Gmina Stronie Śląskie is an urban-rural gmina (administrative district) in Kłodzko County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland, on the Czech border. Its seat is the town of Stronie Śląskie, which lies approximately 23 kilometres (14 mi) south-east of Kłodzko, and 93 kilometres (58 mi) south of the regional capital Wrocław. The gmina covers an area of 146.42 square kilometres (56.5 sq mi), and as of 2019, its total population is 7,539.

Králický Sněžník (Czech pronunciation: [ˈkraːlɪtskiː ˈsɲɛʒɲiːk]) or Śnieżnik (Polish pronunciation: [ˈɕɲɛʐɲik]) is a mountain on the border between the Czech Republic and Poland. With 1,423 metres (4,669 ft), it is the highest mountain of the Králický Sněžník Mountains.
