Perkiomen admits students in grades 6–12 and offers a one year educational option for post-graduate students. Perkiomen School was founded in 1875 by a Schwenkfelder descendant and immigrant. It is an example of regional Germanic architecture.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.
