KATH (910 kHz) is an AM radio station licensed to Frisco, Texas, and serving the northern sections of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. It features a Catholic talk and teaching radio format. Guadalupe Radio Network, a Midland, Texas, based Catholic broadcasting company, took over operation of KATH on October 1, 2006 along with sister station KJON 850 AM. Guadalupe Radio broadcasts Catholic programs in English on KATH and in Spanish on KJON. KATH broadcasts at 1,000 watts by day. But to avoid interference with other stations on 910 AM, at night it reduces power to 500 watts. The transmitter is off East University Drive (U.S. Route 380) in Little Elm, Texas.

Dr. Ray Braswell High School is a senior high school in unincorporated Denton County, south of Aubrey. It is a part of the Denton Independent School District. Areas in its attendance boundary includes the census-designated places of Paloma Creek, Paloma Creek South, and Savannah. It also includes portions of Aubrey, Cross Roads, Little Elm, Oak Point, and Providence Village. It serves the area of the former Lincoln Park, and Cross Oak Ranch.It is the district's easternmost high school.

Navo is an unincorporated community in east central Denton County, Texas, United States, located along U.S. Highway 380, approximately 10 miles east of Denton.

Paloma Creek is a master-planned community in northeastern Denton County, Texas, United States. The community is listed by the U.S. Census Bureau as two separate census-designated places, "Paloma Creek" and "Paloma Creek South", separated by U.S. Highway 380. As of the 2010 census, the Paloma Creek CDP (known locally as "Paloma Creek North") had a population of 2,501, while Paloma Creek South had a population of 2,753. As of 2022, the HOA currently estimates the population to be approximately 20,000. Paloma Creek was developed by Dallas-based Provident Realty Advisors over an area of approximately 1,200 acres (4.9 km2). The complete master-planned community is located north and south of U.S. Route 380 in an unincorporated area governed by the Denton County Fresh Water Supply Districts 8-A, 8-B, 11-A, 11-B, and 11-C. The Lakeside Estates neighborhood shares Paloma Creek's HOA and is located on the West side of South Paloma Creek. Although it is within the town limits of Little Elm, the vast majority of the 5,600 homes are within the five FWSDs. The homes referred to as North Paloma Creek that are North of 380 have Aubrey mailing addresses. The homes in South Paloma Creek have Little Elm mailing addresses.FWSD 11-B is also shared with Northlake Estates; however, those homes are not part of Paloma Creek. They merely share infrastructure. Phase I was completed in 2022 with 97 homes and Phase II began shortly thereafter with an additional 252 homes slated for completion. The proximity to US Route 380 Highway, Dallas North Tollway, and Lewisville Lake Toll Bridge are major factors for the rapid residential growth in the area.In early 2005, the first phase of homes was completed. Upon its completion, the community will be populated with 5,600 homes constructed by several different builders. The Volunteers of America Classic is a women's professional golf tournament in Texas on the LPGA Tour. It debuted in April 2013 at Las Colinas Country Club in Irving, northwest of downtown Dallas. Volunteers of America, the title sponsor, is a faith-based nonprofit organization that provides affordable housing and other assistance, primarily to low-income people, throughout the United States. Inbee Park won the inaugural event, one stroke ahead of Carlota Ciganda, and became its first multiple winner in 2015. In between, Stacy Lewis won by six strokes in 2014 and set the tournament record at 268 (−16). In 2018, the tournament moved north to the Old American Golf Club in The Colony, along Lewisville Lake.

Old American Golf Club is an 18-hole semi-private golf club in the southern United States, located in The Colony, Texas, a suburb north of Dallas. Along Lewisville Lake in Denton County, the course opened for play in 2010, designed by Tripp Davis and tour professional Justin Leonard.

Savannah is a census-designated place east of Denton in Denton County, Texas, United States. The community is a housing subdivision marketed by Huffines Communities and is located entirely within the boundaries of Denton County Fresh Water Supply District#10. As of the 2010 census, Savannah had a population of 3,318.

Eastvale was an incorporated municipality in Denton County, Texas, United States. It was situated along FM 423, just east of Lewisville Lake in southeastern Denton County. Eastvale was incorporated in the mid-1970s and the population stood at 503 in the 1980 census. After a brief period as a distinct community, the town began a consolidation process with the neighboring city of The Colony in 1987. By that time, the population was estimated at 643. On April 7, 1987, Eastvale citizens voted 75–71 in favor of consolidation. In order for the process to proceed, voters in The Colony had to support the measure as well. Residents of The Colony went to the polls on August 8 and of the 1,266 votes that were cast in that election, 999 (78.9%) favored consolidation. Soon after, Eastvale became part of the city of The Colony. Prior to the consolidation, Eastvale did not have a police department and was policed by the Denton County Sheriff’s Office. The Colony was incorporated and so had its own Police department. At the time of consolidation, The Colony’s police department assumed law enforcement duties over Eastvale as well. It has been claimed that Joseph "Joe Exotic" Schreibvogel, who became infamous in 2020 when he was featured in the Netflix true crime miniseries Tiger King, was the chief of Eastvale's police department.
