria. The self-ruling imperial abbey was secularized in the course of the German mediatization of 1802–1803 and its territory annexed to Bavaria. The buildings of the former abbey now house a conference and training centre for Bavarian Swabia.
